"F U C K ME" EDEN QUIETLY SWORE AS Jacob got out of the truck to push Bella back in. Eden watched  softly grabbed her and shoved her in the truck, before slamming Bella's door shut and storming back in, starting the truck up. Eden could feel her anger rise as she thought about whose in the house, about whose waiting for her. She didn't want to know why that betrayer was back, she didn't care. Bella let out a confused yelp, she looked at Eden for help, not realising who was in her house, but the were-coyote just shook her head.

"There's a bloodsucker out there." Jacob coldly explained, his blood boiling at the smell of the bloodsucker. He gripped his hands tightly on the steering wheel, his nails turning white. Eden didn't know how to help him calm down, she was in the same position as his but instead of her hands on the steering wheel, they were gripping the car seat. She just wanted to storm in Bella's house and rip that vampires head off of their skinny little neck. She saw red, but the mere presence of Jacob had helped her calm down.

"How do you know?" Bella asked, scared. She thought of who it could be and Victoria coming back for her was the first thing that had entered her mind.

"I can smell the stink. I'm getting you both out of here." Jacob replied to Bella. Eden glanced out the window and noticed a familiar black Mercedes that was parked to the front. She realised Bella noticed it the same time as her when she moved towards the window. Jacob must've realised because he floored it, making Eden suddenly move harshly forward in surprise.

"Stop! It's not Victoria's-" Bella yelled in panic as she laid her hand on the window. Eden felt guilty, but the thought of seeing who was in that house again made her blood boil, she thought she was over it but maybe being forced in dungeon for decades still hurt her, just a little bit.

"Forget it-"

"It's Carlisle's car! They're here. Go back!"

"It's a trick-" Jacob began but before he could finished, Bella cracked her door opened while they're moving. In surprise Jacob slammed the brakes and she jumped out. Eden eyes widened in surprise when she turned out and checked on the human to see if she was okay, she can't believe Bella would jump out of a moving car just to see one of the Cullens. Is that how much the fragile human cared for them?

"Oh my god Bella! Are you okay?" Eden exclaimed as she got out of the car, she rushed to Bella and helped her up. It was an extremely stupid choice and Eden was slowly starting to realise that multiple times the human has risked her safety for the Cullens, didn't know if she should admire the girl or kill Bella herself for her stupidity.

"Damn it, Bella." Jacob said, getting out of the car. He rushed to her when he noticed Bella hurrying to the road that led to her house. The human let out a yelp when she noticed the furious werewolf standing in front of her, but that didn't stop her. She attempted to move him of out her way but he didn't budge. Sensing an conflict was about to occur between the two, Eden stood between them. She laid one hand on Jacob's chest and the other on Bella's shoulder.

"Stop, you gotta come with us." Jacob said angrily. He was glaring furiously at Bella and despite the serious argument that was about to happen, Eden felt her heart flutter once Jacob said us.

"It's okay. They're my friends." Bella said, trying to convince Jacob and she looked at Eden for help, although Eden couldn't help but agree with Jacob. Bella should not go to the house right now, the Cullens just brought danger and Bella was slowly improving herself. She was getting better and she didn't need them. She had Eden.

"Don't you get it? If a Cullen is back here, this is their territory. The treaty says we can only defend our own lands." Jacob frustratedly explained, he let out a deep breath as he furrowed his hand through his dark brown hair and took a step back. An attempt to calm himself down.

"It's not a war-" Bella denied, she shook her hand and attempted to take a step closer to him but Eden stopped her, she didn't want Jacob to shift and harm them both. He was trying to calm himself and the human shouldn't be all up in his space, it could cause him to shift and Eden didn't exactly want to meet wolf Jacob just yet.

"It is, and you'll only be safe in La Push. I can't protect you here anymore and Eden won't always be around. She's not going to be at you're beck and call whenever you want her" Jacob said, rolling his eyes. Eden's eyebrows went up in surprise, she wouldn't say she's Bella's bitch, which is what he implied. She just cared for the girl, and maybe caring for the girl meant answering her calls at 3 am in the morning.

" She's not my bitch and I don't need you to-" Bella attempted to say, trying to defend herself but Jacob interrupted her. Eden noticed they have a pattern of interrupting each other. Once she sensed that Bella won't be trying to go near him, Eden moved closer to Jacob and held his hand. He easily accepted, as if it was an instinct and he squeezed her hand.

"You're about to cross a line-" He replied, seething, but he was slowly calming down at Eden's touch.

"Only if you draw one." Bella said, sighing. She started to move past him but he let go of Eden's hand and stopped her.

"Bella, please listen to him" Eden pleaded, she was getting tired of this. She wished Bella would just see that they cared about her, and just wanted her to be safe.

"I'm not letting you do this." Jacob said worriedly, he couldn't let himself let Bella go to her house where a leach was. He knew whoever Bella went, Eden followed. The were-coyote had explained to him how originally Eden was forced to befriend Bella in order to protect her, and now she doesn't mind. Instead, she actually likes it. She didn't tell him why she was forced to but it was clear the Cullens had impact Eden in a major way and that gave him another reason to not like them. It's like they were begging their hearts to get ripped out of their chests. When Jacob tried to get further information out of her, she distracted him with her lips. Despite the sensitive topic, it was a fond memory. He could feel a smile forming on his face as he got distracted by his thoughts, before Bella snapped him out of it.

"You don't have a choice. I don't belong to you." If he still liked her then the words would've been a knife to his but he instead he disappointed in Bella, he shook his head and handed her the keys. Eden looked at Bella in surprise, she couldn't believe those words left her mouth. She knew Jacob didn't have an infatuation on the human anymore, and she went ahead and dissed him like that? Eden considered Bella as her sister and she knew he was her soulmate.

"Bye, Bella. I hope you don't die." Jacob said coldly, gone was the pleading voice. Instead he stared at her with cold eyes, before softly grabbing Eden's arm and pulling her with him into the darkness. Leaving the human alone on the dark road, clenching the keys. Bella flinched at the stinging remark. As soon as the words left her mouth she regretted them once she saw the hurt look on Eden's face. She loved Eden like a sister, but she couldn't help but get annoyed at them babying her.

...

As the two walked in silence, Eden felt her hands itching to go return to Bella. She wanted to stay with her soulmate, but she couldn't help the urge to check if Bella was okay, and maybe- just maybe, deep down, Alice returned for her. Although, realistically she knew that wasn't the case.

"Jacob?" Eden whispered nervously, breaking the silence. She stopped walking, biting her lips as she looked at him. He stopped walking and looked at her expectantly.

"Yeah?" Jacob questioned, he felt betrayed and he hoped Eden wasn't going to say what he though she was going to. After all he had done for Bella, she went back to the bloodsuckers. He was one who took her out of her depression, he is the one who protected her, he focused on her more then his own imprint. Jacob held his breath as he waited for the were-coyote to speak.

"I need to stay with Bella, the only reason the Cullen's let me go was to protect her. They don't care about me, they care about her." Eden admitted anxiously. She was scared what Jacob's reaction would be, and so she moved closer to him and laid her hand on his warm cheek. Unconsciously, Jacobs face relaxed in her hand under the moonlight, shining on them.

"What do you mean? I thought you wanted to stay with me?" Jacob questioned, the last thing he wanted Eden to do was to return to that house where a bloodsucker waited.

"Jacob," Eden began before pausing nervously. She took a deep breath and continued, revealing an information that she knew it may cause Jacob to shift or never leave her out of his view." I need to protect Bella or else they'll throw me back."

"Throw you back where? Eden, where?" Jacob urged, he grabbed Eden's hands, and looked into her golden eyes which were filled with tears. She knew going with Bella would devastate him even more, telling Jacob that she needs to go with the girl who danger follows right before revealing what happened to her would break him.

"Why do you think I was never with the Cullen's? They caged me in this dungeon for who I am. I was out of control I guess, and even though they had other options, they threw me in a cave. Caging me and never looking back." Eden explained tearily to Jacob, leaning into his chest as she thought back at the beginning. Back when when she first joined joined the Cullens with Edward, and when she didn't know how to control herself from shifting. It wasn't her fault, they've dealt with control but they didn't care.

"I-I don't understand" Jacob said, in denial. He shook his head as he furrowed his eyebrows, but before he could speak Eden lifted her toes and his lips met hers. His body froze for a second before kissing back. She was nervous but the excitement she felt from the touch of his lips encouraged her to kiss him harder. His lips were warm and soft, he tasted so sweet- oh so sweet, like cotton candy. She closed her eyes deeply in appreciation. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he pulled her in closer making her get a tingle down her spine. Her eyebrows furrowed as they kissed passionately, her hand sliding into his hair slowly; making it messy. Letting go, Eden felt breathless, their foreheads were touching as they stared deeply instead each other's eyes.

"I'm sorry-" Eden whispered hoarsely, before Jacob kissed her again and this time he was the one to pull back. He licked his lips before nodding and whispering, "It's okay, j-just know I promise I'll never hurt you"

Eden felt her heart skip a beat, she nodded before whispering a soft goodbye and hurried into the night. The night sounds start to encroach; branches were crackling and bushes rustling. Eden heart was thumping loudly, she was sure the supernaturals near by, they could hear how fast it was thumping. She was still flustered from the kiss, but she needed to focus on Bella and Alice.

Eden heard a small scream, coming from Bella's house. She ran faster and slammed the door wide open. Eden didn't care who was inside, Bella could be in danger. There, Alice and Bella were in a mid hug, though they were staring at the door in surprise. Alice's golden eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Eden.

"Oh my god, Eden. You're here." Alice gaped before slowly walked to Eden to hug her but stopped once she saw the cold, harsh glare Eden gave her. She was not going to be buddy buddy with the vampire, despite their close bond before she betrayed Eden.

"I heard Bella scream, thought she was in danger." Eden coldly revealed, her once golden eyes which were now glowing blue, narrowing at Alice as a warning. She crossed her hands together and stood against a wall.

"I saw you- both of youse in my vision. Bella jumped off a cliff- a-and you soon followed but-," Alice admitted before she clenched her jaw and pursed her lips in a thin line. "Why the hell would you try to kill yourself?" Alice questioned angrily at Bella.

"I didn't mean to, I was cliff diving." Bella mumbled, she felt guilty for all the troubles she was giving the Cullen's, Jacob and his pack, and Eden. Bella played with her fingers as she looked at Eden with guilt. She'll never forgive herself for causing Eden to nearly experience death because of her.

"Why?!" Alice shrieked, she never felt the need to use violence on her friends- especially Bella but she honestly felt like slapping sense into the human.

"Um.. fun?" Bella slowly said, she winced as the answer came out, it sounded more like a question. She looked for help.

"That was fun for you?" Eden questioned, amused. She raised her left eyebrow at Bella who smiled sheepishly at her.

"It was fun... until I hit the water."

"I have never met anyone more prone to life-threatening idiocy- and what is that hideous wet dog smell?" Alice lectured Bella before sniffing the air in disgust, then suddenly facing Eden in anger.

"And you!"

"Me?" Eden replied in surprise, pointing to herself.

"Yes you! You could've saved her faster if you hadn't let her out of your view!" Alice exclaimed angrily, she glowered at Eden who despite was beginning to feel nervous, glared right back. Bella gulped and quickly changed the subject.

"Oh, Jacob probably. He's kind of a werewolf." Alice stared at Bella in a horror, before looking at Eden for an explanation but the were-coyote just shrugged. Feeling awkward Bella moved to the kitchen to make hot chocolate, with the two supernatural beings following her in tow. Alice began to pace, she was anxious and Eden began to grow curious. She was acting strange, instead of being happy at the sight of an alive Bella, she was nervous.

"Werewolves are not vicious." Bella said, trying to calm Alice down. Eden felt like pointing out the fact that just a while ago they both saw Jacob and Paul fight, but she didn't. Instead she began to unconsciously began to think about the kiss she just had. She loved it, and wanted to see him again. Blushing, Eden shook her head.

"Until they lose their temper." Alice pointed out and stopped pacing.

"They saved me from Laurent, they're protecting me from Victoria-" Bella started to explain but Alice cut her off.

"Victoria? I didn't see her. I didn't see you guys get pulled from the water either." Alice said, shock lacing her tone. She began to pace nervously, and Bella put her hand on her shoulder. Stopping her.

"It was Jacob who saved us, more then once. I couldn't have made it without him. You have have no idea what it was like."

"Um I tried? And protected you before!" Eden protested but, she was ignored. Her protests going unnoticed. It felt weird seeing Bella like this, switching up and focusing all of her attention on Alice.

"Yes, I do. I knew leaving wouldn't be good for you. I tried to tell Edward, but he wouldn't listen." Alice said, her gold eyes softening as she looked at Bella's house. The two clearly missed each other, awkwardly Eden began to fiddle with her hands.

"Does-does he know you're here?" Bella hesitated saying, hopeful. Her brown doe eyes beginning to fill up with tears at the thought of the one who got away. Eden winced at the mention of Edward, she tried her best to not mention him. Bella always broke down whenever she spoke about him.

"Uh no, he's been.. away." Alice answered, not revealing anything. She looked away, avoiding Bella's hopeful, but teary eyes.

"I, uh need to go check on my dad" Bella said, noticing the red and blue flashing lights of her dads police cruiser. She excused herself with a frown before exiting. Eden knew it was just an excuse to cry, but before she could follow after the human, Alice stopped her.

"Eden, look at me." Alice said quietly. She stood in front of Eden, preventing her from escaping. Eden felt scared, she was worried that Alice would use Jacob against her. When Eden first met Jacob, she made the mistake of revealing who her soulmate was to Rosalie, which she thought now was biting her back in the ass. Eden forced herself to look into the vampires eyes, which were surprisingly sad looking. She knew if vampires could cry, Alice would be right now.

"Yes." Eden mumbled with a glare, defiantly. Alice's tears face wasn't going to convince her to put her walls down, so she put front that she didn't care but in fact, the were-coyote was going to shit herself and despite what the vampire put her through, Eden was hesitating with the glare. She may think of herself as cold-hearted, but it seemed that she hasn't learnt from her painful experiences the Cullens put her through.

"Do you have," Alice began to say before pausing with distaste, "control?" she questioned, the words control spat out of her mouth. Memories of the were-coyote struggling with control and committing acts of murder swirled through both of their minds. Eden winced before nodding, this seemed to relax the vampire,  who let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank god," She said, exhaling nervously before looking at Eden in the eyes. She shifted nervously, and Eden grew confused. Alice hadn't acted this anxiously since the day she let her out of that horrid place she called home for decades.

"I just want to say.. I'm sorry- no the others are sorry too. We knew you were struggling with control but we didn't, at that tine want to deal with it" Alice winced before quickly exposing once she saw Eden clenching her teeth in annoyance, "What we did to you was inhuman, and I understand me apologising won't warrant you immediately forgiven us.. but just know we really regret what we did and that we are sorry. Please forgive us"

...

Bella was talking to Charlie, near his cruiser when Eden awkwardly walked out of the house, alone.  He wore a dark, ill-fitting funeral suit, she noticed. Reminding Eden of the death of Harry Clearwater. Once they arrived at the car, Bella was adjusting his tie.

"Thanks for understanding, Bells. They wanted to keep the service small. Eden, keep her safe for me, yeah?" Charlie told the two girls and gave them a small smile. Eden nodded sadly, she hadn't talked to Jacob about the death of Clearwater, something she regretted. She hadn't comforted him.

"Don't worry about me- are you going to be okay?" Bella assured her father and queried him with a worried look on her face.

"Yeah, but Sue and those kids- Leah's only a year older then you's and Seth's, what- fourteen?" Charlie sighed tiredly, he rubbed his eyes and smiled at his only daughter once she hugged him. Eden stood awkwardly as he held on a little tight before straightening up and giving his daughter a small smile. He gave them a smile and climbed into his cruiser.

"There'll be a reception after. I might stay late, see if I can help." Charlie informed his daughter. Bella nodded with a small smile on her face before waving once he drove off. She turned to go back inside but gasped when she saw Alice suddenly at her side. Eden moved away from the two but stayed quiet as she observed the two.

"You're not going?" Alice questioned confused, she titled her head to the side and stared curiously at Bella.

"I'm not the most popular person on the werewolf rez right now" Bella admitted, she looked down and sighed.

"Because you're friends with me." Alice muttered sadly and let out a bitter chuckle. Bella shrugged and continued to look down at her feet. Eden looked at the road, surprisingly Jacob's rabbit appears in the distance. Alice must've noticed him too because the next words that came out of her mouth made Eden see red.

"Huh. Didn't see them coming. Didn't see him pull you out of the water- maybe my visions are allergic to dogs." Alice snapped, she ignored Bella sharp, "Alice!" and Eden's growl.

"You better watch your mouth, before I rip your tiny head off your tiny little body" Eden coldly warned, stepping closing to Alice. Her eyes were glowing blue and she was suddenly itching for Alice's blood.

"I'm going to go do some hunting" Alice said, not looking Eden in the eyes before jogging off. Eden smirked at her running figure before putting her attention at the rabbit that was pulling up on Bella's drive way. Jacob was driving, and there was Embry on the passenger. The two girls approached them, only to see another figure in the back. It was Quil, another werewolf. Eden only knew him from the images Jacob had showed her of his pack. She hadn't been back to La Push since the day she nearly drowned.

"Quill.. you too?" Bella said surprised, clearly disappointed.

"Yeah. Me too." Quil said aggressively, rolling his eyes as Jacob climbed out. Embry gave a wave to Eden, who waved back and took the drivers seat. Jacob stood next to Eden, and softly gave her a kiss on her cheek. Letting her know there was no hard feelings on her leaving. She gave him a small smile before wrapping her hand around his waist. The presence of Jacob was a surprise, but it immediately calmed her. She snuggled herself closer to him and secretly sniffed him. His smell was her favourite thing ever, it was a mixture of the smell of forests and chocolate. A surprisingly nice mix.

"No bloodsuckers?" Jacob questioned, raising his left eyebrow at Eden.

"No bloodsuckers." Eden replied cheekily, as she gave Jacob a bright grin while Bella frowned.

"Guys, don't be mean," Bella scolded and gave Jacob a questioning glance. "Shouldn't you be at the funeral?"

"Had to talk to youse first," Jacob replied softly before glancing back at the guys. "I'll meet you there. Go on." He said to the two werewolves. They looked warily at Jacob, but despite that they pulled out of the driveway. There stood the three, Eden snuggling into Jacob's arms and Bella staring wistfully at them, pushing away the jealousy. She wasn't jealous that Eden had Jacob, in fact she was relieved. Instead, she wanted a relationship like theirs.

Bella let out a sigh before making a hand motion towards her house, indicating for the two to follow her. The three walked inside the house in silence, which quickly disappeared once the door closed shut.

"Look, Jake, I'm sorry I-" Bella began to apologise but Jacob interrupted her, not ready to accept his apology. Eden knew he still cared for the girl, not in a romantic way of course but in a little sister way.

"This place stinks to hell." Jacob said in disgust, he scrunched his nose. Eden smirked and moved closer to him, giving him a discreet high five, to which Bella ignored. Her face hardened, she was stubborn and Eden recognised the signs her body language was giving. She was hurt, and shutting down.

"You're welcome to leave. In fact-" Bella began to snap before he interrupted her again. It was like a game between the two, always interrupting each other.

"How many Cullen's are here and how long are they staying?" Jacob queried, his eyebrows furrowed. Suddenly switching up.

"Just Alice- and she'll stay as long as she wants." Bella snapped, it seemed as though she was tired of Jacob babying her. Eden frowned at her tone, she didn't like it. For the past few hours she was starting to not like Bella's vibes, it was off putting.

"Are the rest coming back?"

"Not that I'm aware of, anything else?" Bella replied sarcastically before huffing and looking at Eden in exasperation. She was starting to grow uncomfortable with the tension between the two. Eden laid her hand on Jacob's chest, bringing his attention to her. His frustration and the what seemed like a permanent glare was gone, replaced by a soft small smile.

"It's okay, it's just Alice" Eden mumbled, although it seemed like the wrong thing to say because he shook his head and frowned, before moving slightly away from her.

"First it'll be Alice, then the rest of the bloodsuckers" He said angrily, "I don't want them around you" he told her in his deep voice. It was Eden's turn to get annoyed, she understood he was worried for her safety but these are the people she's lived with before. Albeit, they did keep her locked up but she knows them and she'll make sure it won't happen again. She has Jacob.

"They won't do anything to me" Eden replied back, frustrated. Bella nodded her head in agreement, "They won't do anything, not while I'm here" the human told Jacob who let out a growl.

"They'll especially do something while your here" He growled out before looking at Eden with a scowl, "You can't stay here with Bella and that's final,"

Eden pursed her lips before looking away from him, this argument came out of no where. It seems as though he thinks he can control her just because she's whipped for him and it hurt. She didn't like him bossing her around, and so Eden glared at him.

"You can't boss me around, I'll be staying with Bella and that's final" She said firmly, placing her hands on her hips. His eyes widened in surprise before hardening and took a step back.

"That's it." Jacob gritted out, turning around to leave. He didn't want to say anything that'll he'll regret, when suddenly the urge to look back took over him and there was Eden. She wasn't in the same position anymore, instead her hands were clenching her black sweater and her angered expression changed to hurt. Her lips were quivering and her teary golden eyes were avoiding his figure. She was hurt. Jacob had hurt her.

"Better go report to Sam." Bella bitterly said, not realising Eden's saddened mood until she looked at her, and went quiet. Eden didn't even look up when Bella spoke, she was too deep into her thoughts and trying not to cry. She wasn't sure why she was so affected by her and Jacob arguing. She barely knew him, and the fight wasn't even a big one, but here she is. Avoiding his gaze, and is at the point of near tears. She didn't notice Jacob slowly sneaking up to her, and grabbing her hands. He laid them on his chest and softly, in one hand, he lifted her face upwards to him.

Bella, sensing an intimate moment was about to occur, quickly left the room. She couldn't handle them having another cute couple moment, but she was deep down cheering for them.

"I've done it, I broke my promise to not hurt you " Jacob mumbled to Eden as he stared into her eyes. He felt guilty. It was never his intention to hurt Eden with his words, it was the last thing he ever wanted to do. Knowing he hurt his perfect soulmate killed him.

"It shouldn't be this way" Eden replied back, she was tired. She was tired of them never having a moment to themselves and she was tired of feeling conflicted all the times. She should be with him, on a date and falling in love. Instead, she was with Bella all the time, keeping her safe and falling in love from a distance. She loved the human, but also loved him. She was just so damn conflicted, Eden wished someone could just slap some sense into her and tell her what to do.

"Yeah, it does. Eden, we can't survive if your going to be around them all the time" He told her, his eyebrows furrowing as he stroked her cheek. Eden felt her heart drop, it felt like he was breaking up with her but it was deeper then that. Bella was her family, but he was her soulmate.

"Am I going to lose you, when I barely even got you?" Eden asked, a tear fell down on her cheek and Jacob wiped it away before slowly moving closer to the top of her head and laying a kiss. It was a goodbye kiss, and the realisation broke her. Eden clenched his shirt and squeezed her eyes tightly, wishing to disappear.

"I-I think it's the wrong time to be together. I need to improve on myself, and control my anger and you have your family," Jacob whispered before pulling her into a hug to which she easily accepted, she was weak for him. Eden tightened her around his waist and buried her head into his shoulder, her tears dampening his black shirt

"We're the right people for each other, but it's the wrong time" He softly explained. Eden removed her head from his shoulder and looked at him. She was heartbroken. Of course they're the right people for each other, their soulmates! They both care about Bella so she doesn't understand why he's pushing her away.

"We both care about Bella, I don't understand why your pushing me away. I'm doing the best I can, why can't you see that?" Eden pleaded, laying her hand softly on his cheek and her golden eyes searching his dark brown ones. He furrowed his eyebrows in frustration, and shook his head. This time he moved away from her, putting distance between them and breaking the sorrowful moment between them.

"Eden, why can't you see that I care about you more then I care about Bella?" He asked her, waving his arm around. This made Eden freeze, she hadn't realised that. He stood expectantly as he waited for her to speak before the shrill of the phone coming from the kitchen interrupted them. Jacob sighed, looking at her before walking away to answer it. Eden heard Bella's soft footsteps going towards the kitchen but she didn't focus on them. How could she focus when Jacob admitted that he cared about her more then he cared about Bella, the one thing she was afraid about was false. She knew they were soulmates but from what they both told her in different occasions; Jacob was deeply in love with Bella before she came around.

"Swan residence." Eden heard Jacob distantly say, in a matter of seconds his voice turned cold. It pulled Eden out from her deep thoughts, and so she walked to the kitchen where Jacob stood, the phone in his hand and Bella listening curiously.

"He's not here. He's at a funeral."He bristles, before hanging up. He turned around and saw Bella staring at him expectantly, although Eden was there she wasn't looking at him. He looked away from her and instead focused his attention on Bella. Eden hoped this would go all away, she was heartbroken and by whatever Jacob meant, she wished for the right time to come around quickly so that they could be together.

"Filthy bloodsucker" Jacob spat out the words, as if the words disgusted him- which they probably did. Eden felt the need to walk over to him but she ignored it. He ended things between them. She found it stupid, they were soulmates so it was obvious they were going to eventually get back together but it still hurt.

"Wait, who was it?" Bella questioned, hoping it was Edward before her shoulders slumped down once she heard who it was.

"Dr.Carlisle Cullen" Jacob lied, snapping at Bella. Eden lifted her eyebrows in surprise but continued to stare at the floor as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. She heard who it was, it was Edward. She wondered why Jacob lied, so she looked at him and was surprised he was staring right back at her with hurt in his eyes. She quickly looked down and realised why he lied. He wanted to hurt Bella, cause her pain he was experiencing.

"You should have let me talk to him." Bella said, her frown deepening more.

"He didn't ask for you-" He retorted before suddenly, his dark brown eyes went wild. His body stiffened, and started to tremble in the way the precedes a wolf morph. Instinctively and in panic, Eden took a step towards him.

"Step away from me, Eden." Jacob warned, the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her again, yet he did. Eden stopped in hurt, she just wanted to calm him down. She turned to see what he was reacting to and there she was. Alice stood in the doorway, instead of the perky aura she always had on her, it was despairing. She looked empty, to which Bella noticed who immediately rushed to her side

"Alice, what's wrong?" Bella questioned, laying her hand on the vampire's shoulder.

"Edward." Alice mumbled, she was still frozen in place and her facial expression hadn't changed. She still looked empty. This panicked Eden, who moved closer to her. The mention of her cousins name skipped a beat in her heart. He may have took part of her being locked up, and she may have imagined her murdering him while she was locked up- but he was still her cousin. Her heart was too soft for her own good.

"What about him? What happened?" Eden blurted out, worry lacing her tone as she stood beside Alice, Bella facing her on the opposite side. Jacob stood across the three knowingly, Eden gave him a quick glance before looking away. He was frowning, it was a guilty frown and Eden hoped Edward wasn't going to do what she thinks he was about to do.

"I just saw him in a vision, he thinks.. Bella is dead."

"That was him calling, not Carlisle." Bella gasped, realising that Jacob just lied to her. She faced him accusingly, and before the human could move closer to him, Eden stopped her. She placed her hand on her shoulder, preventing her from moving further. She waited for Alice to finish, and the sentence that came out of Alice's mouth made Eden freeze. It was something that she once longed for, until now.

"Bella, he's going to Italy, to the Volturi.."
