Lilith POV

Turning my humanity off was a good idea. No pain. No guilt. No stress. Just nothing, I liked it.

I didn't kill the first year, I let her wonder the school on her own. I left Draco for no reason at all except he was getting boring, standing there all scared, not really saying a thing.

Once I got back to the common room most of the party had left. Pansy was passed out on the sofa with 2 muggle beers in her hand. I rolled my eyes as I stepped forward towards the dormitory, my path was quickly stopped by Blaise. He didn't look drunk but he definitely didn't look sober either.

"Moody?" Blaise questioned while taking a sip from his red cup.

"Far from it." I replied trying to step to the side.

Blaise blocked my path again as a smile appeared on his face. "What's made you so angry?"

I look up towards him as he passes me a bottle of fire whiskey, I let out my hand weakly as he passes the bottle. The bottle misses my grip and heads straight to the floor, causing Pansy to jump off the sofa and Blaise to jump backwards.

"Sorry, my bad." Blaise cooed while letting out a huff. "So... what's up with you?"

"Nothing."

"Mmh... Malfoy's on edge all the time, why?" Blaise questioned while looking at me up and down.

"Ask him yourself."

"Alright then... can I ask you some think?" Blaise continues as I notice Pansy running off towards the bathroom, making me and Blaise the only ones in the common room.

"What?" I say.

"I have a defence against the dark arts exam coming up and I want to ask a few questi-"

"No." I interrupted him quickly.

"Only one question— vampires? Real or myth?" Blaise eyes looked down on me as though he knew something. I stare at him blankly, puffing out my lips and furrowing my eyebrows. "Lilith?" Blaise questions after a moment of silence.

"Myth." I answer.

Blaise let out a small, heavy chuckle as he shakes his head. "Wrong, apparently back in the day vampires roamed free in Hogwarts."

"That's ridiculous. You're drunk." I lied.

"Am I?"

"Yes."

"Actually I'm not." Blaise stands up tall, his cocky tone angered me.

"Maybe you are right. Maybe vampires did go to Hogwarts, maybe they still do." I pause as I walk around Blaise in a circle, his eyes follow me as I turn. "Maybe there is one in this room right now. Who knows?"

"Funny joke, Mikaelson." Blaise let's put a cocky laugh.

My anger gets the better off me as I vamp speed towards him, holding him by his neck and gliding towards the wall. Blaise's eyes grow in size as my veins under my eye appear for the second time tonight.

"A-are y-you?" He struggles to speak as the pressure of my hand wraps around his neck.

"Am I what?" I question sarcastically.

Blaise huffs and puffs trying to let out words. "A-a vamp-" I loosen my grip around his neck , causing him to speak more freely. "A v-vampire."

"No."

"No?"

"I'm a hybrid. It's different." I let out another sinister laugh like before.

I let go around Blaise's neck as I step backwards, I turn my back towards him and walk towards the sofa. Moments later Draco walks in, in a hurry. He's panting as he looks in my direction, his eyes go small as he storms towards me. I look over at Blaise who is still frozen still against the wall in shock and confusion. As Draco walks in his black suit towards me he doesn't notice Blaise, his hair bounces at every sudden movement.

As Draco approaches me he points his finger towards me. "You!" He shouts towards me. "You. You messed up. Do you know what I just had to do?" Draco stop speaking as he waits for my reply, but I just stare at him, tasing one eyebrow and biting the side of my cheek. "I had to clear up your fucking mess. That Ravenclaw was dead and you left him for people to find?" He takes a minute to breath as I stare at him unimpressed, biting on my bottom lip. "What's the point of this, Lilith?"

I don't answer as I stare at him dead in the eye.

"I'm serious. What is the point? Are you going to keep your humanity turned off forever? Is that how it's going to be?" Draco questions angrily while passing back and forth.

"Malfoy... be careful." A small voice came from behind him. As Draco turned around he saw Blaise, shaking with nerve watching my every movement. "She's a hybrid. She's dangerous." Blaise says quickly.

Draco's head snaps towards me as his lips turn into a thin line. "You told him!" Draco was particularly questioning me he was more of shouting out me.

"Maybe... I'm not sure..." I act dumb.

"Compel it away." Draco demands.

"Why?"

"Are you seriously asking me that? God Lilith how arrogant can you be?"

I shrug as I look behind Draco, towards Blaise but he was no longer standing behind him. I let out a sneer laugh as Draco turns around in panic.

"Whoops I think he's gone." I joke.

Not even a minute later goes by and I feel a sharp pain in my stomach. I take a gasp of breath as I see a sharp wooden stake driven through me. I look up towards Draco, who is gasping and hurrying himself towards me. My knees buckle as I see the floor getting closer towards me, a pair of cold, large hands grab me quickly. I feel my body touch theirs as they pull me in closer to themselves. I let out another gasp, barely able to keep myself up right. I push myself off Draco and land on the floor in a loud bang, I rest myself upon the sofa and stare down at the wooden stake. I look to my right to see who implanted the stake into me, my anger flares as I see Blaise standing stiffly with a smile on his face.

"Are you okay?" Draco asks in panic and despair.

"Aww look who's caring for someone apart from himself." I mock will trying not to move.

I look towards Draco who was wiping something out his eyes and heading towards Blaise, his large footsteps turned into a slight jog as he approached him quicker.

I pull the stake out slowly, trying to keep the groaning to a minimum. I look over towards Draco who was arguing and cursing at Blaise, vigorously. I throw the stake onto the floor as my stomach heals itself. I roll my eyes as I make my ways over to the boys I push Draco out the way to the left, causing him to stumble over his own feet.

I link eyes with Blaise. "Forget everything that happened since I walked into the common rooms tonight, forget what I told you. Now leave." It was for the best, I thought to myself. No matter how emotionless I feel, having someone else know about me would be extra hassle that I couldn't be bothered to deal with.

As I watch Blaise walk away Draco stepped towards me, he looked down at the stake covered in blood laying on the floor and let in a sniff of air. He glided his hand through his hair. The look of him made me feel different, and I didn't want to feel anything. Without a doubt, I pushed passed him, hitting my shoulder against his and stormed out the common rooms. The further I was away from him the better.
