It had been a just over a week since the accident with the Ravenclaw girl. Neither one of my parents got back to me, I didn't even know if they reserved the letter.

I did my usual of getting ready to head over the first lesson. I have been trying my best to avoid Draco recently after everything that happened. I couldn't tell if it was because I was embarrassed or scared I would hurt him. We would occasionally lock eyes and trade faint smiles to one another and sometimes talk.

First lesson was herbology, I didn't intend to be early but I seemed to be one of the first ones there, Neville was standing in the far corner examining a purple plant, Hermione was standing behind him reading a thick green book. Professor Sprout greeted me as I walked in, I didn't decide to walk over to Neville and Hermione since we hadn't spoken properly since the first train ride to Hogwarts, it felt like such a long time ago now.

The room started to get more crowded as the class slowly walked in.

"Morning, Mikeaslon."

I slowly looked up to see Blaise smiling down at me. "Morning."

"Have you heard about the news?" He questioned while scratching the back of his head.

The only news I knew about was that Harry Potter got caught teaching magic in the room of requirements but I'm sure Blaise wouldn't be interested in them.

"I want to know, too." A familiar voice interrupted my thoughts, I turn my head to see Pansy standing next to me with a grin on her face.

"Im not surprised." Blaise blurted out.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Pansy spoke with little to no energy.

"You always want to know the news, even if it doesn't include you. That is what I mean." Blaise let out a small laugh as I stand there awkwardly.

"Just tell us, for merlin sake." Pansy spat, as I stood there awkwardly.

"Well-" Blaise started to speak but the herbology door swung open, Argus Filch stood there holding his cat, Mrs Norris in his right hand, he scrunched up his face before letting out a huff. "Everyone must head to the great hall, imminently." His croaky voice over powered everyone as we all stood there in silence.

"Right then, ok. Off you go." Professor Sprout demanded while putting down a broken plant pot.

Everyone obeyed and headed out the class, there was murmur's and rumours spreading around Hogwarts. Some people were saying that you-know-who was at the castle, some others said another troll was let loose again, Pansy assumed that someone died but I'm sure that wasn't the case.

The time we arrived at the great hall the room was silent, it reminded me of the day I first fed on a human, my mother was gobsmacked, staring at me in shock. My father was grinning next to her trying not to laugh. The rest of the day neither one of my parents spoke to each other, it was pure silence.

As we sat down at the Slytherin table I noticed a particular person wasn't here. Blaise was sitting opposite me with Pansy on his right, Goyle was sitting the right of me but leaving a space between us to where Draco normally sat.

I scanned my eyes around the great hall but there was no sign of the beloved blonde head.

A small winey chuckle came from the front of the hall making everyone turn there heads and stare at professor Umbridge dressed in her usual pink outfit. "Some of you may be aware of why I called you in her." She let out another winey chuckle.

I heard a small groan as someone sat down besides me, Draco gave me a tiny smile and whispered in my ear gently. "I woke up late. Why are we in here?" His warm breath made a shiver go down my spine, I shrug my shoulders and turn back around to Umbridge.

Umbridge continued. "Recently, a fellow Ravenclaw girl had gotten hurt."

My eyes instantly widened as I gasp to myself as I stare at her in shock.

"Madam Pomfrey noticed bite marks on her forearm, she did some research and they are not no ordinary bite mark." Umbridge paused and pulled a strained smile as she continued. "A vampire."

I feel tight grip around the top of my hand as I stared hopelessly as the front of the fall, everyone had become on edge and started mumbling to each other. Once I finally faced Draco I was pushing back my tears, he gave me a small confuting smile and pulled me into an embrace, his long arms wrapped around me as I placed my head against his shoulder.

A forced cough came from the opposite side of the table, Draco and I instantly pulled away from each other and faced Pansy and Blaise who both had the same confused look on their faces.

"What the hell is that all about?" Blaise asked while letting out a small uncontrolled laugh.

No one replied but stared at each other awkwardly.

"Care to explain?" Pansy asked while giving me a death stare.

"No." Draco responded bluntly.

Blaise chuckled to himself once again before speaking. "Oh, I see how it is. Malfoy has got himself a girl."

No-one responded again, an awkward silence filled the table as I bite my lip thinking about Umbridge's speech and how my parents would react.

"I have." Draco says sharply, breaking the silence, gripping my hand under the table tighter then before.

My head quickly faces Draco as a warm smile appears on my face. This was a shock for both of us, neither one of us has talked about our relationship but now i guess its official.

Pansy puffed up and lips and rolled her eyes. "Nonsense." She wined.

"Problem?" I questioned her sarcastically.

"Yes there is a prob-" before she could finish her sentence Umbridge started speaking once again.

"From now on we will be putting vervain in the water system and making sure no-one steps out of line."

The great hall doors opened widely as a familiar old man walked in. "I do not think the is entirely necessary." Dumbledore says while striding to the front of the hall. "I am sure you are aware, that these are common rumors. Please escort yourself out the school, you will not be necessary."

Umbridge's face turned a bright shade of red, she stood up straight and let out a scoff. "I- I- run this school." A few Gryffindors let out a small sneer as professor Umbridge struggled to defend herself.

"Not anymore you don't, make your way out of Hogwarts grounds immediately." Dumbledore' tone had become frustrated and full of anger.

Professor Umbridge opened up her mouth but closed it again, as she started to walk down the great hall, Fred and George Weasley whispered a snarky comment under their breaths to one another, I couldn't help but let out a small, quite laugh, releasing some of the worry and tension from earlier.

Using my vamp hearing I over heard Dumbledore and Snape's conversation.

"Severus, we shall have to keep the girl safe."

"She is with the Mikealson's, you know what they done in the past. She can't be trusted."

"She is not like her father." Dumbledores head faces me as I quickly turn my head to the other direction, still eavesdropping in on their conversation. "Its the Malfoy boy we have to worry about."

"I have no control over what the dark lord wants."

There was an awkward silence as they walked away from each other, saying nothing but passing a confused look.

I turned my head towards Draco but Pansy caught my eye, she was giving me a hard glare. I couldn't help but feel slightly threatened by her.

"You got a problem, again?" I ask her while a grin forms on my face.

"Yes." She responded, bluntly.

"Oh, for god sakes, she always has a problem." Blaise said while fiddling with edge of the table.

"Mmh." Draco replied while fiddling with his rings under the table. Blaise let out a small laugh as Draco continued to speak. "I don't like you, you do know that right?"

All four of us went silent a Pansy sat there furious. Around five minutes went by before she spoke again. "I know."

"Well I don't think you do." I spat.

Pansy didn't hesitate before storming out the great hall, not turning her head back once.

"Wonder whats got up with her?" Blaise questions while trying to keep a straight face.

"Nothing unusual." Draco responds.

We all spent around twenty minutes talking about nonsense in the great hall as people enter and leave, I had completely forgot about the whole vampire bite situation until I saw Dumbledore walking over to where we sat, I took a deep breath and nudged Draco's arm to get him attention but he was too carried away with his conversation to notice.

"Lilith Mikealson, please follow me outside the hall." Dumbledore spoke in a calm voice with his arms crossed. Draco finally noticed him standing there but didn't say anything he just watched as I got up from the bench and make my way out the doors.

Once we reached a quiet corridor outside the hall I turned around to Dumbledore, his face was stern as he stared at me waiting for an explanation.

I took a deep breath before speaking. "So, I... um... I kind of fed on someone... but it fine she-"

Dumbledore interrupted me quickly. "It is not 'fine' you promised me you would not harm anyone."

"Yeah, I know but its not like I kill people, anymore-"

"Anymore?" he questioned looking at me with worry.

My eyes widened as I realised what I said, I tried to make up some fake reply but there was no lie that could cover up my mistake.

"You shouldn't be here, Lilith."

My eyes widened even more. "What?"

"You have been expelled for the rest of the year. Im sorry but you are a big risk at this school right now."

I didn't believe what was hearing, it felt as though someone had punched me right in the stomach.

"You can't do that." I argue back.

"I am afraid I can, I shall see you first of September." Without anything else being said he stormed out of the corridor, leaving me alone.

I walk back into the great hall to tell Draco and explain everything, he was watching the door like a hawk, once he finally saw me a smile beamed across his face.

"What did he want?" Blaise asked politely.

I hesitate before responding. "Im expelled." I say shyly.

"What!" Draco voice overpowered mine, making me jump slightly.

"Its fine." I lied. "Its only till the end of this year."

"Thats not fine, Lilith." Draco says more calmly then I expected.

"I know, but-" I stopped my self from continuing because there was nothing else I could say that would help the conversation.

As I arrived at the station in London my mother and father were surprising there to pick me up, my mother had a warm, confuting smile on her face as I walk over to greet them.

"We are not going home, we are working at the Malfoy manors most days so we shall be staying there." My father said strictly.

I nodded slowly as we walk towards the station exit. I was not 100% sure if they knew why I got expelled but the possibility of them knowing was huge.
