"There's not much I could of done..." my father says slowly.

"What did you do?" I repeat but this time with more anger.

The wind picked up as my hair swayed through the air. My checks felt cold as the tear stains soak into my skin.

My father rubs his chin sarcastically as he looks at me. "What can a vampire do to heal someone?" His sarcastic tone annoyed me.

"You give them your blood but I already did that-" I panic. "I already gave him my blood but he was gone already. He's gone." I frown as my head held low. "I can't save him." Everything was silent except the reminding sound of spells being shot around me.

Draco died before I could get to him. He died so I could live, although, it wouldn't effect me. Half of me was angry with him, angry that he knew I wouldn't die even if the killing curse hit me, but he still pushed me out the way and placed himself in front of the spell.

"Lilith it wasn't your fault." A hand gripped mine. I looked up lowly between my tears as I saw my mother smile at me softly.

"If I was paying attention, I could of."

My mother turned to my father quickly as she spoke quietly. "You did tell her didn't you?" Her eyebrows knitted together as anger spreads through her voice.

"Tell me what?"

My mothers eyes widened as her face tilted. "Seriously? Klaus." She pulled my father aside, letting go of my hand. They took a few steps away from me as she lowered her voice. "Our daughter is hurting. Tell her what you did, you don't need to drag it any longer."

My eyebrows furrowed as they turn back around, my father not responding back to my mother. "Lilith?"

"Yes."

"Draco's fine." My father smiled slightly as I see my mother's face relax.

"No. He's dead." A look of confusing spread across my face.

"I gave him my blood, Lilith." My father said watching me slowly. "Before the war."

A warm tingle spread through my body as an uncontrollable tear ran down my check. I let out a small giggle randomly as I wrapped my arms around my father.

"So he will be..." I stop myself as I step backwards. "Be a-"

"A vampire." My father finishes off.

I mumbled to myself. I turn back around towards him as I smile spreads across my face. He's okay.

A few hours had past as I sat in the hall full of injured children. People cried over their lost friends and family, people were hugging and saying their final goodbyes. I look down at Draco as I wait for him to awake. A panic rushed through me every few moments, in hope he would wake up. I trembled, scared that he wouldn't and my hope would be lost.

I fiddled with my bracelet, twisting it around my wrist, nervously. An instant gasp came from Draco as he looked around the room frantically. I quickly moved closer to him with no hesitation and held his hand.

"Hey..." I slowly say as my eyebrows knit together. "You okay?"

Draco ignored me, in fairness. "What happened?" He answered while looking around the room.

"So..."

"I died." He said to himself.

"Technically... yes."

"Technically?" Draco questioned.

"Well my father turned you." I started. "Apparently it was before the war."

"Before?"

"Yeah."

Draco's eyes widened as his shoulders relaxed. "Ah, the bourbon."

My eyebrows furrowed as I was half focussed on our conversation. I pulled Draco into an embrace as I unbelievably held him close to me. "I promised you we'd be okay." I laugh slowly.

"You did."

"I told you I wouldn't break the promise." I smile cheekily.

Draco smiled as he put his hand on mine. "You did." He pauses. "Is the war over?"

I nodded slowly as a smile spread across my lips. To my surprise, Draco didn't ask who won. It could be the fact he was scared to know, incase the dark lord succeed, or maybe it was because he all ready knew.

"Harry won." I assured him.

"Good."

A moment of silence went by as a enraptured feeling spread through my body. Draco was safe. I didn't get long to think before Draco interrupted my thoughts.

"So if I'm going to be a vampire." He lowers his voice. "Does that mean I can compel people to get my way?" He smiled with one side of my face. "Like-"

"I mean you could but you shouldn't."

"Mhm." Draco pushes his hair away from his eyes.

Draco POV

After me and Lilith left the great hall, we walked into my main grounds. Many death eaters had left including my parents. Klaus and Caroline Mikaelson both stood proudly next to each other, and for once Caroline was smiling.

Lilith rushed over towards them as her arms wrapped around them. The air felt cold as it touched my skin. The clouds covered the sun as i walk shyly over to Blaise.

"Alright?" He asked me with a hint of worrisome.

"Yeah." I responded truthfully.

"Great!" He said enthusiastically.

The Hogwarts grounds were full of people smiling about the war coming to an end. There was some people crying into each other's arms as they mourned their love ones. I couldn't help but feel this heavy guilt insinuating I was the reason people died today. I was a death eater, meaning I participated in people losing their lives.

Lilith quickly rushed over to me as her arms pulled me in closer towards me, her head digging into my chest. "I think we can leave." A smile spread through her lips as we both knew that being a death eater had finally come to an end.
