Lilith POV

A few days have gone by since Luna and I had our conversation, everything felt normal between me and her, she didn't act any way different around me. She promised to keep my secret hidden and promised she would also help me no matter what. This meant I had two people willing to help me cope.

The new day started calm, the birds were tweeting and I could hear raindrops falling upon the glass window.

I looked around the lonely surroundings of the dormitory. I closed my eyes slowly and thought about the conversation with Luna yesterday, she had been so calm but also exited at the same time.

My eyes instantly shot open as I heard small pecks knocking on the window, I turned my head forcefully to face the window. A small white snowy owl had a parchment rolled up in his beak, I opened the window latch to let the owl in. It swooped through the gap of the window and carefully placed the rolled parchment down on my bed, without hesitation I  started walking over to my bed, intrigued to know what was in the parchment. The owl straight away flow out the window leaving a gush of wind flowing through my hair.

I tried to hid the daunting feeling as I opened up the parchment.

Lilith,

Your father is at the manor.

I reread over the parchment. My father was at his manor, why?

Knocks faintly appeared against the dormitory door, I placed the letter down, stood up from my bed and peaked my head around the corner of the door to see who it was.

"Lilith! Good, you're awake!" Luna said standing on the other side of the door. "Mind if I come in? The Slytherin common room creeps me out."

I opened the door wide enough for her to walk in as I let lit a small chuckle.

"Here, I got you this!" Luna handed me a rather large blood bag. My eyes shot up at her as a huge smile spread across her face. "I hope it's okay, I-"

"It's perfect, Luna. Thank you."

She continued to smile as she skipped over to the edge of my bed and sat down.

I hesitated before ripping open the blood bag. "You don't mind if I?"

"It's fine, you enjoy." A giggle escaped her mouth.

I opened the blood bag quickly and careful not to waste any on the floor. I closed my eyes as I drank from the bag, it didn't take me long to finish as this was my first time having human blood in two weeks, it was a nice change from having rabbits blood.

"What is this?" Luna questioned while holding up Draco's letter.

Before I could respond Luna read over the letter, I really didn't mind that she read the letter, I wanted to keep everything truthful towards her.

Luna didn't say anything she just stared at the letter in shock. A few moments one by and still silence.

"Luna?"

Her eyes lifted off the letter and slowly moved towards me. "Huh, yeah?" worrisome filled her voice.

I started walking over to the bed and sat down next to her. "You have been staring at the letter for around two minutes and said nothing, everything alright?"

"No- No, I don't think so." worrisome also took over her eyes. "Lilith, I think you should go to the manor."

Thats the last place I need to be.

"No, I can't."

"Please, I have a bad feeling about this letter." She took a deep breath before continuing. "I think your fathers up to no good."

"Well thats not a surprised." I let out a big huff and stumbled off the bed. "Im not going."

"Lilith, I think someone is in danger."

My eyes widened, as my first thought was Draco.

All though me and him have become 'friends' I could not help but feel warm, fuzzy and comforted when I was around him. Its stupid really, Draco Malfoy the arrogant, judgmental Slytherin boy who goes around bullying other houses for his own enjoyment. Who would have thought someone would actually end up being friends with him willingly.

"Lilith?" Luna interrupting my gaze of thought. "Helloooo?" She asked while extending her words.

"Yeah?"

"Go to the manor, you don't even have to be seen. Just make sure everything is okay." Luna reasoned while making her way towards me.

Luna was right. There was something about that letter which suggested something bad, there was no harm in me going to the manor if I didn't get seen. I could find out what my mother and father is up to, they had always been ones to keep secrets from me, they told me it was to keep me 'safe.'

"Fine, how do I get there?"

"Apparition!" Luna remarked. "Harry Potter taught me to do it not so long ago, I can take you!" Luna voice was getting higher pitched of excitement the more she spoke which made it harder to hear.

The thought of Luna being by my side made me feel less anxious but I couldn't risk her being in danger.

"No, its to dangou-"

Before I could finish my sentence Luna rushed towards me and grabbed my wrist, she fixed your mind firmly into concentration, she quickly turned and tugged me with her. Without warning the we started twisting and turning, all I could see was blurry shapes forming as we continued to spin.

We arrived at the front of the Malfoy Manor safely, the manor looked dark and eerie. Luna quickly pulled me aside to get out of the open and hide behind a small bush.

"Thought you couldn't evaporate on school grounds-" I questioned Luna.

She put her finger over her lip to shush me and slowly pointed toward a large window. Through the window you could see my father sanding alongside my mother holding a glass full of bourbon. They were both dressed extra presentable, dressed in all black. My mothers face looked serious and full of worry as my father had a devil like smile spreading across his face, they both looked as though they were talking to someone important.

I loved my parents deeply but whatever they were up to had to be no good.

Moments went by, Luna and I were still watching the large window, I tried to focus my hearing on what they were saying but it was like they cast some spell around the room.

We had been hiding behind the bush for around 25 minutes before we heard the front door unlock and slowly open, the creaking noise from the door opening instantly made mine and luna's heads turn.

Draco Malfoy sheepishly walked out the manors entrance, without thinking I vamp speeded over to him interrupting his path and leaving Luna behind the bush. He looked down at me and widened his eyes, it looked like he hadn't slept in days, his hair was messy and his shirt was barely tucked into the waste line of his black jeans.

"Lilith? What the hell are you doing here?" Draco's voice came a crossed worried as he tried pulling me to the side, but I wouldn't move.

"Luna sensed something bad an-"

"Luna knows?" He interrupted me in a hurry, he furrowed his eyes and pattered his lip slightly.

"Yes, but that's not why I'm here. What's going on? Why is my father here?" I questioned while looking at his in response.

"He never told you? You don't know?"

"I wouldn't be asking otherwise, why is he here?" I snapped.

Without time for Draco to respond the front door opened again, and there he stood. My father.

He slowly made his way down to where we stood. "Well look at that." He paused as a devil like smile grow on his face before continuing. "A soon to be death eater talking to my daughter."

What? Draco Malloy, soon to be a death eater?

I moved my eyes over to Draco who had nearly the same expressions I did. His eyes had widened once again, he stood in a stiff posture tensing his muscles and his breaths had become a lot heavier. I looked back at my father but this time he wasn't alone, my mother was standing behind him along with Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy. I gave my mother a soft smile, she quickly returned the smile and walked up to my father wrapping her arms around his right arm.

I straighten my posture before opening my mouth to speak but no words came out. I wasn't afraid of my father, I never had been. I tried to speak again and this time words formed. "W-what?" I knew I didn't say much but what else was I meant to say?

"Sorry, love. I thought you already knew." My father claims, my father always had a weak spot for me,  he says that he would never allow anyone to hurt me and will keep me safe 'always and forever.'

I didn't say anything there was nothing I could say that would release the awkward tension in the air. I looked over to were Luna was, she was still then behind the bush, she shrugged her shoulders not know what was going on. When i face back to my parents, my father had approached both me and Draco, I instantly got a worried feeling that my father may harm Draco.

"Leave, Lilith. Now." Draco whispered quietly through his teeth.

"Might you forget, Mr Malfoy, I have very good hearing." My father interrupted while smiling down at both of us. "But he is right. I told you to stay at Hogwarts. Why did you come here?"

There was no good way to answer this. The reason I came here was to see what my father was up to and make sure everyone was safe, I couldn't tell him Draco owled me about him. I just stared at him hoping someone else would take the spot light of me and thankfully my mother did. 

"Klaus, we have a lot to do, go back inside, I will follow shortly." My father sent my mother a soft smile and obviously he agreed on what my mother said, she always knew how to persuade my father.

As my father walked back inside so does the Malfoy family, that just left me and my mother alone. It had been a long time since we both talked, we were so close when I was growing up but the past few months had been different as though she was hiding something, although she acts like nothing is wrong I can feel it.

My mother brings me into a warm embrace and whispers in my ear "I missed you, Lilith."

I let out a small laugh and pulled away from the hug. "I missed you too." She let out a small giggle in sink with my laughter.

"So, about that boy."

"Who? Draco?" I question while scratching the back of my head.

"Yes." She paused and let out another laugh. "I see the way he looks at you." She paused again.  "I think he likes you, Lilith."

"That's ridiculous." A nervous laugh escaped my lips.

"I also see the way you look at him."

My eyes shoot up quickly from the ground to face my mother.

My mother continues. "You might not feel anything towards him now, but you will." She gives me a cheeky wink and giggles again.

My mothers right. As much as I try to hid it, there is something between me and Draco.

I let out another nervous giggle. "Mmh, maybe... I- I don't know." My mother brings be into another warm hug before kissing me on the cheek.

"Please go back now, we will speak soon. I love y0u, keep safe"  My mother said while half turning towards the manor.

"I will, I love you too." I responded with much energy, and like that my mother was already back inside the manor closing the door sending me one last smile.

I walk back over to Luna who is still hiding behind the bush.

"I'm freezing, what happened it looked scary." Luna said while rubbing her hands together.

"I will tell you later let's just get back to Hogwarts before you freeze." A small laughter filled the air.

Without hesitation Luna grabbed my wrist quicker then before, we started twisting and turning, I could see the same blurry shapes forming as we continued to spin.

Although I have not found out about what my mother and father are up to I guess you could say the trip was quite successful. I found out Draco would soon follow his fathers footsteps in becoming a death eater, it didn't scare me knowing, it instead frightened me for this safety.
