This is my introduction to my character, Melissa Halliwell. I hope you like this character, I worked really hard on it.

Update: I have decided to change and update some of the parts of this story, so if you have previously read this story, you may be notice some changes. I hope you will still enjoy this story 

History: 

Melissa Halliwell was born on October 28th, 1102 in Italy. She is third oldest sibling out of four. Her family is part of a special Bennett bloodline that allows her to keep her magic if she is turned into a vampire. When she was 12, her family home was caught on fire with all of family inside while she was outside playing in the forest. After her family's death, her coven reluctantly took her in. She stayed with a group of children who were also orphans. A group of kids were picking on her since she wasn't very popular in the coven. She used her magic against them. Klaus, Rebekah, and Kol saw the altercation as they were walking past the area. Klaus saw a warrior spirit inside of her, someone who was like him. After a small conversation, the Mikaelson decided to take her in. The Mikaelsons considered her as their family. At the age of 18, she was turned into a vampire. She is part of Klaus's bloodline, and she is a powerful vampire witch who practices expression.

Relationships:

Klaus Mikaelson: Klaus has always saw a warrior spirit in Melissa but they have a complicated relationship. He taught her everything she knows about being a vampire from torturing people for information to manipulating people to get what you want. They usually don't agree with one another, but when they do they are a force to be reckon with. Melissa has always considered Klaus as her older brother, and in return as a big brother, he is very protective of her. One thing that they never say eye to eye on was Klaus daggering his siblings. She always felt it was a step too far and she thought it was wrong. In the mid 1300's, she undaggered Finn. When she released Finn, she had no idea that would have contacted Mikael to kill Klaus. Klaus would have tried to kill her if it wasn't for his other siblings and he daggered Finn again. In the early 1400's, she was yet again tired of his cruelty, she wanted Finn to be free. The other siblings thought it was a bad idea knowing what Klaus would do. She didn't listen so she undaggered Finn. With a variety of threats, Klaus chased her off.

Kol Mikaelson: Melissa and Kol have always been the closest out of everyone. They both have a strong love for magic, and it created a strong bond between them. When she wanted to turn into a vampire, Kol and Elijah were completely against it at first but in the end, they backed her decision. In the early 1300's, they started to develop feelings for one another, but when they saw what happened to Rebekah's lovers, they decided to keep their relationship a secret. When Melissa had to leave for undaggering Finn, it caused a rift between Kol and Klaus. They keep in touch by sending letters to one another. In 1492, after Klaus fails to break the hybrid curse, he goes off to join Melissa. They spent the 1500 and 1600's together, traveling to place time place helping witch covens but still reveled in their vampire nature. In 1709, Rebekah sent a letter to Kol asking him if he could join her in New Orleans with the rest of his siblings. He decides to go and she hasn't seen him since.

Rebekah Mikaelson: Melissa and Rebekah are best friends, she is the sister that Rebekah never had. They always defend each other in any situation, especially when Rebekah's brothers are going against her. Rebekah is the only Mikaelson who knows about Melissa and Kol's relationship, she decided to keep it a secret since she knew what would happen if Klaus found out.

Elijah Mikaelson: He was always like a mentor to Melissa, but like the rest of his siblings considered her family. He has always been protective of her, since she likes to rebel against Klaus. He tries his best to keep her from going completely her dark side. She has always encouraged him to have more fun and loosen up a bit.

Katherine Pierce: Melissa is a mentor to Katherine, they meet in the 1500's when Katherine was running from Klaus. She taught Katherine how to survive and basically made her everything that she is now. They always try to keep up with one another. 

Stefan Salvatore: She meet Stefan in the 20's when he was known as Ripper. When they first meet, he tried to attack her not knowing her strength. They use to hang out at Gloria's bar where they would feed on people, torture them and all other ripper activities. She often calls him Rippah, like Klaus and Rebekah, she also prefers his Ripper side.

Damon Salvatore: They meet in the 60's in California. They first meet in college, when Damon was feeding on a girl, almost killing her until Melissa came by and stopped him. They were blood drinking buddies and she has helped him from getting caught from all of his attacks on humans.
