Melissa

Me, Klaus, Stefan are sitting down on a couch, drinking champagne at a  store while Rebekah is trying on clothes. Trying to get her to look like she didn't just walk out of the 1920's since she was daggered for 90 years and was wearing a flapper dress when she woke up.

"There has to be more to this dress." She says from the dressing room.

"There's not." Klaus says. Rebekah walks out from the dressing room in a short black dress that came about mid thigh. Honestly the dress is that short compared to what I've seen in the past. Fashion has changed a lot in the last 90 years, so get why she is asking. But if I'm being honest, I've seen worse and wore shorter, so I can't say a thing.

"So, women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then." She questioned.

"Pretty much." I replied, because it was kinda true.

"You know I got dirty looks for wearing trousers." Rebekah said.

"You wore trousers, so women today could wear nothing." Klaus says.

"And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident." She complains while looking strangely at the speakers. This is how Rebekah adjusts to the new world: criticizing everything that is odd to her.

"It's dance music." Stefan says.

"People dance to this." She says. This is quite an interesting and funny conversation.

"Are we done?" Klaus says looking annoyed.

"And why are you soo grumpy? " She says while teasing him.

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying, one thing. Your necklace and you lost it." Klaus says clearly annoyed by this fact.

"I didn't lose it, it's just been missing for 90 years." She says. Rebekah, that means you lost it. "So what do you think?" She says as she turns around, showing Stefan the dress.

"I like it." Stefan says. She gives him a look.

"I can always tell when your lying, Stefan." She says as she walks back into the dressing room.

"Nice one, good work." Klaus says and drinks some more champagne.

"You're the one who pulled the dagger out of her." Stefan rebuttaled.

"I heard that." Rebekah yells from the dressing room. Stefan leaves to get some fresh air while me and Klaus are left to finish drinking.

"So, what have you been up?" He asks me, which I am kinda surprised.

"So, you want to know what I've been up to for the past 6 centuries while I was running from you?" I replied before continuing my drink, looking in the other direction. I was kinda upset with this question. It's a normal question to ask someone after not seeing them for so long. It makes me remember that the reason I haven't seen them in soo long is because of Klaus.

"Can you two please be civil out there?" Bekah says. She walks out in a pair of jean shorts, a sparkling tank top and a pair of sandals. "What do you think, Melissa?"

"You look great, Rebekah. Now can we please go now." I replied while grabbing her arm, pulling her towards the door. So, we left the shop and I text Stefan to meet us at Gloria's.

We arrive at Gloria's and she has started on trying to find the necklace. Me and Rebekah are sitting on the bar table and Klaus is standing near Gloria, practically hovering over her. Stefan walks into the bar and stands next to Klaus.

"You left us." Rebekah whined.

"Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode." Stefan says.

"Tell me about it." Klaus says.

"Don't be mean to Bekah, we wouldn't have to do retail therapy if you never daggered her." I said back, not realizing what I was saying. Everyone gives me a weird look and I just sat there, swinging my legs.

"So, what is she doing?" Stefan asks Klaus.

"She's failing" Klaus says.

"It's hard to find something when there is nothing to go off of." Gloria glared at them.

"So use me, I only wore it for thousands years." Rebekah suggest before jumping off the table and sitting next to Gloria.

"See, now this one offers a solution." Gloria says. "All right give me your hand, sweetheart." Rebekah gives Gloria her hand and Gloria starts the spell.

"So she is looking for the necklace, huh?" Stefan says and he starts to look a little scared, I wonder what he is up to. While Gloria performs the spell to look for the necklace, she start to sense something. She drops Rebekah's hand and everyone is staring at her. She says "I found it."

"So where is it, then" Rebekah asks.

"It doesn't work like that. I get visions. There's a girl with her friends."

"Yes, a dead girl with dead friends if I don't get my necklace back."

"Well, I'll have to dive back in to get the details."

"So, dive." Klaus says to Gloria.

"I need more time and space. You're harshing my ju-ju."

"We can wait."

"Klaus, Why don't we go and give Gloria her space so she can do the spell." I suggested and they all ignored what I said.

"I'm sure you can, but that's not what I asked for." Gloria says to them.

"Hey, you know why don't we just come back later. I'm hungry anyways and I'll let you pick who we eat." Stefan says to Klaus. They all give each other at look and decide to leave. I said this like a minute ago, no one ever listens to me. We are in the storage unit, me and Rebekah are sitting there since our girls are dead. "My girl's dead, I'm bored" Rebekah says and frankly I am little bored room.

"You weren't kidding about being hungry." I said.

"It's been a long day." Stefan says after he is finished drinking from the girl.

"Try being related to her." Klaus says and starts to laugh, Stefan is looking amused at the conversation about to brew.

"You're being mean. Why are you being mean? You use to love me." Bekah says.

"It's been ninety years, Rebekah. Give him a minute."

"Why are you taking his side?"

"Because, dear sister I feel pity for any man who doesn't get you what you want."

"Will you stop making me out to be a brat. I am not a brat."

"Thousand years of life experience says otherwise." Stefan then turns to Klaus and says "Well, you're no picnic either. I mean, I've only spent one summer with you and I feel like I want blow my head off." Me and Rebekah are brusting out laughing, Klaus is giving Stefan an evil stare. "Fantastic" I said while trying to hold my laughter in.

"I need to go." Stefan then gets up and walks out the storage unit.

"Where is he going?" Rebekah asks.

"To write a name on the wall. It's a long story." I said "So, what are we going to do with these bodies?" I ask and I see Bekah getting excited.

"Can I set them on fire?" She says, I swear she loves to set things on fire.

"Go ahead, I will be in the other room because I don't feel like seeing you burn dead bodies today." I tell her and she grabs some matches out of her pocket, how does she matches on her.....she loves to set things on fire: I tell you. I walk to the another room in the building and someone is following me, I turn around and it's Klaus. It looks like he wants to say something but I don't feel like hearing it. "Melissa, wait up." He calls to me and I ignore it and keep walking. I decided to go to Gloria's bar before I can even leave the storage unit, Klaus vampire speeds in front of me."What do you want Klaus, I going to Gloria's." Does he not get that I don't want to talk to him?

"Actually I want to know why you are giving me the cold shoulder, since I thought we called a truce." Klaus says to me.

"We did" I say to him while trying to hide my hint of anger.

"I can tell something is wrong because you keep on talking to me with anger in your voice. Yesterday we were fine and today you can't stand to look at me. So what is the problem?"

"You don't get it. Do you? You forgave me but I haven't forgiven you for what you did." I was starting to walk away and he speeds in front of me again.

"What do you have to forgive me for, love."

"What do I have to forgive you for!!! You had running for six centuries for undaggering Finn. All the times I could have with all of you if you didn't run me off because of your temper!!" I was practically yelling at him. Centuries of anger finally be released.

"Why can't you just forgive and forget?" I can't believe he's saying this. The King of Revenge just told me to forgive and forget.

"It's not that easy. I can't just forgive and forget all times I was looking over my shoulder making sure you weren't there. If I even heard that you were in same town I was in, I'd run like hell. I can't forget all the time I lost with you guys. You, Rebekah, Elijah, and Kol were all like family to me, you were all my family. You knew that and you just ran me off without thought!"

"Well you have time with us now. Isn't that enough? Look I know I can't turn back time so I can reverse what I did but I can try to make things better."

"Really, because I know you. You are always impulsive and never think of how your decisions could affect other people, neither do you care about it. Why should I think that you are sorry, now? If you're really sorry then you would have tried to find me a long time ago." I explained.

"I know it may be hard to believe but I did miss having you around, you are like family to me and my siblings." I could tell that he really meant and Klaus usually doesn't go into these types of conversation without meaning what he says. Maybe I could just forgive him, we could all be a family again just like old times.

"Okay Klaus, let's bring this to an end. I don't want fight or be angry anymore. I have spent too much time being angry at you."

"Okay then. Good having you back."

"You too, Nik." We walk over to Gloria's just to see that she gone. All of her things were gone; it was like she wasn't even here to begin with. We headed back to the storage unit. Rebekah is looking a little scared when we see her.

"Gloria's gone, she has cleared out. We need to find a new witch." Klaus says.

"What wrong, Rebekah?" I said. She looked scared, I wonder what was going on.

"Something wrong, he was asking about Mikeal. He not with us, Nik. I can sense it." She said, why would Stefan be asking about Mikeal. He has been desiccated for a decade and half.

"She's wrong, Klaus" Stefan says, Klaus runs over to Stefan and snaps his neck. We get all the stuff in the truck and we leave. I ask Klaus where we are going but he doesn't say anything. I wonder why he still carried these coffins around if his siblings except Finn aren't in there. "Klaus, why do still carry these coffins around if Finn is the only one in one?"

"Because he's not the only one in there." He says with a slight smirk on his face.

"Wait a minute, who else is daggered in there."

"Well, I daggered Elijah for helping the Salvatores who were trying to kill me while I was breaking the curse." He said so casually, it made my blood boil.

"You daggered Elijah, are you kidding me!!" What is it with him and those daggers.

"No I'm not kidding, I just said that a minute ago. Didn't you hear me?" He was trying to be funny but daggering your siblings isn't funny. It's crossing line that only Klays would think is okay to cross.

"Where is Kol then? He went to New Orleans with you guys." Klaus and Rebekah started to look at one another with a surprised look on their faces. "What is it? So, do you know where Kol is or not?" They still didn't answer me. It was radio silence until Rebekah put her hands on my shoulders, pulling me into a chair.

"Melissa sit down for a second." She takes a deep breath and starts to explain. "In the 1900's, Kol was building a weapon against Klaus so he daggered him." She says to me. My blood is boiling right now. Before I could even think, I ran over to coffins to look for Kol. Klaus pushed me away from the coffins and Rebekah was holding me back. I was going to strangle him even if he tried to kill me.

"Now I know that you are angry right now but if you undagger any of them, you won't like what's coming to you." He says to me. I can't believe he daggered Elijah, especially Kol.

"I am more than angry, I am enraged!!" I was yelling at him. "Why would you let this happen, Rebekah?"

"Now you know if I tried to stop this, I would be in a box too." She says me,  I decide to calm down. I don't feel like running for the next couple of centuries. "You know, your brother is a evil bastard. Right?" I said to Rebekah as I was going to sit back down.

"I have known that for a very long time, Melissa." She says to me and Stefan starts to wake up; Klaus starts to look at him calmly which was a shock.

"Just give me a chance to explain, Okay?" Stefan says to Klaus, he looks scared. Then again, he was asking about Mikeal so he should be.

"No need. I'm not mad, just curious. Rebekah seems to think you're holding on to something: A piece of your old life. Thing is, she has flawless instincts, borderline supernatural. So I thought I would check it out. See for myself what you've been hiding." He goes and opens the truck, I see we are in the middle of a small town.

Klaus says "Welcome back to Mystic Falls, Stefan."

I hope you all liked this chapter, I had a little trouble writing it at first.
