Melissa

Me and Rebekah are sitting in the truck waiting for Stefan to wake up. She kept staring at me, giving me a weird look. "What?" I asked her.

"What have you been up to?" She asks me.

"Nik already asked that question." I told her.

"But, Nik doesn't know everything I do about you especially about your love life. He also doesn't know who you were with for two centuries after he failed in breaking the curse." She says to me, giving me an all knowing smirk.

"I was with Kol the whole time. Helping witch covens and reveling in our vampire nature. It was nice not having to hide our relationship from Klaus." I say to her, I start to think about all the good memories I had with him.

Rebekah turned me a sympathetic look. "Look, I know that you want undagger Kol, but you shouldn't risk it. We just got you back and things are starting to get back to the way it use to be. I don't want you leaving again because of Klaus's temper." She says to me, and then Stefan starts to wake up.

"Well look who's finally woke up." I said, turning my attention to Stefan. 

"What happened?" He says as he starts to get up.

"You took quite the beating. My brother has been breaking your neck all afternoon. Quite the temper he has." She stands up and leans on the inside of the truck wall.

"Why did he bring us back to Mystic Falls?" He said as if he didn't know why.

"You can stop playing dumb. It didn't take him much time to figure out what you've been hiding."

"I am not hiding anything, I've done everything Klaus asked me to." Will he ever stop lying?

"No, but you did fail to mention that the doppleganger was still alive." Rebekah said to him.

"Where is Klaus now?" He asked Rebekah. He started to get a worried look on his face.

"With any luck, ripping that doppleganger's head off." I said. With that Stefan ran at me and pushed me out the truck. I punched a stake into his stomach and he fell onto the ground. He pulled the stake out of his stomach and threw it on the ground.

"What has happened to you? You are just like them." He said while struggling to get up.

"Oh honey, I'm worse. Unlike them I'm not just a vampire; I am also a witch who can kill you in a second, so don't test me." I said with a smirk on my face.

"You really do love her don't you. Well, consider me jealous." She then takes a crowbar and drives it through his stomach. Rebekah looks at her phone and gets a text from Nik.

"Nik wants us to grab the werewolf in the school and meet him in the gym." She says as we walk away from the truck, leaving Stefan on the ground. We got to the school and walked into the hallway where we say a guy and a girl. The guy had brown hair, the girl had blonde hair and was a little shorter than he was.

"Bekah, is that the wolf boy?" I asked her while looking closely at the two people.

"Yeah that's him. You know what to do, right?" She says as she gives me a slightly mischievous look. I gave her a nod and we started the walk towards the couple or at least I think they were a couple. "You two are adorable." I say; giving them a slight smirk.

"Do we know you?" The blonde asked.

"You must be Caroline, Elena's friend and you must be Tyler, the werewolf." Once Rebekah says that, we give each other a nod and she grabs the wolf boy.

"Caroline!" He yells to her. I run up to the blonde, she asks me "Who are you?"

"New girl. Hi, Bye." I say to her, I wave and then snapped her neck. "Come on, Bekah." We walk over to the gym with the wolf boy, who kept on screaming for help, we just ignored him. We get to the gym, he yells at Rebekah "Get off of me!" as he struggles to get out of her grip. "Shut up, wolf boy." I say to him.

Klaus says "I like you all to meet my sister, Rebekah. Word of warning, she can be quite mean." Rebekah throws the boy into Klaus's arms "Don't be an ass." She tells Klaus while rolling her eyes.

"Aren't you forgetting someone?" I say to him, directing towards me and giving him a look. "Oh Yes, everyone this is Melissa, family friend. Be careful, she has quite the temper." He says to them and I roll my eyes in response.

"I'm going to make this simple...Every time I try to turn a werewolf into a hybrid, they die during transition. Quite terrible actually." Klaus says to us and then bits his wrist and feeds the werewolf some of his blood. Well, I guess we're going to have another dead almost hybrid on our case.

"I need you to find a way to save my hybrids, Bonnie. And for Tyler's sake, you better hurry." He snaps the werewolf's neck and the three other people are staring at the boy's dead body shocked; Klaus is smiling at them.

"He's dead." The blonde boy says looking like he's about the cry, I'm guessing they were great friends. "He's not dead. Klaus's blood will turn him into a vampire." The doppleganger says, the blood will turn into a hybrid, really is she stupid? Meet this doppleganger like 5 seconds ago and I already hate her.

"If Bonnie is successful, he live through his transition. Go on and fetch your grimories and enchantments and what-not. I'll hold on to Elena for safe keeping." Klaus grins at them and grabs Dopplebitch's arm. And yes I did just call her that, that will now be her nickname since she gets on my nerves. She looks at her friends and they leave the gym.

"So this is the latest doppleganger. The Original one was much prettier." Rebekah says while walking around her, giving her an inspection. I'm trying to keep myself from laughing.

"Enough, Rebekah. Take the wolf boy elsewhere, would you?" He says obviously annoyed by her pestering at the Dopplebitch. Rebekah takes the wolf boy out of the gym. Klaus looks at doppleganger and practically whispering in her ear "Just ignore her petty little thing."

"So, what do we do now?" I ask Klaus. He then looks at me and gives me a grin. "Well, I'm going to stay here and watch the doppleganger. And you will be keeping a eye out on the Bennett witch." I frown at his words. I am not watching her, what do I look like...a babysitter?

"Oh, cheer up. You two can talk about witch stuff and other sorts, also she tries any tricks to here out of this you can stop her. Now, off you go." He chuckled and smirked at me. He was really enjoying this, wasn't he? I walk out of the gym and tried track down where the witch was, I soon found her in a science classroom. She had a bunch of grimores laying out with various other magical items on the table.

"Well, look what we got here." I say as I walk into the room, she looks at with a confused expression. "What are you doing here?" She asked with a questioning look on her face.

"Nik wanted me to keep an eye on you, since I know a thing or two about witches. So here I am." I say while taking a seat next to her. She keeps eyeing me while she looks at her grimore so I decide to make conversation.

"So you are the famous Bonnie Bennett I have heard so much about." I smirk at her and she gives me a surprised look. "You know who I am?" She says with a shocked expression.

"Yes, I do. I did just tell you I know a thing or two about witches." I say to her, does she listen? I literally just said that.

"But, you are a vampire. Why would you know about witch stuff?" She asks me and a smirk starts to grow on my face.

"Well, not exactly. I'm not just a vampire, I am also a witch." I smirk at her, and she yet again looks shocked. I swear that is the only expression she has given me, let me see if I can get any more out of her. I get up and start to circle around the table.

"How is this...." I interrupt her and say "Possible, well I am part of a special Bennett bloodline. My family died in a house fire back in the 1100's, I didn't have any kids before I turned so I am the only one of my kind. Anymore questions?" She looks at like she about to say something.

"What kind of magic do you practice? How old are you? Who turned you? Simple questions." She smiles at me and I start to chuckle. "First, I practice Expression." She looks at me with confusion, finally I got another emotion out of her.

"What is Expression?" You know what, at times I like her this and sometimes I don't. "The fact you don't what it is shows that you shouldn't practice it. Secondly, I am a 900 year old vampire, give or take a couple years. Thirdly, I was turned by Klaus." She was about to say something and I knew what was. "And before you ask, died from a werewolf attack."

"So, since you are probably a way more powerful witch than I am, why don't you help me figure out the problem with the hybrids?" She asks me.

"Well, Nik wants you to fix the problem on your own. He said because you caused the problem, you are going to fix it." I sit next her and watch her try to come up with a solution. After awhile, I started to get bored so I walked back over to the gym. The doppleganger is sitting on the floor talking to some girl and Nik is just standing there.

"Why aren't you watching the witch?" He asks me as I walk over to him. "I was getting bored, witch stuff can be boring sometimes. Vampire stuff is so much more fun... is there anyone we could torture or something?" At first, he gives me surprised look but then smiles at me. I turn my attention on the doppelganger.

"So, this is the dopplebitch that all the trouble has been about." I smirk while I jumped on the bleachers and had a seat. They both gave me a look, "What? I don't like her."

"You just meant her?" Now, he decides to be reasonable.

"I don't care." I say while I began to relax. Then, Stefan walks into the room and the doppleganger looks over at him with a surprised face, this gonna be good.

"Nice to see that you have finally arrived, Rippah or should I say liar." I cocked my head to the side and got up from the bleachers. "Come to save your damsel in distress, mate." Klaus says to him.

"I came to ask for your forgiveness and pledge my loyalty." Did Stefan really think this was going to work? Klaus doesn't like people who betray him or lie to him and Stefan has done both.

"Well, you already broke that pledge once already." Klaus walks over to Stefan.

"Elena means nothing to me anymore. And whatever you ask of me...I will do it." Stefan pleads.

"Fair enough, let's drink on it. Kill them, What are you waiting for? Kill them." Klaus tells Stefan, he was starting to hesitate and the dopplebitch starts to speak. "No, Stefan, don't. He's not going to hurt me. He already said..." Before she could finish, Klaus hit her so hard that she hit the floor. I was about to die in laughter, I know it shouldn't be funny but it is.

Stefan has his fangs out and runs over to Klaus, Nik grabs him by the throat. "She means nothing to you? Your lies just keep piling up."

"Let her go! I'll do whatever you want, you have my word." Stefan says while struggling to breath. Your word doesn't really mean much anymore, Stefan.

"Your word doesn't mean much. I lived by your word all summer, during which time I never had to resort to this....stop fighting it." Klaus then began to compel Stefan. "Don't do this, don't do this." Stefan begs Klaus.

"I didn't want to. All I wanted was your allegiance, now I'm going to have to take it." Klaus starts to tighten his grip on Stefan. "Don't...Don't." He begs Klaus. But he compels him anyway "You will do exactly as I say when I say it. You will not run, you will not hide, you will simply obey." Klaus let's go of Stefan and he slowly starts to get back up.

"No, Stefan!" Does this girl ever know when to shut up? "Now, kill them, Rippah." And with those words from Klaus, Stefan runs over to the humans and drinks their blood.

After a while, Klaus bends down near the doppleganger and says "It's always nice to see a vampire in its true element. The species has become such a broody lot."

"No, you did this to him." She says.

"No, he has always been like this. Vampires are meant to feed on humans, but he has been suppressing this side of him for do long, he is finally getting a chance to let it out." I said as I walked over to them.

"I invited him to the party, love. He's the one dancing on the table." He chuckles, and I begin to laugh. Rebekah walks quickly into the room, looking very angry...this isn't good.

"Where is it?! Where is my necklace?!?" She is close to yelling at the doppleganger.

"What are you talking about?" Klaus questioned her and turns to look at her. "She has my necklace, look." She says handing the phone to Klaus, he looks at the picture. He turns towards Stefan,"Well, well more lies."

"Where..is it?!" Rebekah looks at her like she was about to attack. "I don't have it anymore." The doppleganger says to Rebekah with a scared look on her face.

"You're lying." Rebekah yells before she brings her fangs out and bits Elena. Klaus pushes her off, "Knock it off!" He yells at Bekah.

"Make her tell me where it is, Nik." She yells back.

Klaus bends down towards the doppleganger, who has her hand on her neck from where Rebekah bit her. "Where's the necklace, sweetheart? Be honest." He asked her like she was a little kid. "I'm telling the truth, Katherine stole it." She says. Now, what kind of trouble is Katherine up to this time.

"Katerina, of course, well that is unfortunate. If we had the necklace it would make things a whole lot easier for your witch but since we're doing this the hard way, let's put a clock on it, shall we?" He says and walks over to clock while knocking a bunch of cups over. He sets a timer that appears on the scoreboard and it buzzes.

"20 minutes. If Bonnie hasn't found a solution by then, I want you to feed again. Only this time, I want you to feed on Elena, you know you want to." He smirks at her.

"No, Klaus! Don't do this to him." Elena screams to Klaus. "No one leaves. If this one tries to run, fracture her spine." Klaus walks out with me and Rebekah following behind. Me and her walk into a classroom where the blonde girl from earlier and the wolf boy are.

"Where am I? What happened?" He asks, the blonde goes over to him. "Tyler." She calls to him, "What's going on?" He asks her.

"Klaus turned you into a vampire. A hybrid, you're in transition." She tells him. "Don't leave out the hard part, sweets. You'll only survive if your witch is successful. If no...well your pretty much dead." Rebekah says to them and looks at her phone.

"You're going to be okay. It's going to be okay." The blonde says to the wolf boy. "I wonder how she's doing." I said while spinning around in a chair. "Tick took goes the gym clock." She laughs as we sit there.

Klaus walks into the classroom and says "Well, the verdict's in. The original witch says the doppleganger should be dead." Me and Bekah both start to get happy. "Does that mean we can kill the bitch?" I question because I would love to kill her.

"No, I'm fairly certain it means the opposite." He says which confuses both of us. "What?!" Rebekah says, clearly confused like myself. "Call it a hunch... " He says as he walks towards to the werewolf with a tube if blood. Rebekah holds onto to the blonde so she can't move.

"Elena's blood, drink it." Klaus says which shocks us all. The blonde is screaming "No! no, no, no. Tyler don't!"

"If he doesn't feed, he'll die anyway love. Consider it an experiment." He says and the wolf boy at first struggles but eventually drinks the blood. He starts to scream; holding his head in pain but then his face starts to change. His eyes are yellow and he develops fangs. "That's a good sign." Klaus said before walking out the room.

About an hour later, the doppleganger is in the hospital, having her blood taken to make more hybrids. Me, Rebekah and Klaus are outside the hospital. Me and Bekah are sitting on a car, "So, the doppleganger isn't the problem. Her blood is the solution." Bekah says.

"Seems so." He says to her.

"How did you know?" I asked him, because I really do wonder how he knew. "Well, you know how much the original witch hated me. Do you honestly think I would do anything other than the opposite of what she says?" Klaus says to us.

"Thousands years in the grave and she's still screwing with you." She says, Klaus starts to walk away but turns back around and says "Well, it makes sense if you think of it in her perspective. It was her fail safe in case I ever broke the hybrid curse. The doppleganger had to die in order for me to become a hybrid, but if she was dead..."

Rebekah finishes his sentence and says "Then you couldn't use her blood to sire your new species."

"Leaving me alone for all time" He says, this is why he wanted to make a hybrid army so he wouldn't be alone. All this time, I thought it was just to be more powerful, but he just didn't want to be alone. "Is that what this is about? Your obsession with hybrids. You just don't want to be alone." She said kinda shocked, I am little shocked too.

"What I want is to take my girl, take my hybrid and get the hell out of this pony town. You know, why don't you two get the truck? I'll get Elena." He says, me and Rebekah walk off and get the truck. When we get back, Klaus is gone. I get a text from him, it says "Had to leave in a hurry, I have Stefan watching Elena. You two don't kill her."

"Where is Klaus? What did he say?" She asks, I show her the text he sent me and she starts to freak out. "My brother left us here, are you serious?!"

"Pretty much." I shrug my shoulders at her. "What are going to do?!" She says shaking my shoulders. "For one, Rebekah you need to calm down. You are blowing this way out of portion." I say to her and she calms down.

"Look we can just ask the Salvatores if we can stay with them until Klaus gets back." I say to her and she then asks me "What if they say no?"

"Then we could just kick their ass's until they agree." I smirk at her and she then agrees. So, we walk down to the Salvatores and knock on the door.

"Hey, Melissa nice seeing you again." Damon says to me giving me a hug.

"Nice seeing you too, Damon. So, I was wondering if you had two spare rooms here?" I ask him and he smirks at me. "I have one spare room but one of you could sleep in my room." He grins at us and I am about to throw up in my mouth.

"We'll pass, but do you?" I ask again and he finally answers my question "Yeah, you and your friend are welcome to stay here, just don't kill me." He smiles at me, me and Rebekah head up stairs and I go to sleep. Today has been quite a day, I wonder what tomorrow will be like.
