Trained to kill?

Sandor's POV!!!!!

I smiled as I carefully helped Sophie out of bed catching her when her legs gave out. Her injuries and her clumsy self were not at all a good combination.

She grinned when she finally got her footing taking one step and then another. I walked with her the whole time as she started laughing and happily shouting "I can do it!! I'm getting better!"
Then she shakily walked over to Elwin who was grinning ear to ear. "You did it! I knew you could!" Sophie practically squealing as she moved into his arms. "It wasn't easy" he said chuckling. "I think you should rest now"

"But I'm not tired!" she complained like a young child.
It was my turn to chuckle. "Ms foster I need you back in bed so we can discuss training and physical therapy."

She sighed, and reluctantly waddled back to bed.

Sophie's Pov

After 5 weeks of extensive training and physio, I had finally made excellent progress! Not only that but I had mastered the throwing star and learned all sorts of fighting skills. She also learned sword combat and acrobatic's. She never wanted to feel as weak and helpless as she had those days she spent at the neverseen base.

Her friends had joined her for training twice a week, but Sophie had came to the pristine training grounds built outside allvuture every single day. With the black swans help sandor had made the most advanced training facility in the lost cities. And she had beat every level of the training sequence except, this one.

"Clash" her sword hit another.

She new that the scenes around her were effects and holograms but they felt real. She circled the neverseen member over and over dodging and blocking every chance that she got. I finally took a final swing. The members sword flying off and hitting the ground with a clink. I turned and swiftly hit his neck at the perfect angle knocking him out cold. I still had not gotten completely used to killing, my sanity couldn't handle it yet.

Not yet, that was what she told herself every time her coach yelled "what are you waiting for? Finish them!!" But I couldn't do it. I was still weak, that was why I was here every day. From sunrise to sunset all day every day. Well for the exception of foxfire. I came right after school though.

I opened my eyes breathing deeply, it was to easy for that too have been the last level. Besides usually when you finished the hologram would turn off with a very satisfying slow beep.

Then she heard footsteps, a lot of footsteps and the big doors opened and in marched an army of  at least 50 neverseen members. I took a shaky breath steadying myself before launching my attack. I smoothly ran to the group as they charged me.
One member tells orders and the others obey. I let them try to attack me, then quickly dodged each sword, punch and throwing star. Then I knocked them out one by one. Then there was one member left. "Hello moonlark" I looked up, the holograms had never spoke. The figure took advantage of my shock and moved to hit me with his sword,  I quickly drew mine and blocked it. I then flicked my wrist and the sword flew across the room landing next to the one from earlier. He looked surprised and froze then he grinned form underneath his cloak.

He lifted his hand and a flame flickered to life. I froze, "THAT HAD NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!" Flash backs of the torture I had endured at the hideout flashed through my mind. But I shook them away when I heard him step closer. Then he threw the flame.

I jumped and flipped out of the way it just barely missed me. I quickly grabbed a throwing star, and SHICK! It slid into his chest and blood erupted from his body as he screamed and fell to the ground.

Sandors words echoes through my head.

"It's them or me."

"It's them or me."

"It's them or me."

"It's them or me."

Then the hologram flashed off with a beep that wasn't nearly as satisfying as it should have been.
