Sophie's pov

"I-I-I don't- WHAT?!" I blurted the shock was overwhelming as if it was ripping apart everything I had once thought.

"I second that WHAT!?!?!" Keefe added.

I couldn't look away from Elysian's eyes brown, brown eyes! Like hers. And Elysian's eyes didn't look away from hers they just stared like that for a while as Sophie's heart rate struggled and failed to slow. I blinked and blinked pinched my arm I had to be dreaming this couldn't, wouldn't ever be real. The black swan had secrets but, This! This was to big. To hard to swallow. No. She just couldn't believe it.

"It may be hard to wrap your head" she said with a warm smile. You're not the only one who has a decided future for herself that has been kept a secret from them, your not the only one who feels like a puppet. Who's whole life is based on the black swan's decisions. I know how much it hurts to know that your an experiment.

"I understand." Sophie had waited to hear those words. Her whole life she desperately needed someone that new that she wasn't okay with what she was or what she was created to do. She needed someone to explain and not hide her from the hard truths and cold reality.

And when she looked back up at Elysian she wanted to instantly trust This girl. But, when she looked over at her friends they were sad, frozen in shock and confused they showed no sign in trust for the girl in front of her.

"Sophie. I think it would be best if we have the rest of this conversation in private." Elysian stated.

"No, you agreed we could come you can't just take Sophie!"fitz argued.

All of Sophie's friends seemed to agree but Sophie she wanted to speak to Elysian more.

"Okay" Sophie said not daring to glance at her friend's reactions.

Elysian smiled and pressed a button on the side of her chair and the circle that Sophie's friends were sitting on seemed to get smaller and smaller as Sophie and Elysian's chairs rode up further and further.

It stopped after 1611 seconds yes, she had counted.

The new room was like the other but the blue,pink, and purple crystals were replaced with orange yellow and red. Creating an almost sunrise type atmosphere.

"Sophie...... I know you haven't known me for very long but I've been watching you for a long time" Elysian said with an almost nervous smile.

"Watching me?"

"It's not as creepy as it sounds but whenever your emotions spiked really high it was as if my mind connected with yours."

"That's still pretty creepy" Sophie admitted.

Elysian chuckled.

"Can I tell you something?" She asked. Sophie nodded. "My name is not really Elysian that is the project name."

"Well then what is your name?"

Technically I don't have one. I was created in a lab and unlike you I didn't grow up with parents but forkle used to call me Elsie as a baby".

"You knew forkle?"

"Yes, but I only ever spoke to one."

"Huh." I said still confused with the whole two experiments thing.

"I know it's a big shocker but, there's more I need to tell you"

Sophie's eyes widened with shock when Fitz's transmission filled my head "SOPHIE ARE YOU OKAY!?!?"

"Yes"

"WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE YOU SCARED US!!!" He said still shouting in her head.

"I can take care of myself fitz, there's no reason to worry. I'm fine." Then she cut the conversation.

"Fitz?" Elysian asked.
"Yep, but I cut the conversation he was just trying to make sure I'm okay.I think we have to go back down soon."

"I really have more to tell you but we can talk in our heads later?" She asked.

"For sure!" I said not entirely sure why I was so excited. She smiled.

And pressed the button to lower us down to my friends.
