Docter's perspective

Elwin's pov.

I watched as Sophie woke up panicked and out of breath. I had finally convinced keefe to leave and get some rest before they had to tell the rest of the group the new developments.

Sophie. A strong Moonlark. She had been through so much and he had been there since the beginning watching and healing Sophie since she was 12. Twelve was too young to bear the burden that was placed on the poor girls shoulders. She had almost died to many times. He had watched her stop breathing and come to close to death so many times. Sometimes he wondered what if he couldn't save her next time? That was something he had feared for so long. And now there she lay bleeding to death and he could do nothing but delay and pray that he could crack the code to save her. But it wasn't looking good. He and livey hadn't slept last night. He had just sent info to the Elvin alchemists and anyone else who could help. He had contacted the council who were trying to get troll and dwarven paramedics. They new that they couldn't loose Sophie. She was the Moonlark and that was too important. So he worked harder and helped hold Grady and Edaline up when they were given the news he held them as they balled their eyes out. He cried too. No one could fully understand a doctor's job unless you had done it yourself. The struggle of not saving everyone and worse seeing and telling their families and friends the news. It hurt so much. But this was his life; holding people as their worlds seemed to collapse around them. Edaline and Grady were bad. But. Keefe was a whole new level. He tried so hard to cover up his emotions. But eventually it showed and I had to shove a emotion elixir down his throat then he watched as the real keefe showed up the one he tried so hard to mask as he was on the cot next to Sophie's holding her hand and rapidly repeating

"I love you. I can't live without you I need you to stay. Please stay Sophie please!"
As he cried and cried and cried. Elwin watched and eventually sat on the edge of Keefe's bed and pored a sedative down his throat.
