Desperate act.

Sophie's pov

In my nightmares I see so many horrible things happen. I can't even tell what's real anymore. But what I do know is real, is Elsie and mine conversations. And that blue breeze that keefe must have been sending.

Elwin's pov

All I could do was listen to the shouting match between everyone before I walked up to fitz and grabbed the vile heading to my lab to see if it was safe.

No one in general pov
Everyone out of the healing Center still yelling opinions on the vile and how the heck Everglen had been breached! They waited not so patiently outside the healing Center that had been closed off to the public. No one wanted a young prodigy to see the condition Sophie was in.
Someone had to change Sophie's sheets and cloths twice a day due to the blood loss. The only answer that anyone had gotten  from livvey was that the Moonlark didn't have long if it went on like this. So here they were hoping that somehow the answer was in the green vile. A vile they had gotten from their enemy. Fitz had said that he saw the woman who had used the weapon to torture Sophie , the one who literally caused the damage delivered the vile to save her. And they were trusting it! That's how desperate the situation was. They were willing to give Sophie anything even from the enemy to keep her alive!
It was crazy. But, that was how it was going to be so with everybody silently hoping that Sophie would live Elwin and livey walked out and beckoned everyone inside.

Tam's pov

"Come on in" Elwin had said. Tam had searched his tone for any sign of excitement or disappointment but he couldn't find any.

Do he followed the group holding Linh steady as they walked back into the tense environment that smelled like blood and tears.

I looked at Sophie again she looked slightly better than she had when she had left the neverseen hideout but her progress was very very slow. And he was pretty sure that she looked paler.

"Well?" Forkle asked.

"Well.... We think it's safe." Elwin said glancing at livey.

"My mother is playing a game. She won't do anything unless it benefits herself. And right now I don't see how this helps her!" Keefe said

"That's what doesn't make any sense." Forkle mumbled.
And I had to agree.

"Maybe they need her alive for something?" I suggested.

"But for what?"

"Does that matter right now? Sophie needs help"Edaline begged.

Elwin nodded. And moved over to Sophie his hand shaking slightly as he whispered "let's hope this works."

Then he poured the green-liquid down Sophie's throat.

Next thing I knew Sophie was screaming.
