Sophie's pov

Her head still ached from when Elysian transmitted into her brain and the swirling of questions through her mind didn't help either.

" how did Elysian even transmit to me from that far away!?!"
"Why did Elysian want to talk to HER not any one else HER"

And SO many more that it felt like her brain weighed extra.

Plus it didn't help that she was exhausted with no sleep at all the last week or so. She just couldn't sleep, to much stress, too much pressure, and way to much guilt, plus fear and nightmares kept dreams so far away as she layed down every night.

She new that the bags under her eyes were probably so big and dark that they resembled black holes. So she used the concealer from Jolie's room and that hid them. She had used that same routine every morning so no one had to worry about her sleeping schedule.

Now here she was holding linking arms with keefe, biana, Dex, and fitz on this big mission to talk to a mysterious powerful person. Who could wipe their abilities with a snap of its fingers.

she ran dragging her friends with her as she bolted into the void she then pictured the image that Elysian had sent her and with a crack of thunder she pushed them into a dark cave.

Sophie didn't have the best history with dark caves . She looked over to her right where Dex was standing next to her with the same traumatic expression on his face that she was probably wearing too.
Images of fire, that dark abiss that smelled sweet of sedatives, pain, screaming, that chair, trapped!
No escape!
More screaming!
A hand covering her mouth trapping her with promises of making sure she would never see the light of day again!
A cool blue breeze!-wait a breeze?
She snapped back to the present to find the worried yet handsome face of keefe Sencen.
He squeezed her and tightly and she let out a breath. (only blushing a little)

She turned to see biana holding Dex's hand with a concerned look on her face. Then she saw fitz watching all of them with a fake smile.
Sophie decided to cut him a break and let go of keefe's hand and even though she missed the cooling and yet heat of his hand she didn't reach back.

"Ah you've finally made it!" a voice echoed through the cavern "come in!"

Her and her friends slowly walked to the end of the tunnel and turned to to see a beautiful brightly lit room with glowing crystals. The crystals shimmered and shined casting lights of blue, purple, and pink across the large room.

The beauty of the room was the reason she didn't see the woman sitting in some comfy chair her dark hair and beautiful chocolate coloured skin that was so smooth. Her lips were heart shaped and pink and her eyelashes seemed to be perfectly brushed and styled.
Only when the familiar voice came out of her mouth did Sophie realize that she had just met Elysian!
