*Cats POV*

"And the winner of this weeks Saturday night karaoke is..." There was a general quiet in the room as a drumroll played and the DJ tried to create tension in the room. It might have actually worked if Jade hadn't yelled "Just say it already!"

He threw her a dirty look but looked away just as quickly when she returned it. I rolled my eyes, used to this. The guys had awkward apologetic smiles, obviously for the DJ. They have a lot to learn. If they're going to be around Jade, they need to learn that if you're apologetic towards everyone, you're going to spend the rest of your life embarrassed with awkward pity smiles.

"It's a tie! The winners are Jade West, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles!" I jumped up and pulled Jadey with me and shooed her onto the stage and then made twice as much noise as anyone else.

"Now, the winner always does an encore using any song they want, so I guess we're in for a treat tonight with two!" The DJ yelled.

Jade decided to go first and took two mics. The DJ looked at her funny. "My friends going to sing with me. That cool with you?" She turned before he could answer and beckoned me onstage. I was sooo excited! I ran up and grabbed the mic and turned to face the room. "Just play the next song on my CD." Jade turned back to the front. I knew exactly what we were singing. The music began and Jade started.

I caught Jadey's eye. All five guys' jaws had dropped to the floor, making us smile. We started the chorus.

Then it was Jade's turn again. I couldn't bear to look at the guys because seeing their faces would have made me laugh and ruin it.

I have to say, she does dark and seductive pretty well, but I guess I knew that already. I can try and do that too I guess... But even if I can't, I have the biggest note.

The crowd started to cheer and I took Jadey's hand and bowed then wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my head in her shoulder. She patted my back then pulled me off. I looked over at the boys and they were all smiling and clapping like crazy, but still looked a little shocked by our saucy performance.

They came over and Liam looked like he was about to hug Jade, then thought better and ran his hand through his hair awkwardly. I laughed at his reaction and gave him a hug. Hey, I'm no Jade West but I give amazing hugs! My brother doesn't really do hugs, he just tends to squeeze until you cant breathe, so I always have love to give. Then I decided to give the rest of them hugs too, so they didn't feel left out. Every hug is different, there are no two the same. Jade's are soft and strong at the same time, making you feel like you could stay there forever.

When I hugged Zayn, he swayed me from side to side in a sort of dance, making me smile. I gave Harry a hug next. He hugged me so tight I felt slightly claustrophobic, but it wasn't unpleasant. I looked up and smiled. He poked my dimples, so I poked his, making him laugh. Next I moved onto Louis. As soon as I opened my arms he grabbed hold of me swinging me round and round until I felt giddy and I was laughing like a lunatic, begging him to put me down. Liam's hug was strong and secure. It was calming, unlike the rest. I could feel Jade's eyes burning into my back so I let go. After Liam, I hugged Niall. It was the sweetest hug I have ever felt.

It was so soft and gentle but it made me feel safe. He was quite a bit taller than me, just like all the other boys. Then again, it's not that hard to be taller than me. I'm a titch, like a baby, which is why Jade sometimes calls me Kitten. I rested my head against Niall's chest and sighed. He put his chin on my head and the next thing I new Jade was whispering in my ear and pulling me away gently.

"Come on Kitten, the boys have to sing now." I looked at Niall and he was blushing, the pink tinge even reaching the tips of his ears. I looked down, because I knew I was probably the same colour as my hair. The DJ had changed the CD so Jade took my hand and led me to the side of the stage where the boys had been while they took our spot centre stage. The audience had just been watching this all unfold, waiting.

"This song is called One Thing, and Liam wrote it for the same girl he wrote the last song for." Louis said, making Liam blush. I looked at Jade. She looked surprised. I'm guessing she didn't know about this one. I nudged her and raised my eyebrows, and she slapped my hand away, but she smiled the tiniest of tiny smiles.

Liam:

"I've tried playing it cool,

But when I'm looking at you,

He was looking at Jade the entire time, and smiled when he said the last line, and we both got it. He didn't just mean because of the crush, it was because she was terrifying. She returned the smile, which amazed me. It doesn't take much to shock me but I've never seen her like this before.

Harry:

Now Jade looks completely shell-shocked. As in like my purple giraffe had taken over and was now singing the llama song onstage. I guess she had no idea. She told me it was a little crush, but it's sooo much more than that. Liam's in luurrrvvv! With Jadey!

Niall:

When he said that Jade looked up (she'd been staring at her knees since the first verse to hide her blushes, but I'm Cat, international spy, so I know these things because I'm smart) and she actually let him see the blush. She didn't look away, and neither did he, until they had to sing. It was really weird because she was being all normal and blushing, but still had the same mean glare as normal, even if it wasn't as concentrated. I think it might be habit.

Well that was a really cool song!! I'm so happy that Jade's finally found someone new that's not Beck that she doesn't always fight with, even if she doesn't know it yet. My name's not Cat VALENTINE for no reason! It's matchmaking time. The boys came off the stage and were on their way over to the table.

"OHMYGOD YOU WERE AMAZING! THAT WAS THE COOLEST SONG EVER! I LOVED IT! DO YOU HAVE ANYMORE? I NEED MORE! MY BROTHER USED TO SING TO ME BUT THEN MY NONNA TOLD HIM TO STOP BECAUSE THEY WERE SCARY!" I jumped up and down and leaped onto the guys in a massive hug, but most of my weight landed on Harry, and I don't think he was expecting it because we both fell backwards, and I landed on top of him. We were both laughing so hard!

*Jades POV*

That song was really sweet. Mushy, but sweet. If I'm being totally honest, I loved every second of it, but I'd never admit that to him. I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard a squeal. Cat's squeal to be exact. It was one of those comedic moments when I turn to look then look down because I don't see anything. Harry and Cat were on the floor, with her on top of him. They were laughing like crazy. He really needs to be stronger if he's going to be around Cat, because she does that a lot.

Neither of them made any attempt to move, and even if Harry had wanted to, he couldn't, because when Cats laughing that hard she's like a deadweight. I don't think she wanted to move either, because she had wrapped him in a massive hug and wouldn't let go. I don't know anyone who is as strong as Cat when they're laughing. Most people go all weak and wobbly, but not her. I looked at the guys and rolled my eyes. I caught sight of Niall's face and he looked rather jealous. He caught me looking, so I winked at him and made him blush, then went over to pick Cat up (because I think I'm the only one who physically can.) Before I could get there, Zayn had his hands under Cats arms and started to pull her up. Then stopped because he couldn't do it. He motioned to Louis. He tried tickling her first, which only made it worse, then wrapped his whole arms around her waist and pulled, hard.

Nope, still no luck. Niall tried, but that didn't work either, because he looked like he was scared to touch her. The only one left was Liam. Now, I'm not biased or anything, but I think that he was probably the most... Physically capable. He tried talking to her first, then putting his hands on her ribcage to pull her up. I was about to feel jealous, but then I noticed Cat squirming even more. Ha. What he didn't know, was that Cat's most ticklish spot is her ribs. So that was a failure. Then they all just stood around metaphorically scratching their heads.

I sighed and said "Okay, my turn." I went over, but Liam grabbed my arm. Seems like he's not scared of me anymore. I turned to look at him.

"If none of us can lift her, what makes you think you can do it?" I feigned offence, dropping my mouth open and gasping.

I think I was wrong when I said he wasn't scared of me anymore. When I looked offended he looked a bit nervous again. I laughed and shook my head. "You know, that song I wrote could not be more true. You really don't know me do you?" And with that I left him with a confused look on his face and walked over to Cat and Harry.

"Come on Kitten, time to get up now." I put my hands under her arms like Zayn did, then pulled her to her feet in one swift motion. The idiots looked at me once again, with mouths open. I decided to quote one of my other favourite movies (that's more normal. It's a musical, you'll know it. There isn't a person in this world that doesn't. Mary Poppins. I know, it's very un-Jade-like.)

"Close your mouths boys, we are not a cod-fish." And with that, I grabbed Cats hand and walked off with a smile on my face (I really had to stop doing that, it's turning into a bad habit. I just can't seem to help it when I'm around them. They're just idiots that keep making me laugh with their stupid antics) The last thing I heard was Harry saying "A little help down here?"
