Chapter 15

*Nialls POV*

"You what?" Jade looked at me and I swear, the look on her face couldn't have been more strained if she were in actual physical pain. I know I shouldn't put her through this, because I know admitting her feelings is hard, but after what she put me through I think I have the right. And also it's just too funny to miss.

"I said I think I like Liam." She gritted her teeth as she said it. "Sorry what?" I asked her again. Okay, okay, I'm an evil person. "I-" Just the look on her face as she started to speak again was too much. I couldn't keep my laughter back any longer. "Hey!" She smacked my shoulder, but she was smiling now. She was so different from when she first arrived. "I-I'm sorry!! I j-jus-t couldn't he-lp it!" I was laughing like a maniac now, and I was pretty sure we were once again earning the stares from the entire room.

*Liams POV*

Okay, Harry and Anna still hadn't got back with the info on Niall, so I left Louis and Zayn to it. When I left they were busy on Mario Kart and Louis was calling Zayn a mirror-worshipping carrot. Yeah... I chose a good time to leave.

I walked around aimlessly for a while, not even properly looking for Niall, when I suddenly realized where he'd be. What does Niall love most in the world, even more than his mother?

FOOD!

I smiled at my own stupidity of not realising sooner, and at Harry and Anna not even thinking of it. I pushed open one of the huge double doors into the food-filled room and looked around, scanning for the bouncy blonde hair. I caught sight of him quickly, but I also noticed the raven haired girl with curls bouncing on her shoulders as she laughed. Suddenly Niall looked my way and the happiness and laughter left his eyes and was replaced with worry. He nodded his head towards me.

He subtly nudged Jade and said something. She immediately stopped laughing and stiffened. She turned to look at me. Even though we were almost a whole room away from each other, I could still see her clear blue-green orbs glowing back at me and I suddenly couldn't take it anymore. I felt my face harden and I turned on my heel and walked as calmly as I could back through the doors.

Through the general noise in the room I thought I could just about make out the sound of chairs scraping against the tiled floor. I didn't take any notice and just carried on walking.

"Liam!" Her voice called me back. I was about to turn until I heard "Hey, Liam mate!" Anger unfurled inside my chest and my hands clenched into fists at my sides. I carried on walking with new determination. I was so angry that I wasn't concentrating. I tripped over my own feet and my little error gave them the time they needed to catch up with me.

"What's going on mate?" Niall asked me. I saw this lad as a brother, and yet he couldn't even see the obvious?

"What's wrong? What's bloody wrong? I think that you-" I felt a small hand on my upper arm. "Liam?" Jade spoke in a soft voice. I've never heard Jade that quiet before. I guess she doesn't want to make me madder. Although when she first arrived she would have yelled at me by now.

I opened my mouth, but then I closed it again. I would be the better person. Again. What I wouldn't give to just freak out right now like anyone else. I took a deep breath, and said the words that nearly killed me.

"I hope you two are very happy together." I saw them look at other and with that I walked off. I blinked furiously when I felt my eyes start to fill up. I will not cry, especially in front of them.

I was about ten feet away from them when I heard "WHAT?" coming from behind me. I allowed the tiniest sliver of hope back into my heart, but then I crushed it. She'd never want me.

*Harrys POV*

For a while I just watched her lying there. She was beautiful. The way her pure white bikini contrasted against her tan skin. The way her blonde hair shimmered in the light. Her glowing skin and how her cheeks had the lightest tinge of pink across her cheekbones. Even the way the diamantes in her sunglasses sent tiny little rainbows flying everywhere. I just took it in.

She moved and lifted her sunglasses onto her head. When she saw me staring she raised one eyebrow. I blushed and looked away. I hate it when I blush. On girls it's cute, but on guys it's just embarrassing, even though some girls say they like it.

"What is it Harry? Do I have something on my face?" She sat up suddenly and put her hands on her cheeks. I chuckled at her reaction and gently pulled her hands away from her face. I kept hold of them.

"No. Anna?" She looked back at me expectantly. Oh God I had to go through with it now didn't I? When I didn't say anything she twitched her hand against mine. "Harry?"

I took a deep breath. "Anna, the time I've spent with you has been really special to me... And I was just wondering... If you wanted to be my girlfriend? " I was so hopeful, and I'd finally got it out.

"Oh Harry... I would," My grin stretched across my face. "But I already have a boyfriend."
