*Liams POV*

I can't believe it. I actually did it. I kissed Jade. And she kissed me back! I remembered the first time I saw her, the way her eyes flashed with anger, her dress sense bold and dark; Then compared it to now. Her face was set in a small smile and the anger that her blue eyes once held had disappeared and been replaced by a brightness that I loved. I took in the way her hair fell in soft waves around her face and neck, down her shoulders to the middle of her back instead of the tight curls she was so fond of. The dress was much more feminine, and overall I think happiness suited her.

Something caught the corner of my eye, distracting my attention away from Jade. I suddenly realized that after the kiss, we'd just been staring at each other. I awkwardly cleared my throat and stepped down from the stage, only remembering last minute to help Jade down after me.

"You look distracted. What's wrong?" My thoughts were interrupted again and I saw Jade looking at me intensely, with something that looked like nervousness. "I'm fine, but are you?" She looked down at the table we'd inhabited in front of the food table. She still hadn't answered me, and I didn't think she was going to at all. I was just about to speak when she beat me to it. She was so quiet, I almost couldn't hear her. "It's just, I've never kissed anyone other than Beck before... Well, apart from Niall." My shock must have shown on my face because she suddenly went all shy and wouldn't look at me. I hadn't really thought Jade was capable of being shy, before I got to know her. I'm starting to understand how her and Cat got so close after all.

"How about I go get us some drinks?" She nodded and I went to the bar. I poured some punch for her, grabbed a water for myself and headed back over to the table.

I reached out to give Jade her drink when Niall suddenly crashed into me, sending the drink flying over Jade.

Oh God, I'm going to die.

Jade slowly stood up, brushing the cup from her lap. An evil smirk appeared on her face. I could almost see the thoughts going round her head. I saw her look around for something, then she reached her hand behind her. The smirk suddenly turned into a grin as she splatted a handful of chocolate mousse on my chest.

"Hey hey hey, wait a minute! It was my fault cause I crashed into him." Niall was honest. And obviously very brave.

"Oh yeah, good point." Splat. And now Niall had a similar sized blob on his chest, except his was strawberry flavor.

"Right that's it! It is so on West!" He grabbed a handful of the nearest thing to hand, which turned out to be ice cream (slightly melted ice cream may I add), and bravely put it down the front of her dress. She let out a hiss as it dripped down her cleavage. I'm not really surprised though, it can't have been a pleasant feeling. She smiled and shook her head, then grabbed a bowl of jelly and shoved it down his pants! This was one intimate food fight.

The look on Niall' s face was priceless. He really should have known to run far and fast. But no, he stays and gets jelly shoved down his pants. He started jumping up and down to try and get the jelly out of his trousers. Cat came over then and a look of delight came over her face as she realised what was happening. "FOOD FIGHT!" For a girl so small, she had a hell of a loud voice.

Pretty soon everyone was covered in food and slipping on the messy floor, but the thing is, no one cared. Jade's dress was stained and her hair was ruined, and Cat was in a similar state, but they were having fun. Everyone was laughing and smiling, no matter what state they were in. Complete strangers were declaring war on each other and then collapsing through laughter. We even coaxed Harry out of his unexplained sulk and he was soon laughing alongside everyone else.

I have to say, it was one of the best parties I have ever been to. The funniest thing was when Anna walked in with some guy. The look of pure shock her their faces. Naturally, it was Jade who decided to break the ice, by crushing a cupcake on top of Anna's head. She gasped before letting out a loud laugh and joined in, grabbing two handfuls of sprinkles and putting one on my head, and then as payback to Jade, one down the front of her dress. Again. I think it might take her a while to get clean after tonight.
