of the group, and chaos was
bound to erupt.

if you're dry readers this chapter i'm making jude break up with elena and everyone will abandon her and she'll go depressed bc she's all alone and has no friends bc they all turned on her for a boy (wtf my mind waffled here... 👀👀)

ELENA WAS NERVOUS, TO say the least. she has told the group to stop by her house and meet miles; she knew how uncalled for her friends could be at times, as well as how much they liked making out of pocket jokes out of many situations and they tended to carry banter around with them like it was a key essential to live.

she didn't really know how miles would take it if someone unintentionally said something hurtful about him, and she could only hope they were on their best behaviour or else she was not afraid to have lewis hit them (though they would probably end up enjoying that anyways — especially trent, little freak.)

"what you thinking about?" jude wondered as he carefully wrapped his arms around elena's waist from behind, softly kissing the back of her head.

"they best like him," elena muttered, leaning back into his embrace and sighing in content.

"stop stressing," jude laughed, watching miles as him and rico were sat playing fifa together — the latter getting absolutely battered by the other. "if he's got rico's approval, then he has dani's, which means he's got trent's, and then he'll have chloe's, and then emily's — and if he has emily's approval, then he's got everyone's approval."  

elena laughed. "yeah, that's true."

"stop overthinking, because not only will you start stressing yourself out but you'll start stressing me out too," jude joked.

"okay, i won't," elena smiled, turning around in his arms to place a quick kiss on his lips. yet as soon as she did, the doorbell went off. instantly, she began panicking. "oh my god! it's them!"

"lena!"

"right, sorry!"

"I'LL GET THE DOOR!" rico screamed, sprinting past the couple as miles laughed whilst following behind him.

jude and elena shared a faint look, following after the two boys and smiling at the sight of all of their friends gathered in the hallway. everyone started greeting each other, yet the room soon fell silent, attention turning towards the teenager stood by himself at the side.  

miles noticed this, and frowned. "what? is there something on my face?"

"no miles, there's nothing on your face," elena sighed, jude chuckling softly.

"shut up, he's literally a spitting image of you," declan gaped, everyone agreeing with him.

miles whistled to himself and dozed off in his own world, disengaging out of their conversation. they watched as he twirled around in a circle, bumping into jobe who raised his eyebrows at him in utter amusement.

unfortunately for miles, his spinning only lasted for a couple of seconds before he got bored and turned back to face everyone else. they were all looking at him in silence.

"can i help you?" miles asked, swaying as he stood due to all of his spinning. he unknowingly started leaning against jobe and rico for support, both of whom giggled at him.

"are you high?" trent wondered, causing daniela to gasp and smack him on his chest.

"you can't ask that!" she scolded.

"why not? it's a genuine concern!" trent retorted as elena pursed her lips, looking over to see domi and levi biting back their laughs at the scene in front of them.

"you haven't even said hello to him," jude pointed out, his arms wrapped around elena's waist as she folded hers over her chest, the couple raising their eyebrows in perfect unison.

"oh sorry," trent turned back to miles, putting an overly sarcastic smile on his face as daniela rolled her eyes at his childishness. "hey!"

"hi! what did you ask i was again?" miles inquired, not having heard him the first time because of the fact jobe and rico were currently yapping in either one of his ears.

"high," trent repeated.

"hello!"

elena let out a loud laugh, seeing the innocent expression on her brothers face and the clear annoyance radiating off of trent's.

mason cackled. "i love him already!"

"come on, let's go into the living room," jude said with a laugh, softly grabbing miles by his shoulder and pulling him along with him as everyone made their way to elena's living room where they all sat around.

elena, of course, sat down next to jude with rico on her other side. she smiled when she saw emily and dominik sit down with miles, sensing that all of her friends liked him already.

"so miles," olivia started to say, sat with jack who had a dopey, big smile on his face — the poor boy probably didn't even know what was going on. "if you don't mind me asking, what's caused you to come and live with lewis and elena after so many years?"

"don't-!" elena tried warning her brother, but it was too late. he had already opened his mouth.

"my mum stabbed her boyfriend and then tried to overdose herself so she wouldn't get caught but it didn't work and so now she's in prison for life so i was sent to come live here!"

"-do that!" elena finished her sentence off with a sigh, originally wanting to stop miles from saying such a blunt answer that could cause the room to turn awkward. fortunately for them both, elena overthought about her friends big time.

"no way!" declan gasped.

"that's actually mad," phil agreed, yet no one in the room seemed all that disturbed.

"kinda cool though," emily shrugged, causing jobe and trent to each send her disturbed looks. "what? don't look at me like that!"

"say you've got a little accent going on," levi then said, seemingly fascinated. "is it american?"

"my moms american, yeah," miles nodded. elena couldn't hide her grin anymore and jude noticed, placing a delicate kiss against her temple before softly pulling her into his warm embrace.

"holy shit, same!" trent laughed, and dani found herself smiling at the sound. "and i don't like my mom either!"

"you lot bond over some weird shit," jobe stated, sharing a distant laugh with jude as the brothers shook their heads at the entire situation.

"you and elena look so much alike," lottie awed as she snapped her head back and forth between the siblings. simultaneously, they frowned at her. she instantly widened her eyes. "what the fuck, please don't do that. it's weird."

"do what?" they asked at the same time.

"THAT!"

"i'm sorry but being a hamilton must automatically mean you're good looking," chloe joked with a faint wink, and rico scowled as elena raised her eyebrows at him, causing him to bite his lip and look away.

"so from what i've heard, you grew up as soon-to-be step siblings, but you were actually just real siblings all along?" declan double checked, and when elena nodded at him he gasped. "no way!"

"are you happy to be here?" dominik questioned, nudging the boys shoulder.

"yeah," miles admitted with a nod, smiling at elena as she was quick to return it. "yeah, i am."

"cool shirt by the way! where did you get it?"

elena felt like she could finally breathe. rico hasted over to go sit with jobe, them talking to miles about anything and everything. she already knew those three would be good friends, and could feel herself start to relax as everyone else gathered around her brother and started up conversations with him, all acting like they have known him their entire life's.

"i told you," jude muttered, resting his head on her shoulder as she began running her fingers through his hair. "you were stressing for no reason."

"i know. no need to rub it in," elena jokingly rolled her eyes, and looked up at her boy once as he lifted his head up from off of her shoulder. "...can i help you?"

jude smiled. "yeah, you can."

she looked at him in suspicion. "with what?"

"i think you need to join me on a date this week to calm yourself down, you've been way too stressed lately because of the last minute touches to your album before it's released soon, and i want to be there for you," jude explained as she smiled at his words. but he awkwardly bit his lip as he started muttering his next part. "and i really just want to take you out on at least one date that won't be interrupted."

"i'd love to go on a date with you jude," elena said, kissing his cheek as they giggled together, only to then jump as a pillow was thrown at them.

"are you two done now?" chloe, the one who had thrown the pillow at them, asked. jude and elena could only stare at her in surprise and disbelief, utterly gobsmacked. "because we want to watch anyone but you but we need the password."

"oh right okay!" elena jumped up in search for the remote, but not before leaning down to whisper in jude's ear. "i'll plan this one, just come dressed all nice and smart," she patted his shoulder, walking away.

jude grinned to himself, looking down and kicking his feet. he then glanced up, catching sight of jobe who was giggling at him, causing him to widen his eyes and awkwardly whistle, looking away.

"simp," jude muttered with a shake of his head, emily agreeing with him as they laughed.

but it wasn't like that was a bad thing.
