Chapter 22

Jessica's POV:

"What?"

"Calm down."

"I'm trying."

"Riker, come on. Don't beat yourself up over this." He shook his head, as if he was trying to get the information out of it.

I just told him that Sofia doesn't like him and he's taking it..pretty well?

"Riker..are you crying?" I ask, suddenly feeling immensely sorry for him. He nodded, not even caring that I was a girl, watching him cry.

"You really liked her didn't you?"

He nodded, tears still streaming down his face. I hugged him tightly. "I guess we're together with this one. We both can't get who we like." I felt tears welling in my eyes.

I released from the hug and blinked quickly to stop myself from crying.

"Let's go out today. Get our minds off this." I told him. "A movie?" he asked, wiping his tear stained face.

I nodded.

Sofia's POV:

"You're going out with Riker?" "Yeah. We just needed some time together." Jessica said through the phone.

"Oh, together?" I ask. I then heard laughter. I rolled my eyes, "You just nodded didn't you?" "I totally did and was about to just now." she laughed.

"Well enjoy your date with Riker I guess." I hang up before she could say anything else.

"They're going on a date?" Ross asks. I nod, "They need some 'time together'" I sigh. "Why do I suddenly feel a pang in my heart?" he muttered.

"Cause you like Jessica more than a friend." I said dryly.

He looked at me in confusion. I sighed, "I know that; one because it's obvious and two because I feel the same way."

"You like Jessie more than a friend?"  he looked at me in shock.

I shook my head, "No. Oh my gosh no!" "There's nothing wrong with that Sofia, you don't have to hide it." he says.

My eyes widened, "Ross I'm not a lesbian."

Rydel looked at us as if we were going mad, saying to herself. "You've seen weirder Rydel. You've seen weirder."

"What could be weirder than this topic?" I ask Ross.

"You have to live here to know." he chuckled. "I don't know if I should be relieved that I don't live here or if I wanna live here."

He shrugged. "Why don't we hang out too? Let's go to a bar."

"We're not old enough." I told him. "Come on Sof, let's get them off our minds." he says. "By getting drunk? I'm not stupid Ross. How are we even suppose to get in a bar?"

"Not all bars check your ID Sof." he said in a duh tone.

I rolled my eyes, "You could drink as much as you want but I'm not gonna." "So you're coming?" he asks.

I slowly nodded, "I have nothing else to do."

----------------------------------------

Jessica's  POV:

"Weird how Sofia thought we were on a date." I shrug.

Riker frowns. "I'm sorry Riker, I should've never mentioned her." I apologize. He nods, the frown still on his face.

"Let's just go and watch the movie." he says softly.

---------------------------------------

Sofia's POV:

"I can't believe they let us in without checking our ID."

"I told you so." Ross smirked. I rolled my eyes, mentally scorning all the drunken people surrounding us.

Ross holds unto me and we make it to a seat. "Thanks." I smile.

He nods. "What do you kids want?" a waitress asked, eyeing Ross. I scoffed and made my order along with Ross who was obviously extremely uncomfortable.

"That was disgusting." He pretended to puke.

I chuckled, "Really? I think y'all would make a cute couple." He frowned. "I'm sorry, I probably shouldn't have mentioned couple since you like Jessica and can't have her."

He rolled his eyes, "Thanks for that detailed description of how much my life sucks.'"

"Enjoy." the waitress said. "Eww." Ross said as he picked up his drink. "What?" "She put her number on my glass."

I burst into laughter. "Your life really does suck."

"Are you just gonna drink water the whole time we're here?" Ross suddenly asked. I nodded, "I'm not getting myself drunk just because I can't be in a relationship with Riker."

Ross shrugged.

"Plus, it's my fault for not telling him how I felt. Now he's with Jessica." I frown. "You know what Lynch, pass me that glass."

He smirked ad handed me his cup and I took a gulp of the clear liquid.

It didn't burn like people have said and what I have read. It's normal and actually pretty disgusting.

"Hey, bring some more of these." Ross says to the waitress.

She nods with a wink.

--------------------------------

Jessica's POV:

I felt a vibration in my pocket and pulled out my phone.

Riker looked at me. "It's Sofia." I mouth to him. He nods and I answer the phone. "Sof?" "Hey Jess. You know you're my best friend and I love you right?"

"Sof? Are you alright?" I whisper.

"I'm fine. No no no. I'm great. I feel like..I feel like...hello?" "Sof, what's going on? Where are you?" I ask.

"Calm down party pooper. I'm just chillin with Ross like you're chillin with Riker." she told me.

"Where are you?" I repeat. "We're at the Cheesy...the Meezy..umm..bar." she slurred. I should've figured out that that's the reason she's acting like this.

"Why are you at a bar Sof? You're not 21."  I scold her.

"Jeez. Don't be such a mom." she groans and suddenly she giggles. "What's so funny?" She doesn't respond.

"Sof did you just nod?" She still doesn't respond.

I sigh, "I'm coming Sof. Don't drink anything else." I tell her and hang up. Riker looks at me, "What's up."

A typical Sofia remark would be 'the ceiling' but there's no time for that.

"We have to get Ross and Sofia at a bar." I say as we exit the movie theater. "What bar?" "The Meezy bar is what I think she said or the Cheesy bar."

"I think she meant the Freezy bar. I know where that is. Let's go." he said, jumping into the car.

------------------------------

Sofia's POV:

"Hey, you should dance." Ross told me.

I shook my head, "You already got me drunk." I giggled. Why am I giggling? "Come on, pull up that skirt-" he pulls it up till it's really short and close to my butt that it's best that I just took it off. "-and unbutton that shirt-" he unbuttons two buttons from my shirt so my bra shows.

"-and lastly, take out your hair from that ponytail. Get loose!" he pulls the headtie out my hair.

"Ross.." I groan, "You turned me into an average slut." I giggled. He shrugged, he seemed to be doing that a lot lately.

A guy whistled and looked me up and down as he walked past our booth.

"Yeah, but you got hella more attractive." Ross told me, "Now go dance." I sigh and go off to the middle of the bar where people are dancing and start to 'dance'.

"What are you doing?!" Ross yells. "Move your waist some more!"

I nod and do what he says and soon a guy is behind me holding my waist. I shrug him off and continue to dance by myself.

I may be drunk, but I'm not stupid.

A next guy came behind me and I didn't even bother to make him move. I just kept dancing. Ross sent me a thumbs up as he gulped another drink.

The waitress passed with some drinks and I rudely snatched one out of her hands and began drinking it.

She didn't even seem to care and continued on with her job.

---------------------

Jessica's POV:

"I can't believe she got herself drunk. Under aged especially. She could be in serious trouble if she gets caught."

"So can Ross but there must be reasonable explanation." Riker shrugged. "We have to come up with a plan. When we get there. You snatch Ross and I and snatch Sofia and we meet back here and go home." I tell him.

"How about we talk to them first. See why they came here." Riker said.

I gave him a look, "We could hear their stories when we bring them home."

He sighed, "Let me atleast get Sofia and you get Ross." I sighed and gave a nod, "Yeah, sure. Doesn't really matter. Once they get home."
