Squinting

Izaya sighed as he sat on the top of the slide looking up at the sky. It was the only thing he could look at and clearly see. The blurriness wasn't going away and it was affecting his life; both personal and work.

'How am I supposed to be an info broker if I can't even read my computer screen without squinting?' He sighed again. Izaya continued to look at the sky, but was soon knocked off the slide.

Furious at who had knocked him off, Izaya looked around for the culprit and spotted a slightly dented trashcan laying not to far from him. Realizing who it was, the raven-haired male looked in the direction of which the container came.

"You seem to like getting hit by trashcans, eh Izaya," Shizuo walked up to the slide, a small growl in his voice.

"Maybe," Izaya didn't take his eyes off Shizuo. "Or maybe you just have better aim with them." He smirked, ready for a comeback in the form of something being thrown. Instead, Shizuo stared at him with a questioning look.

"Are you...squinting at me?" Izaya soon realized what he was doing and tried look at the blonde normally, but was failing miserably.

"N-no!" Shizuo walked closer and Izaya was just able to see him without needing to squint.

"Is your eyesight all right?" His voice was filled with concern, which annoyed the smaller male.

"Of course it is, Shizu-chan!" He quickly lied. "What would give you that idea?"

"Well, for one, you were just squinting at me; two, your reactions are slower whenever I chase you; and three, you're apologizing to inanimate objects whenever you bump into them," Izaya turned around and started walking away, not even bothering to look at Shizuo.

"You're being ridiculous, Shizu-chan," Izaya said. "My eyesight is perfectly fi-" He was soon cut off as he banged his head off the shorter pull up bar.

"Okay, I'm taking you to Shinra's," Shizuo grabbed Izaya's hood and started dragging him along. Izaya quickly escaped and started walking by himself.

"I told you, Shizu-chan, my eyesight is fine. Besides, I can walk by myse-" He was cut off once again as he walked right into a tree. Shizuo stopped and gave Izaya a questioning look.

The info broker stepped around the tree, rubbing his forehead. He looked up at Shizuo and sighed in defeat.

"Alright," he admitted. "I may have a slight problem with my eyes."
