Black Jealousy Part 1

Izaya stood in front of the window, his hand gently placed against its cold surface. He and Shizuo had been together for just about two months now, and Izaya sometimes found himself subconsciously standing in front of the window. He wasn't quite sure why he started doing it, but he found the coolness of the window's surface to be quite calming whenever he got anxious about Shizuo.

Finally releasing a relaxed sigh, Izaya turned away and made his way over to the couch. Just as he sat down, Izaya heard the lock on the front door click.

'Weird,' he thought, confused. 'It's a bit early for Shizu-chan to be home.' Instinctively turning his head as he heard the door close, Izaya heard a voice that filled him with panic.

"Well hello there, Izzy~ I see you've been doing well." Izaya immediately leaped off the couch and started backing towards the window.

"Wh-what are you doing here, Kuro?" he asked. "H-how did you get in?" He heard a chuckle and felt a slight breeze before feeling someone bind his arms behind him.

"My my Izzy," Kuro's breath brushed Izaya's ear. "We have much to discuss." Izaya felt a cloth get placed over his nose and mouth. He struggled briefly before succumbing to the chloroform.

"Izaya, I'm home," Shizuo called out as he closed the door behind him. All he heard as a response was silence.

"Izaya?" He looked around the living room, but didn't see the raven-haired male.

'He's probably just busy reading,' Shizuo thought as he started to walk to the study. He stopped once he saw that the door was wide open. "What..?" 'Izaya always has his study door closed when he's reading.' Starting to panic, he quickly checked the rest of the apartment. No sign of his blind boyfriend.

"Maybe I just missed a call from him," he checked his phone for any missed calls. No new calls.

"Th-there's no way he just disappeared, right?" Shizuo asked aloud, panic fully setting in. Just as he was about to run out the door, he noticed a note sitting on the kitchen table. It was hand written, so he knew it wasn't from Izaya.

"I must congratulate you. You really have him trained. He was never this calm when I came home to him.

"Anyways, if you truly love him and don't want him to die, I suggest coming to the old hangout of the Yellow Scarves. Alone.

"Don't leave me (or Izaya) hanging~

"-Kuro"

"That little-" Shizuo crushed the letter and ran out the door.

Feeling a dull ache in his head, Izaya groaned as he came to. However, he also felt his body tightly bound by rope and suspended above the ground. Unable to determine how high up he was, Izaya felt his anxiety and fear spike drastically.

"Ah, I see you're awake," Izaya froze in fear once he heard Kuro's sly voice.

"Wh-what do you w-want from me?" Izaya stuttered.

"I just want to talk, Izzy," Kuro replied. "We have many things to discuss. Well, actually it's more just one thing. A little rumor that I want to confirm."

"And what rumor would that be?"

"The rumor about you and Shizuo being a thing now," Izaya gulped as soon as Kuro's voice grew dark.

"Wh-why would you care? We're not-"

"Not what?" Kuro interrupted. "Not together? Heh. Don't make me laugh. You think that just because we broke up, because YOU left ME, that you no longer belong to me?" Izaya felt a shiver run down his spine.

"That's exac-"

"You're still MINE!" Kuro snapped. "You WILL return to me. One rule about dating me is that I never let go. NEVER. You are still mine, Izaya Orihara. YOU STILL BELONG TO ME!"
