'It has been two weeks since steven first summoned his shield and The Crystal Gems have never been so energetic about somthing, Pearl has been constantly stating how proud she is of Steven While Amethyst simply thinks it's "Cool" Garnet has been as calm as usual however she does take pride in knowing that steven is growing up rather quickly, she dosent say it but she is proud of the young human/gem hybrid, that's why after a brief reprieve due to the whole red eye attack Steven has been allowed to accompany the Gems on a mission, They are on a journey through a mountainous looking area after using the warp pad, the journey itself has been rather calm much to Pearl's enjoyment'

Amethyst: "ugh why did I have to come again? This is so boring"

Pearl: "I think this is rather nice, it is a welcome change of pace from the usual chaos that ensues on our missions"

Steven: "Pearl's right! It's so cool out here! It's like a different planet!"

'As the Three continue their conversation Garnet looks around admiring the peaceful location while also looking for any form of irregularity. Eventually the group ends up walking through a small wooded area along a trail, the tree's seem to stretch to the sky'

Amethyst: "Somthing's off with this Place, its kinda freaky"

Pearl: "Oh what nonsense! Its absolutley stunning out! We never get a mission where we can enjoy our surroundings!"
'Pearl says as she looks around happily'

Garnet: "No, she's right somthings wrong here, the trees look damaged" 'Garnet says as she walks over to one of the large tree's all of the branches on one side of it have been either torn off or bent as if somthing crashed into them'

Steven: "Yeah they sort of look like somthing crashed through here"

Garnet: "Let's continue, I'm sure there is somthing out here so be on gaurd"

'The group continue walking with steven now behind everyone else, as they get deeper into the forest more and more damage becomes apparent, although it looks over grown at the same time, the Group eventually stumble upon what looks like a large cave covered in moss and vines'

Steven: "woah cool cave!" 'Steven says with stars appearing in his eyes'

Garnet: "Wrong, this isnt a cave"

Pearl: "What do you mean?"

'Garnet walks upto the opening and brushes part of the moss and dirt away revealing some sort of metallic wall, it looks extreamly advanced yet it looks like it has been sitting for years'

Amethyst: "What is this then? I mean we've been to this place before right?"

Pearl: "Yes we have, so that means we've just been walking past this place everytime.." 'Pearl says clearly uneasy as she examines the metal wall'

Garnet: "I cant say for certain what it is, but it looks to be some sort of ship, its hard to tell since this isnt gem tech" 'Garnet says before walking into the opening of the vessel, the sound of her footsteps changing from soft steps on dirt to loud metal clangs with each step'

Steven: "Hey wait up!" 'Steven yells before running to catch up with Garnet'

Pearl: "Steven!"

Amethyst: "Oh here we go"

'The two remaining Gems then run to catch up with Steven and Garnet, when they catch up with then Garnet is walking at a faster pace that seems to have purpose behind it'

Pearl: "Garnet! What's going on? Did you see somthing?"

Garnet: "No I didnt, something about this Place is just...telling me we need to be here" 'Garnet says in a confident voice'

Pearl: "Now that I think about it somthing about the design of this structure seems familiar" 'Pearl says earning a nod of agreement from Garnet'

'As the Group continue to walk they eventually Cross a hallway lined with pod like structures each one having a window and some form of touch screen next to them'

'Amethyst walks upto one of the pods after shape shifting herself to be slightly taller as to see in through the window'

Amethyst: "Uhh hey Pearl?"

Pearl: "What is it Amethyst?" 'Pearl says as She and Garnet look at a touch screen causing it to light up'

Amethyst: "Are these things supposed to have like, metal skeletons in them?" 'Amethyst asks causing Pearl to stop what she is doing and turn around wide eye'd'

Pearl: "What!?" 'Pearl says rushing over to Amethyst'

Steven: "Guys? What's wrong? What even is this Place?" 'Steven asks earning no response from the preoccupied gems'

'Pearl leans in to see through the small window on the pod, on the inside is a robotic looking skeleton with Flakes of rust covering it, it seems to be missing various parts as if its decayed, the back of the head is attached to a array of wires and tubes'

Pearl: "There's no way this can be possible...it shouldnt be possible!" 'Pearl says rushing over to another pod and checking inside only to have the same result'

Steven: "Pearl what's wrong?!" 'Steven asks as Garnet leans in to look at the touch screen her fists clenching angrilly'

Pearl: "This ship. It's a Metamorin ship!" 'Pearl says clearly in distress while Amethyst simply looks in awe at the surroundings'

Steven: "Amethyst do you know what she's talking about?" 'Steven asks clearly worried'

Amethyst: "I mean...kinda? All I know is what your mom told me. The Metamorin's were apparently another type of Alien that helped Rose during her rebellion" 'Amethyst says rubbing the back of her head in confusion'

Pearl: "But I thought they we're wiped out! Rose said she lost contact with the last ship she had seen!"

Garnet: "It says they've been "landed" here for over eight thousand years!!" 'Garnet says clearly frustrated as she punches the screen which seems to cause no damage to it'

Amethyst: "So what? They're all gone" 'Amethyst says in a shrug clearly not caring very much'

Pearl: "If we had just found this Place sooner maybe we could have helped them! They did so much for us back then" 'Pearl says on the verge of tears clearly very upset while Garnet takes a few deep breaths to calm herself'

'Amethyst looks around noticing Steven had dissapeared, causing her to begin to freak out slightly'

Amethyst: "Yo Steven! Where you at?" 'Amethyst yells out causing Pearl and Garnet to snap out of their respective states while still looking moderately distressed'

Steven: "Guys! I think I found somthing!! This pod's different" 'Steven yells his voice echoing through the metal ship'

Pearl: "Dont touch it!" 'Pearl yells as the three Gems run full tilt towards Steven's voice'

'The Groups eventually arrive at Steven's location finding him looking up at a larger Black and green pod, the pod is engraved with some form of symbols'

Pearl: "Well you were right, this pod is different, What does it say Garnet, if I recall you could read Metamorin" 'Pearl says with a sigh as she wipes her eyes momentarily'

Garnet: "It says "prototype A-12" the rest is too faded to read" 'Garnet informs as Amethyst begins to fiddle with the touch screen beside it'

'Pearl sighs loudly before she steps upto the pod, she looks in through the window squinting her eyes due to the lack of light, her eyes widen as she takes a step back'

Steven: "Are you okay Pearl?" 'Steven asks worriedly before Pearl leans down to him'

Pearl: "Steven I need your phone, i need its flashlight" 'Pearl says quickly causing Steven to panic momentarily before handing it to her with the flashlight turned on'

'Garnet has been standing silently while Pearl shines the flashlight through the window'

Pearl: "Oh my stars!!" 'Pearl shouts in a mix of relief and terror'

Amethyst: "What? Is somthing actually in there?" 'Amethyst asks confused earning Garnets attention'

Pearl: "There's one in there....I dont know if its alive but one of them is in there!!" 'Pearl says falling to her knees as Garnet stomps past her and upto the pod'

Garnet: "Amethyst check the vital signs"

'Amethyst does as she is told while Steven hugs a distressed Pearl attempting to comfort her'

'Amethyst's eyes widen as a slow beeping sound comes from the touch screen, a vital sign is shown flashing red with each beep indicating the sign is very weak'

'Pearl looks up in shock as she hears the beeping, she stands up as Garnet summons her Gauntlets onto her hands and grabs the pod by the hinges, she then begins to strain herself before the door is ripped off the pod and a figure a few feet taller than steven falls out of the pod with a loud mechanical thud'

'Pearl quickly leans down to the figure shining the phone's flashlight onto it'

'What appears to be a human is laying down on the ground with dirty Black hair and a pale skin tone as if it had suffered from blood loss its left arm is missing all the way up to the shoulder and its head has a portion of the right side missing aswell, sparks can be seen flickering from the wires hanging out from its wounds'

Garnet: "It seems we weren't too late to help" 'Garnet says reaching down and picking up the small figure as Steven watches in awe at the sparking figure'

Pearl: "We have to get them back to the temple and dress their wounds! They've been sitting here for eight housand years so we need to be quick!" 'Pearl says as her and Garnet begin to run out of the ship followed closely behind Steven and Amethyst'

Steven: "What is happening?! What's going on can someone please explain?!"

Pearl: "We will explain when we get back to the temple for now we have to hurry!" 'Pearl says quickly as they continue to run to the warp pad'

'Shortly after pearl says that a Gem monster breaks through the ground beneath them roaring loudly, Pearl simply pulls out her spear from her Gem and fires a beam of energy at it angrilly'

Pearl: "GET OUT OF OUR WAY" 'Pearl yells causing the Gem to poof as the beam of energy collides with it, she quickly bubbles the gem and sends it to the temple before catching up with the others'

'They make it back onto the warp pad and step on it, the pad begins to glow before shooting a beam of light into the air as they warp away'
