Note: I should warn that this chapter (towards the middle//end-ish) there is a but of fluff. Not all the way but just a bit. So read at your risk and I'll put "••••" warning before the fluff will start there. It's not much but I should warn.

It was a few weeks since we came back from our holiday. Draco and I would keep our distance but then would steal each other any chance, especially when no one was around. Then go back to being distance for a few days then, come again. Even when we were distant, he would still summon me to comfort him when he needed it.

That happened about three weeks in and now it was we could. I didn't ask what was bothering him so when he needed it I was there in a heartbeat. He kept telling me not to leave him so I didn't. I was there for as long as he needed for him. Even if it meant that I came to class a bit late. Which Snape didn't like so I tried not to be late for the dark arts.

A few weeks had turned into months and in early february. I was in the common room, working on my assignment. And studying for my Owl's when an owl had flew in and drop a small note on my lap. I opened it and read that Draco wanted me to meet him outside the room of requirement. I gathered my things, taking my jumper in my hands and taking my bag I then headed over, making sure I wasn't followed. When I found him he was leaning against the wall looking at the ground before looking up at me.

"What are we doing here?" I asked him.

He gave me a small smile, took my hand and lifted his other brushing my cheek with his thumb.

"Thought we could both get away for a while."

He step in front of the room of requirement, still holding my hand and suddnely we were inside. I look around and notice there were things scattered and piles up to the ceiling that seemed like a mile high.

I felt him pulling me into the room and we took differnet turns until finally we reach somewhere, there was a blanket spread out with a few pillows. Draco sat down and I sat beside him. We were quite as usual. I pulled out my work trying to make sure I don't fail my owls.

"Nervous?" I heard him ask me as I look up at him.

"Terrified." I admited. "How did you deal with the stress when you took your OWLS?"

He smiled slightly. "It was all easy for me."

"Why is not surprising."

"You just need to beileve yourself, trust your gut and you'll be fine."

I leaned over and kiss his cheek, which made him smile a bit more. "You smiled. I think that's the first."

"Don't get use to it."

I smiled but I notice a small flicker of a spell he put over himself. I grabbed my wand and removed my spell much to his protest but when I did I saw the bags or purple under his eyes, that said he wasn't sleeping. And the skin pale which meant he wasn't exactly eating.

"Draco..."

"You shouldn't see me like this."

He turned around, his back facing me. I moved closee and wrap my arms from behind him, I place my head on his back feeling his body relax a bit.

"When was the last time you slept?"

"Recently? Not much."

I pulled back and fix up some pillows. "Laid down." I instructed.

He didn't fight me, but it did look like he was going to. He laid down on his back and I laid down on my side as his arm wrap around me immediately and pulled me closer. My head was placed on his chest as I look up at him. "Get some rest."

"Darling...."

"Get some rest." I said again. "I'm not leaving you. Besides today is saturday, there's no classes. My brother gone off to Hogsmeade and it's twelve in the afternoon. You're lucky i brought something to eat as well. So get some sleep and then you eat. Please."

He lifted his other hand and brushed my hair back. "I don't deserve you." he whispered. "You're too good."

"I'm not good Draco." I loosened his tie a bit. "No one is good of evil, it our actions that make us who we are. Some of us just choose not to let the darkness take over entierly, even if others are. But I believe there's redemption in everyone."

"You won't leave?"

"No."

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, I look back around the room and look around. After a few moments I heard steady breathing coming from Draco, and very light snores. I smiled and reach over to grab my books and got back to reading without leaving his side.

Even though it was hard to write laying down, I managed. Everyone else may have given up on him but I wasn't. Yes there was something going on, but I wasn't ready to fully accept that he had turned into complete darkness.

After about forty minutes of studying I felt my eyes sleepy. I yawned and placed my things aside before curling up next to Draco, with one hand on his chest. I shut my eyes and fell asleep almost immediately.

I woke up and look at my watch that I had and saw it was almost three. I raised my hand to rub my eyes when I felt someone pulling me closer.

"How long have you been awake?" I whispered placing my head against his chest.

"Not long." he whispered into my hair.

"Did you sleep well?" i asked looking up.

"Much." he said opening his eyes and looking down at me. "And I have you to thank."

I smiled and leaned, placing a small kiss just below his jaw.

"Hungry?" I asked.

"Do I have a choice?"

"Depends. Have you been skipping meals as well?"

"At times." he leaned his forehead against mine, while brushing my hair back and leaving his hand to cup one side of my face, while his thumb stroke my cheek. "But I don't want either of us to move."

At that I notice our legs have been intertwined, our bodies pressed closely to one another.

"Fine." I said wrapping my arms around his neck.

We were quiet for a while then there was a loud crash in the room. Making us both sit up and look in the direction where the noise came from. Both of us had grabbed our wands.

"Draco..."

"Come with me." he whispered softly taking my hand.

I followed as we walk slowly going through the room. Draco lead us to a pile of things before bring me to it and looked at me. "Stay here. If you hear anything suspicious leave."

"Drac.."

And he left. I held my wand out waiting and not moving. There was nothing, my heart began racing as I was gettin worried that something or someone was also here with us. After a few moments he came back.

"Old rotten chair, gave out and a lantern collapsed." he said looking relieved.

"This place is starting to creep me out."

He nodded. "Let's go."

I was in the library working on my homework adn studying for my owls. It was late and it was almost time for dinner. There was very little people left as everyone went to get ready for dinner. I heard someone walking over and taking the seat beside me.

"I've been trying to find you."

I look up, placing my quill down. "You know I've been trying to studied for my owls."

Draco gave me a small smile and then his eyes look around. "Can we talk privately. Please."

I glance around and saw someone in the corner of the library, that look like Hermione and Neville but they weren't paying attention. I grabbed my things and went with Draco to the Invisiblity section of the library, where no one can see.

"What's wrong?" I asked him hugging my books close to me as Draco leaned against the bookshelves and sighed.

He closed his eyes and let his bag drop to the ground as he ran his hands over his face. I place my things down and place an hand on his arm.

"Hey..."

"I'm useless." he muttered.

"No you're not." I told him, turning his head so he would look at me "Draco whatever is going on I can help, if you--"

"No!" he grabbed both my arms with such force, and his face went completely terrified. "No. no. no. you can't, I have to do this on my own. I dont want you involved is that clear?"

I knew what he meant. It was the unspoken thing that he wouldn't tell me. As much as I wanted to know what it was, because it was eating him inside and out, I didn't push on it. Just then someone walk into the section. They saw me and Draco as he continued to hold the tight grip on me.

"Let me go Malfoy." I told him as we were being careful with the slytherin fourth year that was here.

"Don't try it again."

I push him away and grab my things and walk away.

Heading to an empty hallway I heard someone running and it was Draco. He grabbed my arm and pull me into a empty classroom locking it. He toss his things on the desk and did the same thing to my things before pulling me into long passionate kiss. I instantly melted into it, wrapping my arms around his neck and running my hands through his hair.

Then he did something I didn't expect him to do. He walk us until my back hit a desk as he place an hand on the desk and place his other hand on my waist. Then I did something I didn't know I was doing. My hands slid back down to his neck as they move to his chest and began to remove his robe and placing it on the desk, which he didn't seem to mind. He pulled only a inch apart and I could feel his breath, our lips were barely touching each other as he moved his hands to unbutton the single button from my robes to take it off and placed it on the desk on top of his. Our eyes never left each others, just holding us there as the tension was getting thicker.

"Draco..."

"Yes darling?"

"What are you waiting for?" I barely heard myseld whisper but he heard me.

His hands cup each side of my face as he closed the gaps between us. It wasn't as rushed or demanding as he did when we first started just long and loving. It was a kiss that took your breathe away and took away your thoughts. He pulled away and look into my eyes.

"Stay with me tonight."

"What?" I said slightly confused.

"I'm a prefect, well half of one, I have my own room and... we both know I'm more relax around you. You can make up some excuse to your roommates and brother later, but I just..." his thumb slowly began to stroke my face. I wrap my arms around his torso as our eyes never left each others.

I pressed my forehead against him. "No funny business." I whispered.

"None."

"Alright." I saw a smile break on his face. It was rare ones that he had in long time.

"Everyone is at dinner so we should sneak in while its empty."

We grabbed our things and Draco had lead the way, keeping me in front of him at all times. We were sure to avoid students and for once I was bless that I had took Marauder map from my brother. He was obsessed with it, watching everyone's move like a hawk especially now. So Hermione thought it was a good idea that I held onto to it for a while. And right now it was in my bag. Had I left it in my room Harry would've just taken it.

When we reach the dugeons. Draco place his robes over me to hide my face and went to check the common room. He came back then we made our way to his room. I had notice no one was here at all. When we reach his room I went inside first and that's when we heard someone.

"There you are Malfoy." We heard Blaise say as I quickly went to hide behind the door.

"What do you want?" Draco replied.

"Everyone been worrying sick about you. Parkinson sent me to tell you to clean up your act or she'll report you to Professor Snape and have your prefect badge remove. I tried to tell her whatever you're doing was none of her business but she has gone bonkers, not to mention that she somehow convinced that you'd listen to her."

"Tell her to piss off. Snape already talk to me and she must be quite bold to threaten me. And she's none of my concern right now." Draco step inside as he glanced at me and then back at Blaise. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine."

"Maybe you should talk to someone Draco."

"I'm fine Blaise." and with that he slammed the door.

"You didn't have to be rude." I spoke quietly.

"None of his business." he began muttering a spell as I walk over to the small couch in the room by the fire and sat down. I place both our robes on the armchair and my bag on the ground beside me. "So no one can hear us." he told me after he finished.

He walk over and sat down beside me. He place his wand down as I reach over grabbing it, while lifting my legs to place them over his lap, and began inspecting his wand.

"It feels strange." I glance at Draco. "Have you been using it a lot?"

He didn't answer. He place one hand on my mid thigh which at first caught me off guard but then didn't bother me. I place the wand back down on the table trying not to think about Draco's hand on my thigh, in which his hand move down a bit to my knees and back up, his fingers making a pattern trailing my skin. A shiver went down my spine as I grabbed my book trying to get my mind off from what he was doing.

But a minute or so the book was taken from my hands as Draco look at me and, without breaking eye contact, toss it to the side. His hand went and rested on my waist as he pulled me close. I got on my feet as his other hand came to my right side and move me to sit on his lap, with my legs on either side of him. Not sure where the confidence kick in but I slid my hand into his hair and pulled him to close the gap between us. I could tell he was slightly taken back by it but then started following and meeting the passion. His hands move from my waist to my back pulling me more closer, I rested my one hand on his shoulder as my nail slightly were digging into his skin.

Draco's hands slid back down to my lower back and further down going to my thighs, his mouth was working on mine as he bit my lowe lip, which made me let out a small gasp as he quickly slip his tongue inside exploring every inch of it. The tip of his tongue touch mine sliding underneath, telling me to do the same to him. I pulled on his hair, pressing myself closer against him as I slip my tongue into his mouth which made him squeeze my thigh as I let out a soft moan. That must've been the brink of the point because he held my thighs tighter as he lifted us both off the sofa and moved us over to his bed. When his knees hit the bed he carefully laid me down. We broke the kiss trying to catch our breaths, panting heavily. My legs wrap around my Draco torso, as he climb over me and use his arms to hold his weight so he wouldn't crush me. My hands slid from his neck down to his chest and finally his lower torso. I suddenly had the urgcy to remove his shirt so I slowly untuck his shirt from his trousers watching my hands as I did so and began to undo all the buttons going up. When I finished I first removed his tie and drop it to the side, my eyes staring at his bare chest. I reach to touch him but pulled my hand back look up to meet his eyes, he had been watching me the entire time and wasn't fighting anything I was doing. In fact he grabbed my hand with his and place it over his heart as he leaned down.

"Do you feel that?" He said resting his forehead against mine.

He still held onto my hand that was now feeling his strong heartbeat. Not trusting my voice I only nodded and leaned towards him, brushing our noses together.

"My heart only beats for you, Davina. Only you. When my heart stops beating it's because you're gone. I can't live without you, I love you. Be mine and only mine."

I met his eyes as I slowly removed my hands and took his hand to place it over my heart, which was slightly over my breast. I saw that he was being cautious not wanting to do anything too far. I place my hand back over his heart and leaned up closer. Our lips millimeters apart, and eyes just savoring this moment.

"I love you too, Draco. No one else." I look into his eyes and smiled a bit.

He removed his hand and wrap it around my waist pulling my closer as we close the gap, returning to where we were. I had began to remove my cardigan and toss it aside then ran my hands through his hair.

Draco held onto my waist as he slowly turn us over so he was underneath me and I was on top. My hands trailed down to his chest feeling his skin.

I pulled away while he move down and began placing small kisses on my neck.

"Draco." I softly moan out. I felt my cheeks getting hotter once I did speak.

He chuckled and pulled away brushing my hair back. He must've seen my red cheeks because he smiled and place a soft gentle kiss.

"You're adorable my love."

"Shut up." I said nudging his arm.

"Have to say though," He pulled me closer as I was pulling away. "I did quite enjoy this."

"I know. Your little friend did too." my cheeks redden and felt more hotter when I said it because it was true. Still slightly embarrassed I said it. Draco's um... manhood had grew and harden and I felt it against my inner thigh.

"Bloody hell." He let me go as i go off to sit beside as he move off the bed.

"Draco..." I pulled him back as he sat back down. "It's alright."

He kiss me as he got up again. "I'm still going to be a gentlemen." he whispered as he went to his wardrobe and pulled out a shirt and walk over to me. "If you want to change." he said kissing the top of my head then heading to the bathroom.

I bit my lower lip as I walk over to my bag and pulled out a pair of black leggings. I let my hair go as I quickly changed out of my school clothes and put on Draco's black shirt and took off my knee length socks and skirt, changing into my leggings. After I was done I ran my hand through my dark red hair andd sat back down on his bed with my notes and books while using my fingers to comb through my hair. Draco had came back out wearing the same thing except he was in sweats. He crawled into the bed and wrap his arms around me, placing soft kisses on my neck.

"Get some sleep, Draco." I said smiling.

"Not until you stop studying."

I let out a small giggle as I turned my head and kiss him back. My eyes trailed down as his chest which was still exposed, I knew he was doing it on purpose.

"Like what you see?" He said still kissing my neck and moving his shirt that I was wearing so he can place small kiss on my shoulder.

"We said no funny business." I whispered back to him.

"I promise this is as far as I'm going." he said pulling away while raising his hand to brush my hair out of the way. "I don't want you to do anything uncomfortable."

"Who knew Draco Malfoy could be such a sweetheart?" I said smiling.

"Only for you my princess."

I place my books to the side and wrap my arms around his neck as he laid back and I snuggled up right beside him. "Fine you get your wish... my prince."

Draco

"Draco!"

"No!"

"You're a monster!"

"Its your fault!"

"Let me go!"

I woke up from an god awful nightmare. The only thing lit was the fire place, which was dying out. I was trying to catch my breath, then look down beside me and everything inside started to relax.

She was still here, peacefully asleep. Letting out a deep breath I pulled her closer, brushing her hair away from her face and kissing the temple of her head. She was here safe, alive, and safe.

I inhaled her scent memorizing it in my mind. Treasuring this moment, she was mine. And there was nothing that could take it away, Voldemort didn't have to know about this and I'm determined he never would. I was still doing his task, but if I was going to let this go soon... I need to treasure every moment with her.

"Draco?" I heard her whispering.

I look down as saw her barely awake half of her was asleep.

"Are you alright?" Her eyes slowly opening halfway, but had concern look all over.

"Bad dream, princess. Don't worry." I kiss her forehead.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No, it was nothing." I kiss her. "Go back to sleep love."

She had a small smile then turned around, her back pressed against my chest her hands sliding underneath the pillows, her legs moving to intertwined with mine. I smiled as her breathe went steady again telling me she was back asleep. She was mine at least now. It still scares me that she might not want me anymore, that once she finds out everything, she'll hate me.

I know she wasn't obviously, she sense when something was wrong. And yet even not knowing she still knows how to make me happy even when we both know the darkness coming to end everything that we hold dear.

There wasn't the slightest chance of a possible future with her. The dark lord wouldn't spare her, she would die protecting her brother, or Harry being dead would end hers. Even if by some miracle the dark lord lost and she was alive, I would have to pay for my crimes and Potter wouldn't let us have this. It wasn't possible.

So this right now, I'll take it.
