Draco

There was a loud scream coming from the cellar. Voldemort was torturing Ollivander for a reason why my father wand didn't work on killing Harry POtter. When he had return back into our home with a destroyed wand I saw how my father look ashamed and embrassed.

"I nearly had the girl." Bella said to my mother. "She's clever little wretch. But had I caught her, her brother wouldn't be far behind coming after the pity little thing."

I walk out before mother could give away anything. I went to the library and look out the window seeing death eaters everywhere, recovering from the attempt ambush. I spinned the ring again, five time and close my eyes.

She was still on the window still looking out. And she look beatiful.

"Draco."

I reopened my eyes and look to see my father. "The dark lord has called for everyone."

"Yes, father." And I followed him out to the dinning room.

Davina

I look around the room and saw Hermione walking in.

"A wedding?"

"I know it's silly." She came over and sat down in front of me.

"How are Ginny and Harry?" I asked her. "I know she's angry at him for breaking up with her."

"Well I beg to differ." she said. "Saw them snogging a bit in the kitchen."

I smiled.

"That's the first time you've smiled since..."

"Dumbledore's death? Draco leaving? Sonething tells me we're all going to get days like this for a while." I sat up and look at the ring and locket. I took them off and handed it to her.

"Davina..."

"Please."

She sighed and place it back safelty. I took it back and then put on my shoes. Hermione also got ready for the party.

Once we were ready we headed out while all the guest started coming in. We sat behind the Weasley and watch as Fluer walk down the aisle to Bill, they both exchanged vows and were pronouced husband and wife. I clap with everyone and smiled. Just one day, today, I'll be happy. I want to forgot just for today and enjoy this.

"Come on." Hermione said as we all walk to the tent and sat for dinner while the reception started.

"Hey." Someone said sitting beside me.

"Simon."

"How are you doing?" He asked.

"Fine." I said getting up to get a glass of champagne.

"You don't look fine."

"Really not important right now Simon."

"Look." he grabbed my wrist and I look at him. "I know I was rude and harsh about you and Malfoy. But he's a death eater Davina, how can you be okay with that? The things hes done.."

"Stop it!" I harshly whispered to him. I didnt want to hear it, because he was only making it worse. "Simon you are my friend and as my friend I need you to stop. I know what hes done but there still a chance. I'm not giving up on him when the entire world already has."

"You can do so much better than Malfoy, Davina."

"Like who?"

He hesitated then straighten up. "Me."

"Simon..."

"I've been there for you, and your brother.  I'm not like Malfoy where no else feeling doesn't matter. And unlike him I'm still here."

"Stop."

"I can protect you, he can't--."

"No." I look at Simon. "I know excatly what kind of person he is. I know everything hes done is nothing but bad. And I won't be with you because of Alice and because I don't feel the same way. I don't care of all of this leads me to be miserable and heartbroken for the rest of my life. I'm sorry Simon but that's my decision."

I place the champagne down and walk away

"You alright?" Alice ask me coming from the side.

"Fine."

"Why do you always lie?"

"Maybe because I beileve if I keep telling myself that, I'll actually beileve it."

"Well, I think we need to get your mind off of it." She said dragijng me to go dancing.

I saw Ginny and Harry dancing for a bit as everyone was happy. We let ourselves lose to the happiness and into the festivies just forgetting the darkness that was waiting outside of this day.

We were watching Bill and Fluer dance when something flew into the tent. It was a bright blue light where images of people were coming out before fading.

"The minstry has fallen." it spoke. "The minster of magic is dead. They are coming. They are coming." and the light went out.

"Alice." she grabbed my hand and we went to my godfather. That was then the first death eater that burst in. Everyone screamed and tryed to either escape or fight back.

"Davina!" I turned and saw Harry being pulled away with Ron.

I turned with Alice as we began fighting death eaters, I look once more back and  he was gone. At least he was going to be safe.

More death eaters showed up and then it was too much. Everyone was being killed as voldemort closet followers were here killing or scaring people, while some of the guest were fleeing. But they weren't here for the guest They were here for Harry.

Alice and I hide behind a table while a light exploded setting a table on the other side on fire.

"Run davina."

"Alice."

We hugged each other and she pulled away.

"I love you." I told her.

"I love you too."

They finally out numbered us and I place my wand into my locket like Hermione did with the ring. I felt someone pulling me away from everything and we ran into the fields.

"Duck." Remus said as Tonks and I did and he hit a death eater coming toward us.

We ran to the woods then mounted on our brooms. Tonks place a cloak over my head and we took off. Leaving the burrow behind and our friends.

Third POV

"They escaped!" Voldemort shouted pointing his wand at one of his followers.

"M-my-my L-l-lord, fo-forgive me."

Voldemort glanced behind to Greyback who killed the death eater instantly.

"Find the boy." he told everyone.

"My lord." Lucius step forward. "P-prehaps we should apporach it a differnet way."

Voldemort look at the older Malfoy.

"The girl."

"Yes." Bellatrix said. "My Lord we get the girl, the boy would come for her. She's the key."

"Prehaps there's hope for you yet, Lucius." Voldemort said. "Find both of them."

Harry, Hermione, and Ron were back at the black house waiting for kreature to return.

"Davina is going to be alright." Hermione said trying to get Harry to relax, but she knew it wasn't going to work.

"They're going to kill her." Harry said. "I have to find her--"

"No Harry!" Ron shouted stopping his best friend.

"They won't kill her." Hermione said puling him back.

"You don't know that--"

"If they kill her mate," Ron started. "You'll be harder to kill."

Harry froze. "What?"

Hermione and Ron look at each other. "She told us not to tell you unless you were going to do something reckless." Hermione said. "The connection between you two forms a magical link, if Davina were to die her magic becomes yours. Her life protects yours, just like your mother's love protected you."

"You both knew?"

"Only Hermione." Ron answered. "Then she told Ginny and me. We're the only ones that know. But if you die... she'll die too."

"You have to trust her Harry." Hermione said. "You made a promise."

Harry was angry, but not as much as he should be. His sister lied. But they weren't going to get her killed, Voldemort wouldn't like if he was more than he was."

"There has to be a way to break the link."

"There is." Hermione answered. "But only she knows. But she doesn't want you worrying about Harry."

"Let's find the Horcruxes."

Davina

There was nothing for miles, just the waves crashing against the rocky shores down below. I was walking along the cliffs, trying to clear my head from everything, and trying not to lose my mind. I couldn't do magic it was just to ease my godfather.

I had glamoured myself. I had green eyes instead of grey eyes, blonde hair instead of red hair like my mother. And all my scars were covered. Dora said no one could recongize me twice if they pass by. I was here with the order, but they left me here until they returned. Tonks was pregant and would be due soon. She told me she and my godfather were going to make Harry teddy's godfather, if we live through this.

I walk down the cliffs into the village to get something to eat. I walk into a store and got some food, paid and then walk out. I walk back to the cottage where I've been staying for weeks.

It was the last day of November now, I was already sixteen. And yet again I was alone on my birthday when it passed. But that didn't matter, at least not now.

"You alright?" Tonks asked.

I nodded and worked on dinner. My godfather had left to check on something, and I was helping and assting Tonks until her baby was born. We heard a pop and grabbed out wands only to see my godfather.

"Whipsnatch." He said giving the code word knowing we would be alert.

We lowered out wands and saw Mr. Weasley behind him. "Davina."

"Mr. Weasley." I went over and embraced him.

"We were worried for you my dear."

"As was I."

"Well I haven't gotten much time." Mr. Weasley said. "After this you all have to move again." We sat down and ate dinner as Mr. Weasley told us everything. Everything that has happened within the past two months.

"They broke into the minstry." He started. "Harry, Hermione, and Ron. They know to look for us now. Our whole family has gone underground, We couldn't get Ginny out, thought it was safer with her there."

"They were going for some sort of locket that Umbridge had." Remus continued.

"A locket?" they turned to me. "Was it like this?" I grab a pen and began drawing it out. I showed it to them and Remus and Arthur nodded.

"Do you know what it is?" Tonks asked.

"It's what they're trying to find." J explained. "Voldemort had spilt his soul into seven objects, horocruxes. Dumbledore and Harry figured it out last year with Slughorn. The locket is one of them, Harry destory one-- the diary that was possessing Ginny her first year, that was a horocrux. Dumbledore destroyed a ring that belonged to Voldemort. Only Harry would know where to look for the rest."

"That means they only found three." Remus said as we were finishing up. "We have to get moving. We leave tonight."

I pick up the dishes and took them to the kicthen. Get more moving.

It was chirstmas, and in the mist of all this hiding out. Remus and Tonks thought it be best we celebrate it. When Remus would need to shift he'd be gone for the whole week leaving me with Dora and then come back.
Remus and Dora were dancing in the living room with music playing. I smiled and while I was watching them I remembered christmas almost three years ago. The yule ball. Memories came back while I remembered dancing with Draco, my hand reach into the small bag I had and took out the pedant he'd given me.

I carefully place it back and pulled the blanket over me.

"Alright it's time to eat." Remus said.

We all went to the small dinning room where we enjoying lunch. We had a nice time. When I finished eating I got up to place my dishes into the sink. I glanced out the window and saw something moving. I look carefully and saw it again. Only this time there was a figure.

Remus grabbed me and pulled me back from the window and we grab our things. There was a loud popping noise coming from outside and we knew we were found.

"Come on." Dora said as we went to sneak out through the basement. The door slammed opened and I couldn't do this to them anymore.

"Remus." I said catching their attention. "I'm sorry."

"Davina."

I step back and closed the door. I ran out and upstairs seeing two death eaters right behind me. I shut the door to the room I stayed in and grabbed the bag that Hermione gave me with all my things inside and apparrated.

I was in a little town miles away from where I've been. I walk out of the alley and look around making sure I wasn't followed. I pulled out my wand and re-glamoured myself. I changed my hair to black and my eyes to the same color as well. I entered a abandone home and quickly changed into all black clothes, black long sleeve, black jeans, flannel, boots and tuck my wnad inside my boots which went to my knees. I step out and saw a cab apporaching. I called it and it stop as I got inside and told the driver to drive. I was looking out the window the entire time until we were into the city. I gave him a forgetfullness potion and wipe his memory of seeing me after paying him.

I walk around seeing people ignoring me. That was until I felt someone watching and following me. I walk past a shop and saw someone was indeed following me. Quickly thinking I turned into an alley and then apparated four streets down into another alley. I quickly pick up my pace looking behind my shoulder until someone grabbed me, covering their hand over my mouth and pulling me inside a home. I started fighting until they shut the door and pinned me aginst the wall, after turning me around.

He held his finger over his mouth as footsteps passed by outside. Our eyes lock onto each other never daring to move.

"Scatter, find her." I heard a death eater outside.

"Yes sir."

After a few minutes he brought his hand over to caress my cheek. His other hand went to my hair brushing it back.

"We have to move." He whispered grabbing my hand as I took my wand back. "Otherwise they'll be suspicious."

"No. Draco, you're not risking your life for me--"

"I can't let Voldemort have you." he said pleading. "Darling, I'm begging you."

I leaned up and kiss him. He was taken back but place his hands on my waist as I grabbed onto his jacket pulling him closer. I wanted to freeze this moment, stay trap here with him without having to worry about being caught.

"Draco..."

"Please... he'll use you to get to Harry."

I place both of my hands on either side of his face.

"I love you." I whispered. "But I can't let you do this for me. So either take me to him, or I'll fight and be captured by someone else."

He look at me. "Then I'll take matters onto my own. I can't lose you. I love you too much for you to go through everything I've seen."

"Draco--"

He kissed me as he raised his wand and I kiss him back and stop him. Before coming up with a plan of my own.

"I'm sorry."

Before he could process what happened, I apparated out of the empty place. I saw death eaters further down the street and ran.

"Over there!" One of them shouted. I ran into the park and saw a bridge that lead to the woods. I ran as they began to throw spells at me. I duck and ran quickly but stay covered by the trees. I continued running until something stunned me and I fell to the ground. I groaned as my leg hit a branch and got scraped. I quickly shoved my wand into my locket and tried to get up but only to got hit with another stun spell. I felt the pain and collapse on the ground, laying on my back then death eaters were standing over me.

"We've been looking for you, Miss. Potter." He said then pulled me up and that's when I saw Greyback, Rudolph and Bellatrix.

I heard running and saw Draco making his way.

"Baby Potter." Bellatrix said smiling. "What's this?" she wand her wand and  removed the glamour spell that was disguising me. "Shame you're not of age, it's almost too easy finding you."

She came over and grabbed my neck making me gasp for air.

"Where is Harry Potter? Hmmm?"

"I-I... I don't know." I gasped out. "We spilt up before his birthday...."

"Lies!" She shouted letting me go.

Greyback got me on my feet holding me so I wouldn't move. I tried breaking his grip but Bellatrix walk up along with Lucius, she handed her wand to Lucius as he look at me.

"Tell us where your brother is. Or you'll suffer the consequences."

"Do it!" I said glaring at all of them. "I dare you."

"I like her." Bellatrix said. "She knows how to play."

Lucis look at me and I saw the curiosity within his eyes.

"Kill me and Harry would never come for me." I continued. "He'll just come and destroy all of you." I glared at Bellatrix. "My life is link to my brother. If you kill me... he'll only become stronger, more powerful than you'll ever be."

Everyone look stun as Bellatrix strode over. "What was that?" She said digging her nails into my neck as she began chocking me.

"Dumbledore was smarter than you think." I said not showing the slightest bit of fear. "He figured out my father had tethered my life to my brothers,  and when your dark lord kill both my parents it only strengthen the bond. So Dumbledore forge it to where my life would become Harry's. My magic becomes his, my life protect his. Just like my mother's love protected Harry from Voldemort when he tried to get the sorcerer's stone. Nothing you do would kill him, it would be near impossible." I saw anger fuming in her eyes.

"Lies!"

"You don't believe me?" I said. "Ask Professor Snape. Everyone believed we've unlink but we didn't. Only Dumbledore knew better than you ever could. The night Voldemort came back, when you all made sure Harry was at the graveyard, when you nearly killed him I nearly died. Snape was there when he saw what happened, ask him."

I didn't care about what happened to Snape at this point.

"Barty Couch Jr. knew too." I said. "Pity he didn't tell you if you only killed me he would've died then."

Bellatrix had enough and grabbed me. She held a kinde to my throat nad began to press it hard gainst my skin.

"It's all lies."

I glared at her then kick her away from me. She drop me that's when I got the knife cut the ropes and then plunged it into me. I collapse and pulled the kife out, feeling overwhelming pain and coldness slowly taking over.

I woke up to find myself on the floor of the Malfoy manor, or what I assumed was.

"Ah you're awake." I look up and saw Voldemort coming towards me. I crawled back but he grabbed me and held me up. "My followers told me something very inserting, and I wouldn't have believed had it not been for your brother suddenly having the power that nearly kill Nagni."

I was shaking at this point, I don't know if it was from fear or the fact that I was cold.

"Care to elaborate?"

"You already know everything." I spoke softly.

He drop me as my side hit the ground harshly and I whinced from the pain.

"Surely there must be a way to undone this magic."

"Yes." I look up at build up my courage. "And I'm the only one who knows."

"Well you're in luck." he walk over as his blasik look at me. "Do it."

"I can't."

"No?"

"I hid the spell to do it." I was scared but I covered it with anger. "And you'll never find it."

"Crucio."

I screamed as I fell back to the ground and felt the pain overwhlemed me.

"Bravery will get you nowhere, Miss. Potter. She's all yours." Voldemorts said. "Get her to undo the spell. I can't have anymore interference, but if she dies. You and your family will pay dearly."

I saw Peter picking me up and dragging me downstairs to what I assume was a basement. I laid there not moving as my body was filled with pain everywhere.

"Davina?" I turned my head and saw Luna.

"Luna." my voice croaked out.

She came over and kneeled beside me. "Are you alright?"

I nodded. Slowly I reach my hand to my locket and felt something missing. My pedant. I panick for a moment then I realize it was in my bag. The locket was all I needed.

"Let's get you cleaned up." Luna said as she help me over to a blanket on the floor.

Draco

I was pacing in my room. Hearing her screams, which felt like daggers in my heart. I place my hands in my pocket and felt something inside. Looking down I pulled it out and saw a small bag. Davina. I opened it and reach inside and realize what it was. I pulled out something and saw it was the pedant I'd given her, the one with a protective charm cast on it. And also there was her journals and other possessions.

"Salazzar."

I went to hid it in a secert comparment of my dresser. I couldn't see her, but she couldn't die. I knew Loony lovegood would comfort her since they were friends and they were both down in the cellar. She would at least have company.

I place the pedant into the bag and closed my dresser, casting a blood spell so only I could open it. I knew it was only going to get worse from here. She got captured to protect those she loved. No doubt she was with people in hiding and she couldn't bare the thought of losing them. That's just who she was.

I should've brought her in but I couldn't. She knew that.

"Draco." I heard my mother knocking.

I walk over and opened the door to see her standing there.

"What?"

She step inside and I shut the door. "I know this is hard--"

"No you don't mother." I snap at her, and I didn't mean to but I really didn't want anyone's pity at the moment. "She's here because I couldn't bring her in. She told me either I bring her or someone else would. I..."

"Prehaps it was for the best."

I couldn't have my mother interfering. Now that she was here... "If you do anything--"

"I know. I wouldn't, your my son. We'll figure out a way." my mother walk out but I pulled out my wand.

"Oblivate."

I wipe all memories of me telling her about my love for Davina from my mother. I couldn't risk it anymore. I loved my mother but I couldn't lose her to protect Davina. This was the only way to save them both.
