After they calmed down, we found Murata just like in the anime.

Tanjiro put his hand in Murata's shoulder, making him jump.

"We've come for backup. Tanjiro Kamado, mizunoto rank."

"Mizunoto..Mizunoto?! Why didn't they send a hashira?! It doesn't matter how much mizunotos they send, it's pointless!"

Inosuke then punches the boy in the face.

"Inosuke!"

Tanjiro holds him back, but he was still grabbing a bunch of his hair.

"Inosuke, please don't hit him! And Y/N, please stop laughing and come help me!"

"Your existence is the pointless one! Now tell us what's going on, you spineless fool!"

"A crow gave us the order! Ten of us were ascending the mountain, but not long after we entered, everyone started to kill each other…"

The sound of strings being pulled appeared.

"What is this sound?"

"That's it! It's the sound that appeared before everyone started to kill each other!"

Demon slayers being controlled slowly started to appear from the shadows.

Murata was attacked first, he managed to dodge it.

Everyone then entered in battle position (minus me, since I'm not a swordsman) as the puppets swarmed at us.

"These guys are all morons! They don't know it's taboo for us to fight each other!"

"No! That's not it! They are moving strangely, they are being manipulated by something!"

"Okay! Then I will slash them to ribbons!"

"You can't! Some of them are still alive, and we can't harm the corpses of your comrades!"

Everyone then started to defend themselves from the attacks.

"Y/N stay close-"

I slash above one of the slayers, making his body fall limp on the floor.

"….to us?"

….there's something strange.

I'm holding my own well. Strangely well.

I can't really explain, but it's like my body knows exactly what to do with the sword, even though my mind doesn't.

Of course, my swings are nowhere as clean as Inosuke and Tanjiro trained ones are, but they are still strangely accurate for someone who never used a sword before, I wonder if it got something to do with what the that elderly lady said before.
