After nine days, they both successfully mastered it.

We excitedly go outside the mansion, seeing Haganezuka and Kanamori silhouette approaching.

Different from Tanjiro, he didn't really seem happy to see him and ran in his direction with a knife in his hands.

He chased Tanjiro around for one hour.

"Well, Haganezuka is a passionate artisan, his love for katanas is twice as strong as anyone else's. Oh, I'm Kanamori."

He starts to get ready to talk about his swords to Inosuke, but Haganezuka quickly interrupts him by putting a box in front of us.

"You are the girl with the mysterious breathing type, right?! Come on, unsheat it! I'm curious to which color it will turn in!"

…should I tell him that I can only use one of the forms, so the sword will probably not change color?

Even though I can't see his face, his aura is enough to tell that he will probably kill me if I try to tell him.

I carefully take the sword in my hands. I hold it for some seconds, and then the grey of the blade started to slowly fade into a bright blue color, and then, white spots appeared and started to mix with blue, making the sword look like it was made from a sunny sky.

"Wow! It's a really pretty blade!" Tanjiro comments, Haganezuka, who was punching him in the back, suddenly stops to look at the sword.

"IT'S A NEW BLADE!"

"A NEW TYPE OF BLADE! AND IT WAS WITH ONE OF MY SWORDS!"

I ended up losing the whole Inosuke chipping his sword in front of Kanamori ordeal, which sucks because I wanted to laugh about it in real life.

The three of us watch both of the swordsmiths leaving, one looking very pleased and the other…not so much.

While I was waiting Tanjiro to finish his check-up with Shinobu, I noticed a very familiar figure.

"Oh, Gen- I mean, hey you!" I stop myself, I almost called him by his name!

That's him, Genya!

Tanjiro did? Then he probably is already talking to Kanao now.

Kanao slowly took out her coin, she looks at it for some seconds before suddenly putting it back in her pocket without even throwing it.

"Are you and Y/N close?"

"Eh? Well, we do know each other for quite a while now… Do we look close?!" Tanjiro says, sounding weirdly happy about it.

"… Y/N is really nice, right?"

"She is, right?! And her smile is really beautiful too!"

Y/N couldn't handle the embarrassment, so she left, pretending she didn't see anything.

"Did something happened? Your face is all red." Zenitsu asks as he sees Y/N.
