I quickly get up to look around, hoping I was not too late, only to see…

Everyone…is still asleep?!

I- I woke up sooner than the protagonist?!

What I am supposed to do then? Should I wait for them to wake up or…?

Nezuko then suddenly gets out from her box.

"Nezuko!"

She looks at me in response, confusedly tilting her head.

"I- A demon put everyone under a spell, I'm going after it, so please try to wake everyone up!"

I can't stay here, I would look too suspicious if just lacked around doing nothing while waiting for Tanjiro to wake up.

Nezuko just made a confused noise in response as I ran to the train window.

Oh, Rengoku is still there, choking that girl.

FOCUS Y/N-

I put my head outside the window.

It's so fast!

I gulped as I grab the top of the window, swinging myself back and forth for impulse before jumping outside and landing on top of the train.

Where is Enmu? This little shit-

"Oh? You woke up sooner than I thought."

I quickly unsheathe my sword, glaring at him.

"Oh my, cautious, are we? But since we have enough time, why don't we have a small talk?"

"What would I even talk about with you?!''

"You know, I was really surprised when I accessed your memories…Multiples lives? That's impressive, I didn't even know which one I should make you dream about! Ended up sticking with the first one, tehee~"

"Then?"

"… My my, what a scary expression you are giving me! Since it made you so angry, should I choose a different life next time? What about that one where you were burned alive? Or that one were that man turned you into a demon, and you had to beg your friends to kill you? Oooh~ that was a fun one!"

As I approached his neck, a voice took me out of my anger.

"Y/N!"

That's right, I can't kill him yet!

In a desperate attempt to stop myself, I change the direction of my swing, making a cut on his stomach instead.

"Y/N?! Are you all right?!" Tanjiro exclaims, quickly running in my direction.

"… Yes, I am as fine as I can be."

"… Wha- what do you mean?"

"HahahaHa! You are so cute, Y/N! Obsessed with helping others, always restarting this cycle, you can't even save yourself, how could you save anyone else?"

"I- I was just-"

"There it is! The expression I wanted to see! I want to see you in pain more!"

Tanjiro just looked back and forth between me and Enmu, before changing his expression to a (very) angry one and starting to unsheathe his sword.

"You can't go stomping around inside people's hearts! I don't know what you showed to Y/N, but you will pay for it!"

Tanjiro ran in his direction, Enmu made him go to sleep, but he wakes up immediately after, this kept going on as Tanjiro got closer to him.

Damn, Tanjiro is terrifying when angry, constantly killing himself over and over again?! (who are you to talk-)

"MY FAMILY WOULD NEVER SAY THAT! DO NOT INSULT…"

His sword makes a clean slice on his neck.

"MY FAMILY!"

Enmu starts to turn into this weird meat thing, with only his head being recognizable.

"Jeez, you got even more gross."

"HahahA! Y/N is so cute~"

"Ugh… I hate you so much…" 

He turns his eyes to look at Tanjiro.

"I truly understand how master must have felt when he ordered me to kill you in addition of a hashira… Your very existence…grates on my nerves!"

Tanjiro face contorted in shock.

"There is it! The expression I wanted to see! But- As I thought, it really isn't as satisfying as Y/N's pained one… Well, since I am in high spirits, I will explain what's happening! It's so simple that even a baby would understand! That is not my main body! The same goes to what's talking to you right now! It looks like my head, but it isn't! While you both were deep asleep, I fused with this steam train!"

His smile got even bigger as he starts to explain more about what he did.

"This entire train, has become my blood, flesh, and bones! Hee hee hee! Your face…are you starting to understand? In other words,…the 200 passengers on this train are all foods for strengthening me further! They're all my hostages! Can you both protect them yourselves? All the humans squirming from end to end on this train… Won't you just leave them for me to eat later?"

Tanjiro once again tries to attack him, but he dived inside the train.

"ZENITSU! RENGOKU! INOSUKE! THERE IS NO TIME TO ASLEEP! PLEASE WAKE UP!" Tanjiro screams as he took my hand and started to run on top of the cars while screaming, trying to get the attention of everyone who was still asleep inside.

"NEZUKO! PROTECT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ASLEEP!"

We started to hear very recognizable groans, they slowly got more loud, like something was approaching.

"Graaarh!"

Inosuke suddenly jumps from inside the train, god knows how he got to make a hole in a thing literally made of metal.

"FOLLOW ME MINIONS! UNGAAAH! Head long rush! Lord inosuke coming through! Where's underling?!"

"Inosuke!"

Description : God of time. Control all timelines and is the one who's responsible for all of Y/N reincarnations.

Tried multiple times to reincarnate her in more safe worlds instead of the KNY one, but she always dies mysteriously before reaching 18 when he does so.

He cares a lot about Y/N, not romantically, btw.

Doesn't have a physical appearance, but does use a human form when communicating with Y/N to make her more comfortable.

Doesn't know how to interact with humans properly, he wants to help Y/N but because of the human's free will, he can't directly interfere with her life, that's why he got extremely weak when he healed her before.

Basically, all he can do is reincarnate Y/N in different points of time, he can make her re-start as baby or simply make her appear as a teen again, it doesn't matter.

Random fact to prevent plot holes : Every time Y/N dies, her existence is “erased” from the timeline, which is why she didn't appear in the manga even though she was originally born in the KNY world and partook in certain moments of the story.
