He started to recuperate in the butterfly mansion, sometimes, he would see Y/N walking around and interacting with Shinobu and the others.

Even though Kanao didn't speak to anyone else, she was really talkative around Y/N, and Shinobu didn't smell mad at all when she was talking to her.

She really was like an angel! Both inside and out.

One day, she entered in their room when Zenitsu was whining about his medicine.

"Good evening. I'm sorry for not coming here before, I thought I should check in you guys."

"… A.....a goddess?!" Zenitsu exclaims from his bed, his face completely red.

"You're the screaming one, right? I could hear it from the corridor." She silently says, approaching his bed.

"Taste apart, this medicine has a really long history, you know? It was made in a hurry by numerous people who wanted to help you and the others poison victims, everyone in the butterfly mansion worked really hard to produce it with the best intentions in mind, even if it's hard, please drink it, okay?"

"I WILL!''

"And you are Tanjiro, right? It would be nice to know your sister one day, since she was able to resist her hunger even after being a demon for so long, I'm sure she is a lovely person." She said, smiling gently at him.

"Y/N-sama! T-the master required your presence!" Naho said.

She turns back to Tanjiro. "You guys will probably start the rehabilitation training soon, I will try to visit when I can, have a pleasant day."

And she left, just like that.

Tanjiro was sitting in the ceiling, trying to meditate so he could keep up the total concentration breathing activated.

"Training hard?"

He jumped when the girl approached him.

"Oh, sorry."

"N-no! It's okay, you just surprised me!

"…. Mind if I sit?"

"No, d-do as you please!"

She giggled slightly at his flustered state, and sat beside him.

"Your friends gave up in training, didn't they?"

"Yeah, but when I master the total concentration breathing constant, I will teach it to them!"

"How nice of you." She said, turning to look at the sky.

It was a comfortable silence for a while, before she said: "I know it's a sudden question, but do you have a dream?"

"Huh? A dream?"

She nodded.

"….defeat muzan, and turn my sister back into a human!"

Y/N shook her head slightly with a small smile. "That's your objective. I meant your dream, you know?"

"I don't think I understand it…"

"Well, what do you want to do after you defeat Muzan then?"

"…. I…." He frowns for a second. "I guess it would be nice to have a family again…"

"You want to marry, then?"

"I- I guess so…"

"Pfft-"

"Don't laugh! I know it's embarrassing but-"

"What do you mean embarrassing? It's a beautiful dream. Everyone in the corps, all of them have incredible dreams too…."

"… What about you? What's your dream?"

"Me?..my dream…. I want everyone to be happy."

"I want to see everyone alive and well together, I want all of us to defeat muzan without losing anyone, and then see everyone realizing their dreams without the demons in the way."

"That's…a way more amazing dream than mine…"

It was the last thing that she said before she set off.

She died trying to save Kyojuro after that.
