You and Laxus lived together for a while now but weren't at home for a few weeks because the two of you went on a mission to earn some money to pay for the living. The night before you had a terrible nightmare about the quest you were on but your mind played some tricks on you alternating the ending showing you Laxus' death in front of your eyes and your own uselessness.

You were wimpering in your sleep and it woke him up. He was so concerned about what was going on with you during night Laxus was shaking you to wake up and constantly repeating:

"Y/n wake up, I'm here"
"I'm here, you are fine"

Once you were awake with tears in your eyes he left out a relaxed sigh and hugged you. He let you calm down and cry out if you want but he was tired since it was middle of the night and it took some strenght to keep himself awake with you in his arms. He'd facepalm himself in the morning if he knew you were crying or were unable to sleep if he went back to sleep before comforting you (sometime it happened and you brushed it off in the morning but he still felt embarassed about it)

In the morning after your nightmare he didn't leave the bed until you woke up first. He had you in his arms and was peacefuly naping. He wasn't really into the long sleep since he needed about 8-9h of sleep but he stayed in the bed because of you.

Once you woke up he still stayed in the position but slightly awake and waited what will you do.

You felt arms still around your body and slowly turned around. Laxus' face was so close to yours, his breaths reaching your face. He looked so cute and peaceful, your heart melted at the sight. Offguard you reached for his hair and it was soft so you decided to caress it a little. You were so entranced by the butterfly feelings you were surprised when a low but welcoming groan come from Laxus, did he know it was you or he was still sleeping?

You retreated your hand and Laxus swiftly caught it with his own, he opened his eyes and they stared at you.

"Morning beautiful"

"Morninggg, you didn't leave?"

"Nahh, I wanted to stay and wait till you wake up"

"Aww"

"Shhhh, lets rest for some more time in bed"

"Hahaha but we have to get up" you said booping his nose sweetly.

"Who said we do?"

"Me"

"Noooo I will pretend you said nothing"

Laxus only brought you to his embrace tighter and he shifted his weight so you were trapped in his arms.

"Laxussss" you whined bonking his head trying to get him release you.

"No"

"Ughhh, you never sleep this long, why stay in bed??"

"It has you in it" he smirked but sou pouted in response.

Guess you are stuck with him...
