Y/n pov:

I had just finished my work in the town and I plan to immediately come back home to my two darlings, my daughter d/n and Laxus. She's 5 years old and since we got her we decided it was appropriate time to settle down finally. Laxus quit doing many dangerous quests and so we didn't have lots of income and it forced me to find a job. Laxus offered himself to take upon that role but since guild needs him it was for the best he's not overworked with 2 jobs, each different.

Besides, whenever he's at the guild he takes d/n with him and she plays at the guild hall while he takes care of business. Makarov is old now, many say he didn't lose his edge but it's clearly visible he isn't as powerful and strong as he was.

On my way home I find a cute store that sells sweets and a great idea came to my mind. I enter and the sugary smell takes over my body. I must say even if I'm a grown up I still prefer sweets just like anyone else does. I pick out a purple and blue lolipop and some rainbow coloured gummy bears. I put them all in a bag and pay. I don't mind the little expenses, this is just a reward and luxury for being our good daughter.

I hurry to arrive home, imagining her expression once she sees the bag full of candies just for her. I bet d/n won't let Laxus get even 1 candy! I giggle at the thoughts.

My arrival was expected, I heard d/n standing behind the house doors whisper yelling "mommy is here" to Laxus. I open the doors and immediately she jumps in my arms not noticing the bag yet.

"Alright let mommy go d/n. She just came from work and is probably tired"

I give a thankful nod to Laxus and as soon as d/n lets go of me I cup Laxus' face to kiss him sweetly. He helps me take off my coat and nicely places it on the hanger. I step in our home and d/n is running around happily.

Just to not make her even more hyped I hide the candies behind my back while I find a good moment to put them away. So she won't find them easily.

Our cheerful daughter busies herself in the living room and I join Laxus at the table.

"I made these for you, Mira helped a little after I finished work at the guild"

Laxus open a pot with my fav meal f/m/n and I cant help but start drooling over the smell that exploded from the pot once he removed the lid. It was still warm and I took a plate out of the cabinet. Just now I remember how hungry I actually am but because of work I totally forgot about the need to eat.

I eat in peace but it was short-lived as my h/c daughter runs over to the table likely done with playing alone.

"Mommy how was your work today?"

"It was amazing, I helped many people today that came to my office"

She always loves to hear how I help others and lives in hope she can be like us too. As for her bedtime stories we tell about the guild's younger days when friendship was blooming and we had battles together protecting the world and doing quests. She really loves to hear about our past and wishes to grow one day to do quests just like we did.

'Well, she is a Dreyar afterall' runs through my mind as I look at resemblance between her and Laxus.

I think now would be a good time to give her candies.

"D/n, I put something insde the big cabinet next to the stove. Do you mind being so brave to look whats inside, in the dark?" I challenge her with my misterious tone and her eyes light up as an answer.

She hurries to the familiar cabinet and slowly opens the door that open sideways. She gasps and takes the bag of candies before running off to sit on the couch. I giggle at her actions.

"What do you say when you get something nice?" Laxus questions the girl that already began eating candy.

"Thank you mommyyy!"

Ahh, such a good daughter we got blessed with, luckily isn't a boy hehe.
