JJ went back home that afternoon very upset. He's always known he wasn't good enough for her. No matter how many times she has tried to reassure him that he was.. deep down he always felt like he wasn't enough.

He couldn't stop thinking about it. He starts pacing back and forth in his room getting more and more upset Remembering what mike had said, he picks up his phone-

JJ: kie. Can I swing by your house tmr morning. We really need to talk.

Kie: yea sure is everything alright??

At home kie kept worrying. Why wasn't he replying? Was he ok? What did he need to talk about? She knew something was off. She knew her dad had talked to him. Was it something he said?

She kept thinking about all night but eventually fell asleep.

The next morning at breakfast, kie heard his bike pull into the drive way. She gets up from the table and walks over to the back door. Mike was on the porch and had also heard JJ pull up.

"Nah ah. no!" Mike says while stepping in front of Kie who was trying to get through the door.

"Dad move!" Kie snaps

Mike turns to see JJ walking up the steps, and In his eyes he can tell what he was about to do.

Mike moves and let's Kie out onto the porch and keeps eye contact with JJ.

"Alright but make it quick" he tells them and walks inside.

"JJ hey what's wrong" Kie says as she goes up to him to hug him. He doesn't hug her back though. He just stands there numb. He grabs her wrists and unwraps her arms from around him.

"What? Jayj what's wrong??" She asks

"Look" he forces. He doesn't want to do this at all. But he hated the thought of him bringing her down. And Mike said that if he really loved her.. to leave her alone. And did.. so he will.

"I've been thinking and uhm.." he starts regretting his decision as he looks into her sad little puppy dog eyes. They make him nervous and starts to freak out a little

"Uhm.." He pauses and takes a deep breath

"Yea Kie actually I think maybe it IS a little weird  yk... like us being together. Maybe we worked better as friends." He spits his words out fast and looks away. Cringing at himself in the inside.

"what." Kie says in a soft shocked voice

"Yea yk i just I'm not... I'm not really feelin it anymore yk" he says

"Are you being serious right now JJ?" Kie asks with an attitude "after everything, what? your just "not feelin it anymore" seriously?"

"Yeah Kie yk i would call this a break up except we weren't ever even dating so I really don't know why you care so much." He says like a douche bag, trying to hide his pain.

"what did my dad say to you." Kie says angrily

"What?" JJ says getting defensive

"He talked to to yesterday what did he say!?" Kie asks with tears forming in her eyes

"Nothing Kie" JJ says while leaning against the railing

"I know he said something to you JJ just tell me!!" Kie cry's "why are you doing this!?"

"He didn't say anything to me okay Kie." He says but she can tell that he's lying.  "It's over okay that's all you need to know." He starts walking to the steps

"JJ." Kie says with tear falling down her cheeks. He looks over to see her standing there crying.

"i'm sorry" he says through a clinched jaw as he turns back around, walking to his bike.

Kie just stands there crying as she watches him get on his bike and leave.

She walks back inside and her dad comes up to comfort her.

"Oh sweetie what happened" he asks, knowing already what had happened

"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HIM" she yells, pushing him off

Mike just stands there.

"I KNOW YOU SAID SOMETHING TO HIM WHAT DID YOU SAY!"

"Kiara all I said to him was the truth alright." Mike raises his voice. "He did the right thing."

"OMG YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE!!" She yells "YOU KEEP SAYING THAT HES NOT GOOD FOR ME BUT DAD THIS ISNT GOOD FOR ME.!" She yells gesturing to everything "THIS LIFE, THIS HOUSE" she pauses "DAD I DONT WANT TO LIVE LIKE THIS!"

"YOU ARE SO UNGRATEFUL" Mike yells back

"IM A POUGE DAD!!" Kie yells, tears in her eyes. "YOU DONT KNOW WHATS BEST FOR ME, you think you do dad but you really don't. You wouldn't have told him to do that if you did." She says getting softer.

"Kiara-"

"I HATE YOU!" Kie storms off to her room, sobbing.
