They woke up the next morning and everyone was hungover. Especially JJ and kie since they hadn't drank or smoked in more than a week.

They went inside and laid around the living room with each other

"My head is killing me" John b said, keeping his eyes closed.

"I actually think im gonna barf" Kie said, laying across the couch,  her head on JJs lap

"I'm not going to school today" JJ protested, with his hat over his eyes

"No shot" Sarah agreed.

"Pope already left" John b said

"To school?" Kie asked "he's crazy"

"Does anyone have Tylenol?" JJ asked

"I wish" John b replied.

They laid around the house for another hour or so before hearing a knock at the door.

"There's rafe" John b joked, since he had been coming to the house around this time everyday.

JJ heard his name and got alert. He didn't move because Kie was so comfortable laying on him, but he moved his head trying to look out the window.

The door wasn't locked and it opened and everyone looked up. It was Rafe. And he calmly walked in.

"Kie, your phone was ringing" he said softly. Slowly shuffling his way over to Kie and handing her the phone

"...thanks?" Kie said, sitting up. Everyone was on edge, not knowing what he was gonna do next.

"Sarah" he said, like he was about to give up "please, okay- I'm being good. Alright I'm calm right now, please can we just talk"

Sarah looked at John b. They hesitated for a minute before John b nodded and Sarah got up.

"Don't try anything" she said to rafe, and they walked out to the porch. All the pogues got up watched from the window to make sure he didn't do anything to her.

Sarah sat down and rafe slowly shuffled to the chair across from her and sat down.

"What do you need to talk about rafe?" She asked

His eyes were wide as they started darting around in every direction. He started breathing a little heavier as his eyes filled with tears

"I- Uhm" he said nervously, his voice breaking "I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know, you've been trying to talk all week" Sarah said, confused

"I just- I think I forgot" rafe said, nervously "I don't think.. maybe there never was anything"

"Rafe, I'm starting to get worried about you" Sarah said sincerely "what's going on?"

"I don't think I'm okay" rafe said numbly "dad said I was fine, I don't think I am"

"Dad never knew what he was talking about rafe" Sarah said, moving over and sitting next to him and hugging him "your not okay right now"

He started crying into her

"We're gonna help you" she said, holding back tears as well.

"I didn't do it" he said again, crying

"Can you just tell me what you mean by that?" Sarah asked as if she was talking to a child

"I- don't know" he said confused "dad said I didn't do it"

"Rafe what are you talking about?" She cried, seeing her bother fall apart like this.

"Dad said-"

"Rafe dad is gone" Sarah cried "he's dead, he's not here anymore. What are you talking about"

"Dads dead" he repeated

"He's dead" Sarah reassured him

"No- no" rafe said standing up and walking backward to the stairs "no no no no no" he mumbled as we walked down the stairs and left

Sarah broke down crying when he left. John b went outside and comforted her.

"What the fuck is is deal" JJ said, watching from the window.

Kie phone started going off again. It was her dad calling her.

"Oh shit- I bet the school called him" she said and JJ looked at her phone. "Do I answer?"

"Uhh, yea just tell him.." he thought for a second "just tell him we over slept and we're just gonna be a little late."

Kie took a deep breath

"Dad, hey" Kie said, chirpy

[kiara why are you not at school] her dad said on the phone

"I know- I'm sorry, we all over slept" she lied "we're just waiting for Sarah to get out of the shower and then we're leaving"

[it's the last quarter baby, you have to take it seriously]

"I know, I know, it was an accident, I promise we'll be there in like 30 minutes"

[text me when you get there kiara, and don't let this happen again]

"Okay, I won't" Kie said and then hung up the phone

"So?" JJ said

"So I have to go to school" Kie said, sadly

They got ready and then headed out to the porch

"Woah wait, where are y'all going" John b asked, stopping them

"Her dad called, we have to get to the school" JJ replied

"Wait JJ we need you, you can't go" John b said

"Why?" JJ asked

"Because, we have to figure out this whole rafe thing" John b explained

"You can stay JJ, I'll be fine for a day at school by myself" Kie said

"But" JJ started

"We need you both, but Kie if you have to go then we at least need JJ" John b said again

"Stay JJ" Kie said again

"At least let me drive you there" JJ said and everyone agreed.

"Kie-" Sarah said before they walked away "you might wanna.." he said, tapping her neck

"What?" Kie said, putting her hand up to her neck, confused

JJ looked at her and cringed "mm that's my bad"

John b laughed a little.

"Come here" Sarah said standing up and leading Kie into her and John bs bathroom.

"Oh my god I'm gonna kill him" Kie said, looking in the mirror and seeing two hickeys on her neck. One by her jaw and the other one lower down.

"Don't worry" Sarah said, mixing foundations to try and match her skin tone "I can fix it"

JJ walked in the bathroom and Sarah laughed when she saw him

"Is it working" he asked and Kie shot him a dirty glance.

"Yea, it'll cover it right up" Sarah said, putting the makeup on a beauty blinder and tapping it over the marks.

"I've told you not to leave hickeys like a thousand times JJ" Kie said, a little annoyed.

"I'm sorry, Kie I wasn't exactly in the right state of mind last night" he defended himself

Sarah finished covering it up and Kie thanked her and then walked past JJ who was leaning on the doorframe

"Kie, are you actually mad?" He asked as she ignored him and went outside.

"All better?" John b asked when they went back outside

"All better" Kie said smiling and headed to JJs bike. Sarah cringed as she followed them both outside, noticing that Kie was a little pissed off.

JJ followed her to the bike

"Kie wait, are you mad at me?" He asked more sincerely since they were alone now

She looked at him and took a deep breath "no I'm not, I'm sorry" she apologized "I'm just stressed and feel like death right now. My head his killing me and I feel sick and really don't want to go to school."

"It's okay" JJ said, letting her rant

"I'm just tired of school, and I have to see pope again which is just gonna be really awkward, and then my parents are gonna be on my ass about being late and-"

JJ hugged her since she looked like she was about to cry

"I just wanna go back to bed" Kie said, closing her eyes in JJs warm embrace

"I'm sorry I gave you a hickey" JJ said

"It's fine" she laughed at herself "it's really not a big deal, I didn't mean to get mad"

"You okay?" He asked, pulling out of the hug and looking at her

"Yea" she smiled at him, laughing at herself again and then hugging him again. "I needed that"

They got on his bike and he drove her to school. He kissed her goodbye and then she went inside and checked in.

He drove back to the chateau and tried to come up with a plan for rafe. They were mainly doing it for Sarah. Non of them really cared about rafes well-being after all the shit he's pulled, but he was still Sarah's brother and they wanted to help her feel better.
