They all eventually went down stairs with pope, and started exposing his date to his dad. Everyone was laughing and having a good time, but JJ couldn't get Kie off of his mind. She knew just how to tease him.

Kie, JJ, sarah, and John b all headed back to the chateau while pope stayed home and panicked for his date.

On their way home, they stopped at a gas station to get beer and food. John b and Kie went inside while JJ and Sarah stayed in the van

"Sooo? How goes?" Sarah asked, ready to gossip.

"What do you mean" JJ asked

"You knowww, with Kie"

"Ohh, Well actually right now.. really good" he responded with a happy smile on his face

"Yayyy" Sarah squeaked while clapping her hands "so are you guys like dating?" she asked

"Well" he paused "no"

"Oh.." Sarah said, confused and disappointed "so its still just a hookup thing right now?"

"Well" he paused again "no"

"No?" She asked confused "WAIT. you're not telling me y'all STILL havnt has sex!" She said, shocked

"Weee.. have not." He said disappointedly.

"Huhhhhh? But this morning?" She asked "John b saw y'all no?"

"Huh?, oh yea no that wasn't that, we were just making out" he laughed

"Hm, so you aren't dating and you aren't hooking up.." she questioned

"Correct" he replied

"So is this like a, friends with benefits situation or something?"

"I don't think so.." he questioned "God I hope not"

"JJ?" She asked softly

"Yea?"

"Do you love her?" She said with a soft smile

He paused. A small smile began to form on his face. He hesitated for a moment longer

"yea." He said proudly "I do"

"Omg!" She shrieked "JJ maybank in love"

"Yea.. honestly I think YOU knew before even I knew." He laughed

"What can I say, I have a talent for that sort of thing" she bragged

They both laugh

"Well I hope you guys are able to figure it all out" she smiled "im rooting for you two"

"Thanks" he replied

John b and Kie then return with the drinks

[rewind to John b and kie in the store]

"So Kie.. uh can I ask you a personal question" John b said hesitantly

"Oh no" she joked

"You and JJ?" He started "I know you and me haven't REALLY talked about you and him since um well.. yk .. the party"

"Heh, yea" Kie laughed awkwardly

"So are you like a thing thing or y'all just fucking?" He asked "because it's starting to look like y'all are a thing thing"

"Uhm.. well, we're not hooking up.. but um..we're not exactly dating" she tried to explain "I don't know, I know he wants to date but I just want to make sure popes okay before we officially start, yk? and also-"

"Wait wait wait wait wait- pause" John b cuts in "JJ? JJ maybank is the one who wants to officially start dating?"

"Yeah" Kie said casually

"Like... with the title and the commitment and everything?" John b asked, shocked "are we talking about the same JJ?"

"I mean.. that's what he said?" Kie replied, now insecure about it.

"And wait, you two still haven't had sex?" John b said, even more shocked

"Nope.. we've been interrupted almost every single time we're able to get to that point" she said, slightly irritated.

"That's crazy" John b said "yo you've really got a spell on Him or something, that does not sound like him" he thought. "maybe he's growing" John b says like a proud dad "finally ready to settle down"

"Yea I don't know tho , cuz you're right, that doesn't sound like him" Kie said sadly "I guess we'll have to see"

They finish paying for the beers and head back out to the van

Things were sort of awkward for JJ and kie now.
JJ felt insecure that Kie only wanted to be "friends with benefits" and Kie thought that's JJ might be scared of commitment and change his mind soon.

They didn't really talk about it. they were both lost in their heads thinking about it.

John b and Sarah on the other hand kept making suspicious looks at each other since they had both planned on asking them both to see what was going on between them. They couldn't wait to get home to tell each other what the other said.

They got home and things were casual but still a little off. Later that night they started a fire and hung out in the hot tub for a little while just drinking beers and hanging out.

"JJ can you get me one too?" Kie asked as JJ walked toward the house to get another beer

"Oh me too" John b adds in

"Damn" JJ jokes "I only have two hands"

They all laugh

"Sarah you want one too?" He asks "since I'm playing waitress"

"I meaaann, I wasn't gonna ask but um.. yes please" she says making a funny guilty face and they all laugh.

JJ comes back out with four beer bottles awkwardly in his hands

"A one for you" "a one for you" "and a one for you" he says in a funny accent while handing them out.

"Thank you thank you" John b says back, returning the accent.

"This is my last one guys I'm tired" sarah announces

"I agree" John b says while yawning

"Bro Fr this whole waking up early thing" JJ says "it's not for me"

"It's not for any of us" Kie laughs

"Ohh how I miss summer" sarah says in remembrance

"Only like 7 more months to go" John b sighs

"Ugggg" JJ replies
