"tate we have docked on the island and Marco oyaji wanted to see you" thatch informed.

"Why me yoi!?" Marco asked confused. Thatch just shrugged his shoulders.

"Good. Thatch call izou and both of you come with me for the medicine and we have to hurry it's already evening" tate said as she went out with thatch.

"Ace do you-"

"no I will stay here with luffy."

Marco hesitated to leave ace all alone like that.

"Don't worry Marco you should go since oyaji is the one who called i think it might be important and we are here me, crystal, Trista" ash said

"Okay ash take care of them " taking a last look at luffy and ace. Marco went to meet pops who was sitting on his large chair on deck.

"Oyaji! You called me yoi ?" Marco asked once he was pops.

"Yess my son Marco, first of all how is luffy?"

"Well he is not really okay but tate, thatch and izou has went inside the town for the medicine yoi " Marco said.

"Okay. I hope he gets well soon, it pains me to see my childrens like this and Marco I want you to check something." Marco looked at pops confused.

"Apparantly some of your brothers who were on look out from past 1 week has noticed a boat following our ship and now when we are docked that boat is also docked a little far away from us. It might be someone travelling but better be safe than sorry" oyaji said.

"Okay yoi don't worry oyaji, I will check it myself" Marco said and turned into his phoenix form and went towards that boat.

"Ohh looks like whitebeard pirates have noticed my presence" blue gentleman thought and smirked.

Marco landed gracefully on the boat.

"Oh my.. what a pleasure meeting you first division commander, mr. Phoenix san, greetings" blue gentleman stated as he bowed his head.

Marco looked at him lazily and his eyes widened a little for a brief moment when he realised who is he.

"Well.. well .. the pleasure is all mine, the chief of the revolutionary army" marco stated.

They both gave each other a fake smile.

"Oh so he is a shrewd type" both of them thought at the same time.

"May I know why would you bother to come behind our ship chief of staff yoi?" Marco asked.

"Well phoenix san I have a name and it's sabo please refer me with my name, no need to remind me my position again and again I know it very well and about why I'm here it's because I was assigned on an personal mission " sabo said as he gave him a fake smile.

(I'm sorry if it seems out of character but honestly I always thought that sabo is someone who is witty, cocky and cheeky but in a good way so i wrote it in my own way)

"Ohh.. a personal mission sounds good yoi but does that personal mission consists of following the whitebeard pirates." Marco asked cheekily.

"Well it doesn't have anything to do with the whitebeard pirates but with someone who is with you right now. The son of the leader of the revolutionary army" sabo stated.

"Okay okay.. and what does you have to do with him mr. Sabo yoi?" Marco asked as he give sabo a tight lipped smile.

"Well this is getting nowhere, phoenix san I won't beat around the bush, I was sent here to check on dragon san's son and his elder brother, he sent me here to make sure that they are okay"

"Now that makes sense yoi, could have said it from the start." Marco said.

"I could take you there but I need oyaji's permission yoi" Marco stated.

"Well I don't think he will mind it after all what I am, infront of strongest man in the world. Right mr whitebeard?" Sabo smirked and winked at marco.

"Gurararara looks like we can hide nothing from revolutionaries" pops voice came from the transponder snail which was inside Marco's pocket the whole time.

Flashback...

Before Marco could take off and go, pops called him again.

"What is it oyaji?"Marco asked as he turned in his human form again.

"Marco take this transponder snail with you and make sure it's on, I want to see who that person is." Pops said as he gave Marco a snail.

Without wasting a second Marco nodded his head and went towards the boat.

Flashback ends...

" Well there's nothing wrong with a concerned father sending someone to make sure that his son is okay, come to my ship you cheeky brat"

Kachank.

"Well you heard oyaji. Let's go yoi" Marco said and turned into his phoenix form again.

"Well excuse me" the blue gentleman said as he sat on Marco back.

"Permission to come abroad"

"Permission granted" pops said and chuck down a barrel of booze.

The blue gentleman and first division commander landed gracefully.

"Greetings mr whitebeard" the blue gentleman bowed his head down (like a prince)

"Gurararara.. brat no need to be formal, you are here to check on them right! Then be my guest and go ahead but remember if you try to do anything funny, i will not let you live" whitebeard said.

"Well.. I would never dare to do that specially not when you have your skilled commander's with you" sabo said and smirked.

"Go ahead! You cocky brat"

'lets go yoi" Marco said and lead sabo towards infarmary.

"Well phoenix san do we have to go, can't they come here?"

"Unfortunately no, one of them is sick and other won't leave his side yoi" Marco said.

"Okay well can you tell me the name of dragon san's son please" sabo asked.

Marco gave him a side eye ( bombastic side eye😂😂)

"Well his name is luffy yoi" Marco said without looking at sabo.

"HELLO MY NAME IS-"

Sabo blinked his eyes.

" What was that?? Who's voice was that."

"Are you okay yoi ?" Marco asked to which sabo nodded.

"And his brother must be fire fist right?"

Marco nodded his head.

"Portgas d Ace aka fire fist ace and there is his Bounty poster on that wall yoi" Marco said as he stopped walking and looked at ace's bounty poster. Sabo did the same.

"OYY SABO" a boy whose face isn't clear shouted happily while waving his hand.

Sabo blinked his eyes rapidly.

"Again!?? What was that ? Who was that boy? Is it the same from earlier or diffrent?? What is happening???"

"Ahh my head is hurting" sabo thought aloud.

"Do you want me to check you sabo san yoi?" Asked Marco.

"Ahh no it's alright phoenix san , don't bother I will check on them quickly and leaver from here" sabo said as he waved his hand.

Nodding his head, Marco and sabo started walking after 2-3 minutes they were infront of infarmary door. They went inside.

two people were lying on the bed in the middle. He took a step forward to get a better look at them. The taller one was wrapped around the smaller form, he could easily make out the freckles on the pale face. Fire Fist Ace, he'd heard about him in the newspaper recently but never saw him in person nor saw his poster before.

The smaller form was also a boy, his black hair was stuck to his face. if he hadn't been on ventilation the blond would have assumed the boy was dead. His face (or what he could see of it) was as pale as a sheet and he wasn't moving at all.

"I'M GONNA BECOME -"

The revolutionist blinked. For a moment it felt as if he had remembered something. He watched the figure of the boy more closely and for a second became unbalanced as he almost saw the face of someone in front of his eyes.

With a shaky hand he grabbed the bedpost to steady himself. His heart started to race as he stared at the still form of the smaller boy while his instincts screamed how wrong this picture was. It became difficult to breathe when his eyes landed on a threadbare straw hat.

"You guys are gonna become pirates?"

"Haaa-"

He took the hat with shaky hands and placed it on the too still form with wide eyes before the other form shifted and caught his attention.

"If you exchange vows over a cup of sake with someone, you become brothers."

"Waaaa-" Sabo gasped for breath as memories of two young boys came back. ... Ace?

"Haaa-" he panted again. This was so wrong... Luffy, his brother was...

"Being alone hurts worse than pain." His Luffy was dead?

(And I know it's kind of stupid that sabo assumed that luffy died, when sabo read about ace being dead he regained his memories, so i thought it might realistic If he gained his memory thinking that one of his brother is on verge of death or is dead, I hope my stupid logic is  good and not that bad😅😂)
