He never thought that one day something like this will happen and their Gramps won't be there to help his own grandsons. He was angry at his Gramps.

"Damm marines, going after a little kid and they call themselves justice." Vista said angrily.

When ace said about his grandpa, thatch decided to ask him about his grandpa and clear his doubt too.

"So ace who is your grandpa?"

"Umm thatch... it's vice admiral garp. He is our grandpa."

The room suddenly fell silent.

"What!??" Kingdew screamed , so they were right, we really has a marines grandchildren and not just any marine but the grandchildren of marine hero garp the fist.

"I knew it" thatch said and ace looked at him confused.

"When we get to know about luffy, and how his surname is also monkey d, so we had a doubt that he might or might not be garps grandson " izou said when he noticed ace's confused gaze.

"But ace I did not understand one thing," izo said looking at ace.

"Why are marines after marine heros grandson, why they are after luffy?" Izou said what was on everybody's mind.

"Yeah why they are after luffy, ace?" Thatch repeated.

Ace shifted nervously on his seat, he was scared and Marco noticed it.

"Ace it's alright, you can trust us yoi" Marco said reassuringly.

Ace nodded at him. It's not like he don't trust them. It just he doesn't know how they are going to react after hearing as to why they are after luffy.

"Before that I would like to tell you all something, Marco and oyaji already know about it" ace said and standup from his seat.

He bowed 90° and said

"First thankyou for accepting someone like me as your brother"

They all smiled, they want to tell him that they are happy and grateful to have him as their brother but decided to let ace finish first.

"And second i don't know how you are going to react to this but my real name is gol d Ace, I'm the son of gol d Roger, the pirate king" ace said nervously he don't know how they are going to react oyaji and Marco didn't had any problem but he don't know about them.

He decided to say his heritage first to make sure that luffy is safe. Its not like he doesn't trust them but he just want to confirm that, the big secret that he decided to tell them won't hurt luffy in any way.

"What? You are Rogers son , I knew it. You looked alot like him when he was young except for freckles." Thatch said happily.

All of them smiled and said how even his behaviour remind them of Roger.

And trust me ace did not expected that, this is a total diffrent reaction.

"Wait! So you don't have any problem with me?" ace asked surprised, feeling happy.

"You are so stupid ace, Roger was our friend, I mean we were friendly rivals, his crew and our crew has lots of good memories together." Jozu said with a smile. Ahh the good old days.

"Yeah he is right ace and Roger was a really good man" thatch said smiling.

And ace never felt more happy about it. He was happy that their are people besides luffy who are ready to accept him. And he hates his father just a little less than before now, don't get him wrong he still hate his father. But now it doesn't seem that bad.

And now he felt like he can trust luffy with them too.

"So ace what about luffy?" Izou asked again after they were done talking about Roger.

Taking a deep breath , ace continued.

"Because of luffy's father.." ace said makin everyone in the room frown.

"His father is.... the leader of revolutionary army.
Monkey D dragon"

Now this wasn't on their list of reasons as to why marines were after him, they did not expected that not even in their wildest dream. Luffy's fathers name left them speechless.

They were too shocked, even pops was shocked to hear that.

"WHAT!??" Haruta screamed after recovering from the shock.

"Wait.. what? Is it for real??", izou asked.

" so you are telling me that the worst criminal in the history has a son and that son happened to be luffy?" Thatch asked, eyes widened.

Ace nodded at him.

"Yess the worst criminal has a son and it's luffy. That's why they were after him." Ace said.

"No wonder that red dog was after him yoi" Marco said as a matter of fact.

"Okay calm down, my children." Pops said.

"So what's next, we all know luffy is in danger yoi." Marco said seriously.

"First everyone, we don't know when akainu or any marine would come and attack us. Knowing akainu he won't rest until he had luffy. So to make sure luffy is safe. Someone has to be with him all the time. What do you think oyaji?" Izou asked.

"Yeah you are right my son, better to be safe than sorry." Pops said.

"We have to make sure luffy is safe all the time yoi, because world government is bad but akainu is worst yoi.We don't know what he would do and how many are going to come. So we have to be always prepared to fight yoi" Marco said.

"You are right Marco, if they caught luffy. They will either use him against dragon or set a public execution for him. You know how that bastard akainu is and how he hates the so called demon blood." Izou said seriously.

That gave ace a feeling of fear, knowing what would happen to luffy if marine ever caught them.

"Ace my son, don't worry as long as luffy and you are here with us nothing will happen to him. I will not let anyone hurt my children." Oyaji said firmly and reassuringly.

Ace sighed and nodded his head, he will be extra careful from now on.

"So is that all?" Thatch asked ace.

"Yes that was the only thing I wanted to tell you guys " ace said.

"Than what are we waiting for let's go, it's time for party" thatch and haruta yelled at the same.

They all laughed.

"Okay lets go everyone" pops said happily.

"No booze for you oyaji" Marco said strictly like a mother hen.

If anybody ever said that world's strongest man pouts like a child when his son don't give him booze. Nobody, not even single soul would believe that.

They all went outside.

"Aceee, shishishi" luffy yelled , wrapping his arms several times around ace. Hugging him.

"You took so long , i was so bored" luffy whined.

Luffy's laugh always melts ace all worry and tension.

Ace smiled at him.

"Let's go to party luffy and eat food."

"Yeah lets go" ace and luffy yelled together and ran from there to party with their family.

Party was going real good everybody was dancing, drinking booze laughing, singing, pops precious son sneaked some sake to him when marco wasn't looking so pops is having fun too and all of them are having the time of their life.

But Marco and thatch was away in corner. Away from everyone.

"So why do you have this fruit with you right now yoi" Marco asked.

"Whoever named them devil fruit, did them a good name. This fruit is really a devil. Alot of things happened because of this stupid devilish fruit" thatch said bitterly.

"but at the same time this devil fruit was a blessing for us, if it wasn't for this fruit we would never know about teach. About his real face, his bad intentions" thatch said and smiled a little.

Taking a deep breath he threw that fruit in the ocean as far as he can.

Marco smiled at him.

"Now lets go yoi"

Both of them went away.
