It's been a week since all of this happened and everybody seems to forget about the betrayal slowly but surely.

And today is the day where ace is going on his first mission.

"Aceee, so how are you feeling about going on your first ever mission?" Haruta asked holding a bottle near ace's mouth like mic.

"It's good and I'm actually excited and happy but.." ace sighed.

"Ace what happened yoi?" Marco asked worriedly because ace sounds sad.

"Its nothing Marco, it's just I have never been away from luffy since he and I met so I'm sad, and don't get me wrong, this ship is the most safe place for luffy but I can't help and feel worried." Ace said sadly.

Marco smiled at the brotherly concern.

"It's alright ace, I know you are worried but trust me luffy will be alright and it's not like you are going for long, you are just going for 2 days" thatch said trying to cheer up ace.

"Yess ace, thatchy is right and I'm not a kid, I'm a pirate" luffy said putting his hands on both sides of his waist, lifting his head up, trying to look tough.
(Instead of tough he looks cute👍🏻)

They all laughed.

"Hey! don't laugh, my punch is like a pistol" luffy yelled angrily and tried to throw his punch but ended up hitting himself, that made them laugh more.

"Okay okay luffy let's ignore them, I heard that they made lots of meat for lunch." Izou said and grabbed luffy's hand. They both went towards the kitchen.

"Ace it's alright yoi, everybody is here  oyaji, thatch, izou, vista, jozu, namur, haruta yoi. There's no need to worry even if someone came here they won't be able to touch luffy yoi." Marco said reassuringly to a very worried older brother.

Ace sighed looking at them. He nodded his head smiled.

"Yes you are right Marco everybody is here, so it will be alright" ace said and smiled little.

"Now lets go for lunch everybody" thatch yelled and all them including ace went to have lunch.

After lunch....

Now is the time, ace is going on his first mission, the boat is prepared and everything is done.

"Luffy I will be going now." Ace said trying to sound happy but his voice is betraying him, anybody who heard him, can say that he is this close to crying and luffy isn't any different.

"Okay...." Luffy whispered covering his face with his hat.

Everybody watched two brothers having a emotional moment.

Ace bowed his head down and went towards the boat.

"Aceeeee" luffy yelled and jumped on him, wrapping his hands around him dozens of time, crying.

Ace try to act tough but give in and hugged him back.

"Shhh luffy it's alright, I will be back in two days don't worry about me and listen to thatch okay and stay away from water and don't go anywhere alone" ace said as luffy unwrapped himself.

"Okay ace" luffy said wiping his nose.

And just like that ace and Marco went away for ace's first mission.

"Hey luffy, it's alright okay let's go, we will do some fishing for the dinner" nodding his head luffy went away with namur.

"LUFFFFFYYY!" Thatch yelled for the 13th time.

"Thatch my son, calm down and tell me what happened" oyaji said putting his hand on thatch's back to calm him down.

" oyaji *sigh* from the moment we stopped on this small town for few parts so we can repair some parts of moby, luffy kept on trying to run away to this town." Thatch Said defeated, he don't know whats happening with luffy or why he is doing this.

"Hmm.. now that's concerning, ace left luffy here with us, he trust us. If something happened to luffy. We won't be able to face ace" oyaji said.

"Thatch my son, find luffy and talk to him, ask him why does he want to go to that town badly" oyaji said and thatch went to search luffy.

"Luffy!" Namur grabbed luffy when he(luffy) tried to jump from the ship.

"I found him, he is here" namur yelled and all of them come running to him

"Luffy, what is wrong with you? Why are you trying to run away?" Thatch ask fully tired.

"I'm not trying to run away " luffy whispered.

"Oh so what are you doing huh!" Izou said raising his voice a little.

"I'm just trying to get a gift." Luffy yelled, then he realised what he did he was about to slip away from there when thatch grabbed him.

"For whom luffy ?" Thatch asked confused.

"For no one and it's definitely not for ace.." luffy said whistling.

Silence.....

Everybody was silent no one was speaking anything but they all thought the same thing.

"What a terrible lier.."

"Why for ace luffy?" Ash asked.

"I just wanted to buy something for him and it's definitely not for his birthday" luffy said again whistling.

Once again silence...

"WHAT!!????" They all exclaimed together.

"It's ace's birthday when?? today ??? Tomorrow??? Why didn't you tell us anything?? Why did you hide it ??" All of them were bombarding luffy with questions.

"My children" pops said with his calm yet firm voice.

"Luffy my child, why didn't you said it sooner" pops asked once everyone stopped talking.

"Because ace doesn't like to celebrate his birthday.. that's why, he thinks it's stupid and he has hard time with it. I don't know why" luffy said hiding his eyes in his hat.

He just told a secret. ace asked him to not to tell his birthday to anyone but he still told it.

"Hey luffy, it's alright. We forced you to say so its okay. So it's not your fault" thatch said while rubbing circles on luffy's back.

"So you were trying to go to the town for ace's gift" Ash asked trying to change luffys mood.

"Yess I want to buy a present for him, his birthday tomorrow so i have to hurry" luffy said happily, excited for ace's birthday.

They all looked at each other, nodding their head.

"Everyone, you know what to do right!" Haruta yelled.

All of them were busy decorating Moby and preparing for birthday except two people.

Ash and luffy, apparantly they both went to buy a present for ace.

"Hey luffy what present do you want to buy?" Ash asked as he and luffy walked down the street.

"I want to buy a ........, we will match" luffy exclaimed happily.

So both of them came back in the night with ace's gift and everybody on Moby like the ..... , izou even volunteered to wrap it nicely.

Time skip to ace's birthday...

Today is ace's birthday the whole moby is decorated and there's alot of food and gifts and lots of booze and  a very big cake.

Everybody was excited to celebrate ace's birthday. They get to know from vista that marco and ace will be here in evening.

Time skip to evening...

A boat docked near moby attached to the shore.

And our birthday boy and the first division commander just stepped on Moby and to their surprise, nobody's on deck and there's nothing except for silence. Which was weird because it's mobydick they are talking about. Their dork brothers are crazy.

"Now.... This is weird yoi" Marco said suspiciously. Ace nodded his head in agreement. ( as if he doesn't know about aces Birthday)

" SURPRISE " and suddenly the whole ship lit up with lights and everybody came running to ace , because of dark. He didn't even notice the food, booze and a.... Cake?

"What's happening guys?" Ace asked confused.

They all looked at each other smiling before shouting.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACE"

Ace flinched when he hear them.

And instantly his eyes searched for luffy who was hiding in crowd.

"Now now ace, no need to be an asshole. Before you say anything we forced luffy to say your birthday and it was oyaji's plan" thatch said, putting his hand around aces shoulder.

"I'm not being an asshole thatch trust me. I'm really happy because for the first  time i really wanted to celebrate my birthday, for the first time I didn't thought that my birthday is stupid, for the first time I was happy that I was born because of you guys, because of our big family." Ace said making everyone emotional.

"Aceeeee" yelled thatch loudly and soon everyone joined in to hug him.

"But where is luffy ??" Ace asked.

"I'm here ace" comes tell from ace's side.

Luffy jumped on him wrapping his arm several times around ace.

"Happy birthday ace" luffy yelled happily.

"Thankyou luffy, my sunshine" ace said hugging luffy back with a big smile on his face.

"I bought a gift for you" luffy said , after the hug.

He gave the gift to ace and ace opened it and he couldn't believe, this is the best gift ever.

It was a orange hat, shaped like a cowboy hat. It is decorated with red beads that go around it, similar to the ones that constitute his necklace.

But the most stand out, eye catching element of that hat was the two small faces on the front - one sad and one happy.

Ace couldn't be more happier.

"I thought we would wear matching hat but orange suits you more because you have fire ace , so i bought a orange hat. Shishishi" luffy said happily.

Ace once again hugged him.

"Thankyou thankyou so much luffy, this is the best birthday gift ever, I love it so much" ace whispered.

"Shishishi it's good that you liked it" luffy said.

"Okay if you are done then lets go and cut the cake" ash said.

Soon they all were standing in a circle, ace with knife in middle of it as he blew out the candle and cut the cake,  they all sang for him.

Soon the party begin, they all sang together, danced together, ate together. Basically enjoyed the whole night.

"Akainu San I just got the news that whitebeard pirates are near orange town and we got the information that, that kid is with them." a nave officer said while saluting the admiral sakazuki

"Hmm and how much time till we reach them"akainu asked.

"Probably two days" the navy officer exclaimed.

"Hmm keep up the good speed, i will be killing the devil spawn soon" akainu said with horrific smirk.
