About a few hundred years later:

Ajak smiles and we all cheer as Sersi says "We're getting married!"

Druig bites his tongue and Ajak says "I'm so happy for you two! You'll have such a beautiful wedding! It'll be absolutely perfect."

Sprite wanders off somewhere and I go to find her. I enter the living room and I see her face down in the pillow. Silently screaming.

I sit down on the footstool beside her and rub her back. "Sprite.."

"It isn't fair."

I run my fingers through her short hair attempting to comfort her. "Ikaris marrying Sersi?"

She nods as she turns to me with tears in her eyes. I sweep the tears from out with under her eyes and say "You're too beautiful to be crying over someone not worth your time."

She puffs her bottom lip out and says "I'm never going to get to find love. I'm going to be stuck in this STUPID body forever."

I smile to her and say "Love is overrated anyway. I think eventually Sersi and Ikaris will crash and burn. They're completely incompatible."

She nods and rests her head on my shoulder. She says "You'll at least stay with me when everyone else finds love right? I can live with you and your husband?"

I hold her cheeks and kiss the top of her head. "Sprite, you will always be welcome with me. Of course you can live with me and my future husband. I'm sure makkari will insist on living with me too."

"Your husband will hate us."

I nod and say "He'll be dismissive and breedable right?"

She cracks into a fit of giggles and I nudge her shoulder. Ajak smiles as she watches from around the corner.

Gaia is stepping into her role nicely.

I grab the sides of her hair and she says "No..doon't." I put them into tiny little space buns and she groans "I look even younger now."

"No you don't. You look very pretty."

"Hmm no."

I look to her and she says "I did that thing you asked me to do." My eyebrow lifts to that and I say "All 10 of them?"

She nods and I high five her loudly. We wince and say "Ouch. Ouch. That stings."

We hear out of nowhere the most high pitched screams ever. We smile to each other and I say "Looks like they've been found."

I stand up and hold out my hand for her to grab. She squeezes it and we literally skip to Kingo's loud screams. Along with a few other screams we don't even recognize.

We enter the living room and find Kingo in Gil's arms as they stand on the coffee table screaming. Phastos, Sersi, and Ikaris all right beside them screaming at the 8 tarantulas. Thena looking down at the tarantulas crawling away from her. It's like they're even afraid of her.

Ajak enters the room and says "What is all this screaming about?"

Sprite and I's eyes widen as we see the two tarantulas crawling on her head piece. We bite our bottom lip attempting to not crack from laughter.

Makkari signs "You all are wimps. Tarantulas are adorable."

Ikaris says "You're crazy! They're huge!"

Druig smirks and taunts in a baby voice "Big strong Ikaris is afwaidd of a wittle spidey."

Ajak screams loudly as she feels the tarantula crawling on her hair. She goes into a frenzy running out of the room and swatting at her hair to get it off.

Sprite and I laugh loudly and Sersi gasps. "Guilty culprits right here!"

Ikaris looks to me annoyed and says dramatically "Noo."

I smile and Sprite laughs loudly "Best prank ever. Ikaris! There's one on your shoulder!"

He squeals like a little girl and leaps off the coffee table and onto the floor running away with his arms flopping up and down swatting at his shoulders

Kingo chuckles and stops screaming "That's attractive." he says sarcastically. I smile and nudge Sprite. She nudges me back harder and I tumble away from her slamming into Druig.

She doesn't fully know an appropriate response to a lot of things.

I land on Druig and push myself up by pressing against his chest to push myself up. I smile to him as I climb to my feet. Makkari kicks me in the butt causing me to fall back down on Druig.

Sprite gasps and I look to her saying "What?!"

"You have a tarantula on your ponytail."

I chuckle and say "Not falling for that."

Sersi says "No... Sprite.. Sprite isn't lying! Kill it! Kill it! Agh!"

Ikaris comes running back in and Kingo leaps into his arms and says "Safety please!"

Ikaris looks to Sersi and quickly lifts her into his arms too leaving the room. I swat at the tarantula and Druig grabs it by one of its legs and waves it back and forth in front of my eyes. He nods and says "I got it."

I pat his chest and say "Good job big guy."

He nods and I stand up. I look to sprite and she smirks. I roll my eyes and turn towards Kari. I lunge are her but she zooms out of my grasp. Gah!

"Druig grab the other tarantulas for us will ya?" I smile to him

He grumbles and I ruffle his hair while walking out of the room. Thena finally chimes in as she stands literally in the middle of the swarm of tarantulas "I'll kill them for you." Sprite gasps and says "Don't kill them!"

Later that night:

Druig knocks on my door and I open it expecting to see Makkari. My eyes widen and I say "Hi." He nods and says "Sorry, I wanted to talk with you." I nod and say "Come in."

I step away from the door and sit on the edge of my bed. He walks in and shuts the door behind him. What the hell. Okay...

He paces and says "I'm just going to start talking and you just have to listen okay? That's all I ask." I furrow my eyebrows and say "Okay. Go ahead." He nods and says "Like 400 years ago I really messed up. I let my self obsessed ego get the best of me. I had wanted you to see me and be interested in my for 2000 years. I still do. Everything that's happened has only hightened everything between us. I may not be human but I still make crappy, crappy mistakes-"

I cut in "Druig. What is this about?"

He nods and says very nervousily "I can't stop my thoughts Gaia."

I shake my head and say "What?"

He says "I.. I.." He can't get the words out. I pat the spot beside me and he sits down beside me. He puts his head in his hands and says "Ever since the first moment I saw you on the ship and those purple eyes... I was hooked. You make me lose my fucking mind. The one thing I have that's my greatest asset.. and all it ever thinks about is you."

I gulp and he says "I can't take the pain of you not caring for me as much as I care about you." I nod and he says "I literally can't say this enough... I fucked up." I smile and hiccup loudly. He looks to me and I shake my head.

I put my head in my hands and say "Oh my god. I'm so sorry... It's a.." I hiccup loudly and continue "A nervous habit."

He laughs and says "You have no idea how much that eased my nerves. Just like that time we were looking at the stars on the dunes. I wanted to kiss you then so badly but I was reeling from my nerves and then you started hiccuping and it eased my nerves."

I laugh and say "So basically, when you're nervous you blink too much and I hiccup. Boy we are weird aren't we?"

He smiles and says "You can say that again...I wasn't lying when I said Tammy was everything you weren't Gaia."

I stand up abruptly and he says "Wait! Let me explain first." I turn back towards him sighing loudly. Crossing my arms annoyed. He says "I'm meaning that she wasn't you. All I ever wanted was you. She wasn't kind like you. She wasn't anything like you." My arms drop and I say jokingly "So was she good?"

He huffs out a breath and shakes his head. I smile and say "Sorry I'm bad in these kinds of situations." He says "To answer your question, god no. She was horrible. The guilt literally consumed me. She practically did everything herself. After the first time she just started-"

"No. Stop talking."

He nods and stops talking. I cross my arms again debating asking him. I nod my head and say "I still don't forgive you."

He nods and says "I really did think you were going to sleep with Loki."

I tilt my head up and say "Why Loki?"

He smirks and says "He's the most like me." I scoff and say "Don't flatter yourself." He nods and says "Loki is a mind controller, or at least a mind reader, dark hair, blue eyed. Your type."

I shake my head and say "Afraid to break it to you but my type is hot muscular blondes. I mean, Thor did give me a nice lap dance while you were, let's see, fucking that blonde."

He scoffs and says "Are you joking?" I shrug and say "No."

"You were so emotionally cheating on me."

I scrunch my face up and say "Okay, we may have minorly both been in the wrong but you were more in the wrong then me." He swallows his tongue and stays quiet. The thought of Thor giving me a lap dance is leaving him pissed. He stands up abruptly and says "I'll see you.. later."

He leaves the room and after the door shuts I hear the sound of a scream and punch. I peek out the door and see Druig walking away from the dent in the sheetrock. I cut in "Druig."

He turns back around holding his arms behind his back.

"Wanna be my friend date to Ikaris and Sersi's wedding?"

He nods and says "Sure."

a/n: yeah I think I'm gonna change some of the lines in the confrontation chapter. I don't like how I worded somethings within it. I already did cut one comment that took it too far. I'll update you guys when I fix it. Some
of you really do hate Druig right now and that makes me sad. I never intentionally meant to make him come off that badly. Personal experiences of my own really showed through my writing. I have had some disgusting arguments and they influenced my writing. That type of behavior is more Ikaris right? Anyway, I'll rewrite it a little. Is it bad how long this book is? I haven't even started the movie plot yet but it's approaching! Promise. I'm hella self conscious about this type of crap. Soooo, opinions on this chapter? Good
