15. Do What's Needed

Opening my eyes was the start of this new day.

I rolled over but couldn't go far because of the arms that held me close. Chuckling, I nudged him as he started to loosen his grip enough for me to leave the bed.

I put my hair in loose twin braids, throwing a sweater over my body before slipping on some black jeans followed by my normal boots.

I reached under my pillow and retrieved my wand before walking towards the door.

Stopping midway, I turned and quickly walked over to the sleepy boy. He sighed and turned towards me, "Do you really have to go?"

"You know I have to, but I need to sort stuff out first."

"Okay. Fine. Just know that I'll be replaying last night over and over again."

Smirking, he laid back with his messy hair as I walked over and looked down at him, "M'kay. You do that, but I have to go."

He pouted but nodded as I leaned down, slipping my hand behind his ear while we shared a passionate kiss before I turned to leave, only hearing him grunt and sigh behind me, "Stay safe, love."

I didn't stop, but I smiled softly before regaining my posture as I walked through the halls and towards the cellar. The door opened creaking as the sound of my steps echoed along the stone floor. I pulled out my wand and held it before me, "Lumos."

The light appeared illuminating the room as I walked in further, "Luna?"

"Scarlett Grindelwald, is that you?"

The blonde-haired girl with wary eyes and a bruised face appeared from behind a pillar.

I nodded and quickly walked up to her, "Are you okay? They didn't hurt you right?"

"No. They only asked if I knew where Harry was. Don't worry, I've had company."

Another man walked into the light and I took a slight step back knowing I was the one who brought him in, "Mr. Ollivander."

He gave me a solemn nod and walked towards the other wall, going to take a seat. I motioned for him to wait as I conjured up a more comfortable option. I put the couch further into the room and shook my head as I seamlessly conjured up a small bed on the side.

"I'm so sorry this happened to you, Luna."

"Oh, Scarlett, you don't have to worry about me. But thank you for the thoughts, just be careful of the wrackspurts."

She tugged on my arm slightly as I chuckled before she tilted her head giving me a smile, "I know you'll do everything you need to. I trust you."

"I'll get you out of here."

She smiled, "I don't doubt it."

I gave her a nod before taking my leave. I looked back at her as I closed the cell door before walking back up the stone stairs. I walked through the halls but my attention shifted to the noises from the end of the hall, from one of the guest rooms.

I cautiously made my way past each door before reaching the last one.
