The Other Two

Bae pov: "Where the hell am I?" I said, in confusion, looking around. This wasn't the normal underworld entrance. I looked and saw Ollie, who had landed on her head.
"Well mom, it looks like I'm stuck with you..." I sighed. This probably wasn't good since we both sucked at directions and, besides, we have no idea where the hell we even are.

"I'll find the way back," Ollie said, standing up. I stopped her quickly.

"Look, Calli will be pissed if we get lost, so let's be good and stay put." I suggested Ollie didn't seem to be having it.

"I don't care, Calli needs to watch her attitude!" Ollie yelled I began to see her problem with Ollie.

"Look Ollie, stop acting like a mother to Calli. She clearly doesn't like it." I said Ollie looked appalled that I would side with her on this.

"Bae, she is my daughter. I want to have a motherly bond with her!" Ollie said, I shook my head in dismay.

"But Ollie, can't you tell she doesn't want you to be her mother?" I yelled. She shook her head.

"I don't care if she doesn't want it, she doesn't get to choose that!" Ollie yelled, She was being so infuriating.

"Ollie, think about it for a minute for Calli; things are moving so fast she's only known you are her mother for a few days!" I said, trying to explain this to her

"She should still listen to me!" She said she did not understand my point at all.

"Ollie, she'll warm up to this in time, but she needs the time that you aren't giving her!" I shouted

Neither of us wanted to budge on our stances even though someone was clearly in the wrong. Calli would see her as a mother fully eventually, but she needs time to let this information sink in. I now understand this too. Ollie also needs to open up and respect Calli's wishes.

"Ollie, go search for the others if you want.
I'm staying right here though." I sighed. I made sure she heard me call her Ollie instead of mom.

"Bae, I'll ground you if you don't comply!" She yelled. I glared at her, unphased by her anger.

"You are saying this to the goddess of chaos, so you can't ground me." I said, acting all defiant.

"Ughhh fine!" She yelled, sitting down next to me I could tell she wanted to slap me but was restraining herself.

"Ollie I will try to call Calli" I said pulling out my phone but I immediately realized there was no service wherever I was surprisingly the underworld has service

"Damn it, no service..." I groaned, dropping my phone and looking down at the ground.

The two of us sat there in silence. No one knew what to say after our little argument, but Ollie was just being petty as hell. She definitely lost this argument. She just didn't want to admit it because then she would have to be wrong.

"I'm sorry, Ollie, but I have to side with Calli; I can't keep pretending we're a perfect family."I sighed.

"Bae, that's all I want..." Ollie said, gently grabbing onto my hand.

"So why don't you go easy on Calli?" I asked. She shrugged, beginning to ponder my words.

"Calli is being rough on me. I just want to be a mother she can love and turn to," Ollie said.

"But what if Calli doesn't want another mother?" I asked Ollie, who seemed to be listening to my points now.

"I'll try my best, but I don't know if we can be a family." Ollie sighed I know she was truly trying her best.

Even if we can't be close, Calli can't deny we are a family. Even if it's not by blood, you're our mother." I said.

"You are her biological sister though." Ollie said she was right about us already being family, so Calli could accept me, but Ollie is just a stepmother; she doesn't have to accept her, but I think she would accept her given time.

"Ollie, just keep being you. It'll be fine!" I giggled, reassuring her that it would be fine.

"Now Bae, I think we need to discuss your friend Mumei's sadistic..." Ollie said

"Mom, don't start this nonsense..." I mumbled

"What? I just want what's best for my daughter!" Ollie said, getting all defensive.

"I know but attack anyone but Mumei Shea, who is having it rough currently." I sighed.

I began to think Omegaα could have something to do with the broken underworld portal because now I'm out of the way and the council has lost most of its defenders Irys, Kiara, and Calli are all here.

We didn't even know if the others were together or not. Ollie and I could be the only ones that were together. I was starting to worry about how hard it would be for us to be found since we couldn't contact them and we don't know where we are currently.

We waited for about twenty minutes but couldn't sit still for longer. We had to hunt down the rest, so we had to get up and search. Literally two steps away, there was a giant gap in the ground that we almost fell into.

"Oh yeah, I know where we are..." The ground randomly opened up and they still haven't fixed it. There was no way we were getting past here without the ability to fly.

"We're stuck..." I sighed.

Ollie began to think about something, but she immediately became flustered, "Damn it, we're stuck!" She screamed and she began saying vulgar words, cussing like a maniac.

I didn't want to mention that I could go back to council whenever I wanted because Ollie was freaking out and besides, if I left, that would do nothing. I could get Sana, but I don't want to hassle her with this stuff. All we could do is wait for Calli and the others to come for us.
