Memories of the Past

Ollie pov: Life has been odd recently. Riene asked me if there was anything on her back and I wondered if she got a tattoo, but when I asked she got weirdly upset.

I asked Anya if she saw the thing she wanted me to see, but there was nothing.

The second weird thing in my life is that Astel keeps calling me Olivia and is treating me like I'm alive when I'm not and haven't been for years.

Reine somberly went to see Kiara-senpai without saying bye to me, which honestly made me feel a bit sad. I didn't know why she was mad at me.

Did I forget our anniversary or something? I thought to myself, nothing came to mind. I didn't take out the trash, I was told, so maybe she was mad about that.

Next time I'll be sure to take out the trash and I'll wash the dishes too. I won't make any mistakes that would make her mad.

For some reason, something about her back did seem odd to me, but the memory was hazy, so it mustn't have been too important if I locked it in my memory banks like that, or maybe it was a memory I didn't want to forget.

I glared at the mirror but was shocked to see my reflection was Olivia.

"You are an idiot!" Olivia screamed.

"What!?" I yelled in response.

"You heard me, you are an idiot!" She yelled

"How am I an idiot?" I asked.

"You forgot something about the woman you love!" She screamed.

"I didn't forget anything about Reine, so shut it." I said, spitting a bit.

"Tsk... you really are a moron," Olivia scowled.

Suddenly, numbers appeared on the mirror in a fog, and I slowly read out the numbers as they appeared.

"One..." I said as the mirror fogged up more.

"Seven..." I said slowly.

"Three..." I sighed.

"Six..." I stated as I began to get a sharp pain in my head.

"One..." I panted.

"Four..." I growled.

My head hurt like all hell as 173614 appeared before me I didn't know why that seemed familiar, but those digits were inside a flower made of fog and were dead center.

For some reason, that symbol looked familiar.

"Do you remember now!?" Olivia asked.

"No, I don't!" I screamed as I punched the mirror I was shocked to see blood drip from my hand.

The blood seeped down and dyed the flower crimson I felt sick to my stomach when I saw that.

"Hey sis, what's wrong?" Astel asked.

I glared at him with rage-filled eyes and I yanked the shower bar down, running at him. I bashed it into his head. For some reason, I was mad.

"O-olivia!" He shouted in fear.

"I'm sorry...." I said as a sharp pain shot through my head.

Flashback...

"Reine, is that you?" Astel asked.

"Wait, Ollie, what are you doing with that woman?" He asked, pointing at Reine.

"She's my future girlfriend, Aniki." I said. He didn't look pleased.

Ollie, whatever you do, don't associate with that creature," he told me with a worrying tone.

"Aniki, she isn't a creature. You are treating her like a criminal or like her life doesn't matter! " I yelled that I was going to continue, but Reine covered my mouth,

"He's right, we should probably part ways here. I have business in this district anyway. " Reine told me, smiling.

End of flashback...

"Damnit!" I screamed as I put my hand to my head and began to tear the flesh off.

What the hell is wrong with me I didn't know what that was. Why was that so sickening to me? My brother was acting like a complete asshole in that memory.

"That's how things should be." I was by I took the shower bar and smashed the mirror with it and glared at the shards on the ground.

"You really are trying to forget the previous world, huh?" Olivia asked.

"I don't know what you mean!" I screamed as I tried to run, but Astel grabbed me.

"What's wrong, Olivia!?" He asked

"Shut the hell up!" I screamed as more memories flooded my head.

Flashback...

"If she truly wants to love me, then I think she should know not to burden herself with me." Reine cried.

She furiously started tearing off the bandages, revealing a giant crimson flower with the numbers 173614 in the center. Her back was bruised and had deep scars all over her body. She was slightly burnt. I couldn't imagine how much it hurt.

"What is that crimson flower?" I asked in shock. The peafowl turned their heads slightly in order to look at me.

"It's a slave mark..." She mumbled just barely loud enough for me to hear. I was in shock. I saw her trembling. She tried to keep talking, but the words that came out were a jumbled mess.

I stood up and slowly walked over to her and gently wrapped my arms around her, pulling her back closer to me.

"You have nothing to fear. I won't do anything to you, and you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. " I whispered, trying to soothe her.

"Do you promise you won't turn me in?" She asked, her voice still shakey. I nodded. Don't worry, I won't tell a soul what I hear. I said, getting a slight smile from her.

"Alright, I'll tell you..." Reine said.

End of flashback...

"Tell me what!?" I screamed I began clawing at my eyes, desperately trying to get rid of my headache.

"Olivia, I'll call 911 if you need help!" Astel yelled as he pulled out his phone.

"No!" I screamed as I grabbed the shower beam and whacked his phone I kept smashing it to pieces.

"Come on, Ollie, did that jog your memory?" Oliva asked.

"No, not at all, and aren't you just repeating what I've already experienced? Isn't that lazy?" I shouted

"No... I mean I changed the memories a bit," Olivia said, laughing a bit.

"Wait, Reine was a slave..." I said softly I looked at Astel and frowned.

"It is your fault." I snarled as I grabbed the shower bar one last time and loomed over him.

I was going to make him pay...
