LOLA

I stared into his eyes and sighed, why couldn't he see that his best friend is in love with him. And why did we end up kissing if I'm mad at him.

I pressed my lips together and heard the front door open.

"Jennifer's back" I said walking away and heading down the stairs.

I heard Michael's footsteps follow behind me.

"So we got take away" Jennifer held up bags of food and her smile turned into a grin as she looked behind me.

"Hey Michael" Mika said before walking into the kitchen with drinks.

"Yo, wassup" He nodded his head. "You're Lucas' girlfriend, right?"

He stepped onto the same step I was on and put his arm around me. Jennifer gave me a little look making me grin.

"Yes, and soon to be baby mama" She said rubbing her tiny bump. Michael chuckled a little. "And you must be Michael, Lola's boyfriend"

"Nice to meet you" he said sticking his hand out to shake her hand.

"Wow, so gentlemen like" Jennifer said making us laugh.

FRIDAY NIGHT

"Wait, who's party is it?" Luke asked Haley as they drove to the address Lola had sent them. He wore a red top with black jeans and two gold chains curtesy of his big brother Jamal.

"I don't even know, Lola started rambling on about some girl that fancies Michael"  Haley shrugged losing onto Luke's hand as he drove. She wore a black bandeau top and a matching midi skirt with sandals. She wore her hair out in its curls and had little makeup on.

"Who?" Luke asked.

"If I knew her name I would've told you" Haley said.

Luke looked over at her raising his brow.

"Look back at the road" she blushed giggling a little.

She turned up the volume in the car and turned to look out the window as Jeremih played through his speakers.

They pulled up to a normal sized house with cars parked on the lawn and people rolling through the front door.

7:56PM - LOLA

"Heyyy!" I yelled over the music hugging Haley and Luke. "You guys okay?" 

"We good" Luke stated

I wore a skirt and a long sleeved white turtle neck and left my fro out.

"Your hair looks so cuteeee" Haley complimented me.

"Thanks"

Shamika popped out from behind me.

"Hey uglies" She said hooking her arm with mine.

"Hey stupid" Luke said.

"Where's Michael?" Haley asked.

"I don't know, he saw someone he recognised and went to say hi" I shrugged.

"Hold up, you're not even supposed to be here in your state" Luke said in a telling off manner to Mika.

"You wanna tell the whole world I'm pregnant" Mika threw her arms out hitting me in the process. I rolled my eyes and looked at her annoyed. She wore tight green cargo pants and a plain white tee.

"I'm just looking out for my nephew." Luke said reaching to tap her stomach.

"Stop it" Mika laughed. "And I'm not drinking anyway. I'm not that bad of a person"

"Wait, are you having a boy?" Haley asked.

"No, they just both want it to be a girl"

"I hope it's a girl" Haley said.

"Same" I cheesed and we started slapping each other's hands.

"Why do you want me to have a girl? They're so annoying and needy" Mika said.

"What are you saying about us then?" I asked crossing my arms and stepping closer to Haley. She copied my movements and crossed her arms.

"You guys know you're exceptions" she rolled her eyes.

"Aight enough baby talk" Luke said standing in the middle of us. "We're gonna have a good time today, but minimum drinking because I don't enjoy dealing with you guys when you're drunk. And no drinks for you Mika"

"I wasn't gonna drink anything anyway" she said.

We all looked at her and raised our brows.

"I was gonna have one drink" she admitted "but I searched it up-"

"Your not drinking Mika" I stated.

"Period" Haley snapped her fingers.

"And we're not fighting no one here or bringing attention to ourselves" Luke added. "I don't care if a rat bumps into you, keep it moving"

"Wow since when did you start acting mature" I asked nudging his shoulder.

"My babys always mature" Haley said grabbing his arm and leading him to the kitchen.

HALEY

We walked into a crowded kitchen with punch on a central table and red cups by the bowl. I held onto Luke's hand as I pushed through a couple. The girl began shouting some slurs but I ignored her.

"You want a drink?" I asked grabbing a cup.

"You know they probably put something inside that" Luke said taking a cup and taking mine off me. He left me waiting at the table and came back with two cans of Fanta.

"Where did you get that from?" I asked watching him pour the juice into our cups.

"Found it in the fridge" he yelled over the music that had gotten louder.

I looked at him in a way so that he knew that I thought what he did was wrong. He shrugged and chuckled a little.

"Everyone goes through the fridge at parties" he said into my ear."I saw a bitten apple in there, so I wasn't the only one"

"But still-"

"There's loads of cans left" he gave me the drink and I sipped on it a little. He smiled at me and put his hand around my waist as he led me towards the music.

LUKE

We were in a large living room, it looked like some of the furniture had been taken out for the party and there were people standing up dancing to the bass of the speakers.

Haley pulled her top up a little with one hand then took another sip from her drink. When she noticed me staring she blushed a little.

"Wanna dance?" She mouthed. I grinned and nodded my head. She looked really pretty in the dancing lights that flashed different colours.

We slowly began swaying to the music together until we started salsa dancing and moving our hips together. I laughed when she spilt her drink a little after getting a little to excited. We kept dancing until we became really close to each other and I placed my hand on her waist as we danced. We began messing around and she told me we reminded her of her parents making me laugh.

She turned around and we one two stepped together with her back against me, grooving to the beat until the song changed.

"Yo I've been practicing my woah" Haley smiled widely turning around to face me.

"Nah you can't embarrass me in public" I said as the words "Where's alexis Texas" started blasting through the speakers.

"Wait look" she laughed moving back so that she had some space. She threw her arm up in the air and woahed on beat.

"I told you" she stuck her tongue out.

"Yo Luke" Michael yelled over the music approaching us. He said hi to the both of us and started dancing a little loosely. He started milky rocking and hitting the folks which created a little crowd.

"Ooh" Haley yelled hyping him up.

"It's coming your way Haley" he said swinging his arms round several times then throwing an imaginary ball to Haley. She caught it and everyone hyped her up as she woahed and begun dancing a little. Obviously being me, I had to be my baby's biggest supporter and I was yelling all types of stuff.

"Oooh shit" I tapped some random guys shoulder. "Did you see that? That's my girl!"

I looked over at her again and my eyes widened. I put my hands around her stopping her from dancing and hugging her.

"Luke!!"

I stepped back a little and pulled her shirt up.

"You had a nip slip" I sighed. "I told you to wear my jacket when we left your house"

"I did not have a nip slip" she said defensively "I woulda felt it"

MICHAEL

I laughed a little as Luke and Haley argued. To be honest I didn't see much but it was obvious her top was falling.

"Heyyy" I felt a pair of arms slip around my waist and smelt cocoa butter.

"Wherever you been?" I said turning around to face Lola.

"I didn't want to watch you socialise with people I don't know so I went to look around with Mika" she shrugged smiling up at me.

"My bad, I'm sorry" I said. I didn't realise she was feeling awkward about it, I was just gonna try and show my girl off but it's whatever. The DJ scratched the beat a little and 'Blueface baby!' rang through the speakers.

"Eeyyyy" I heard Mika coming through the crowd.

"I wanna see you bust down" I said looking at Lola suggestively whole bopping to the beat a little. 

"Nah, nah" Lola shook her head "the people aren't ready for it" she said.

"Humble yourself, I've seen you do it and it ain't even alla that" I said teasing her.

"Woah, woah there" she said tilting her head backwards. Mika appeared by her side in a matter of seconds.

"Reel your neck back in" I laughed.

"Mika lets show him what we're about" Lola said looking over at Mika.

"Oh you're in for a surprise homeboy" Mika said shaking her hands down. They both grabbed the waist of their trousers/skirt and begun moving to the beat until bust down thotiana played again.

They were doing way better than the last time we danced to the song and they even slowed down in sync.

"Waittt" Haley said coming from behind me. She squeezed past me and joined in with them holding onto her boobs this time round.

"What? So I gotta bust down but you can't?" Lola smirked raising her eyebrows at me. I squinted my eyes at her and moved her out of the way so I was in the middle of Haley and Mika.

JAY

Michael started busting down with his friends as his friend with the long hair continued videoing them. I was hella annoyed. Cecilia told me he would bring them but I didn't believe her. He never really spoke about them to me all that much. And I remember him having a bunch of male friends from the basketball team or something because I ended up going out with his friend at some point. But he doesn't know that.

I sighed a little, since they were here I had to actually do what we had planned to do. Which I will admit sounds like some villain type shit. But it's for a good cause. Our love.

I watched as they kept dancing for a few minutes then walked away to find Cece.

"Hey" I smiled approaching her.

"Did you find him?" She asked putting her drink down.

"Yeah, he's with Lola and her friends" I replied. She rolled her eyes.

"I hate them little twats."

"That's still your cousin" I said wincing. I still found it weird how she envied Lola but it's whatever. I mean, she's really going after boys that she used to- you know what if she's helping me out, I'm not involved 🤷🏾‍♀️.

She side eyed me and I laughed a little.

"Relax, the plan will work. Just be patient" Cecilia said. "Then we can work on King"

"I thought you said he likes you"

"Taylor pointed out he smiles at everyone, the little bitch" she rolled her eyes.

I swear that's her best friend.

"But, I was hoping to find out what uni he goes to"

"I could ask Michael" I suggested.

"He doesn't like King because he got to Lola before he could" she replied.

"But if you end up being friends with Haley you could find out" she smirked.

"Why would she wanna be friends with the girl who stole her best friends man?"

"I don't know, shit like that happens" she shrugged. She then looked behind me and grinned a little. "He's here with Lola."

I turned and saw them at the doorway of the kitchen.

"Oh shit" Cece bent down a little. "They'll freak if they see you with me. Gotta go" she said pushing through people and leaving me by myself.

I turned back around and saw him approaching me. I smiled at him and he smiled back. His smile was so cute.

He stood in front of me then Lola stepped out from behind him.

This bitch.

LOLA

This bitch, I still can't believe that Michael doesn't see it. She legit looked me up and down when she saw me and now she's acting all cosy with him.

"This is my girl I was telling you about" Michael introduced me.

"Lisa, right" she said sticking her palm out with a devilish grin on her face.

"Lola" I corrected her smiling and holding onto Michael's arm.

She bit her lip then smiled.

"How are you enjoying the party? I saw you guys dancing in there with some other people" she said.

"Those are our friends" Michael said.

"They're my family if we're being honest" I said trying not to laugh. It was weird having a big family close to home. I was used to being forced to talk to my baby cousins that lived in other parts of the world.

"Have you guys had any drinks?" She asked.

"No, what's in the punch?" Michael asked.

"I'm not sure, but who cares, it's a party"

Michael laughed a little and I smiled, and tried very hard not to roll my eyes.

She poured Michael a drink then offered me some.

"I'm fine thanks, I like knowing what's in my drink" I said. "And you're driving so you can't get drunk" I told Michael.

"I won't, relax" he said kissing my cheek. "Look she only put a little bit" he said tilting the cup so I could see it was only half full.

I saw Shamika approach us and yell several slurs at the couple stood in her way. "Stop kissing his fucking face, he was just eating out another girls pussy upstairs. Yeah that's right start crying. Men are trash and alla that.... bitch don't cry in front of me-"

"Couples like that annoy me" she said when she finally made it to us. "Did you see her?" Mika stood right in front of Jay complete ignoring her. "She tried to cry on me"

JAY

Is she being for real.

"Yo Mika that's my friend Jay" Michael laughed pointing at me.

She turned to look at me and gave me a nasty stare, then she had the nerve to look me up and down. But I didn't mind because my dress was hugging me in all the right places.

"This the girl you was talkin' 'bout" she asked Lola. Lola nodded her head and after a second or two they busy out laughing.

"Lola, this is my friend don't be rude man" Michael said sticking up for me. #DADDY.

"My bad, Mike" The girl said still cracking up. Her and Lola linked arms and went off somewhere, laughing.

"I'm sorry about them" he said.

"It's okay" I smiled. "If she doesn't like me it's alright"

"It's not even that, she just-"
He cut himself off and chuckled awkwardly.

"What?"

"It doesn't matter"

"You can tell me" I said smiling with my dimples.

"She thinks you like me for some reason. And let me tell you now, trying to keep a straight face when he said that was hard.

"Whattt?" I laughed a little. "What makes her think that?"

"I don't even know" he shrugged chugging his whole drink down. "Ugh, that tastes like shit"

"There'll be better drinks at the after party"

"Theres an after party?" He asked looking interested.

"Well not exactly, kind of. Just come though. You'll like it. It'll be way better than here" I said touching his arm for a couple of seconds.

"Aight. I'll come" he smiled.

// I low-key forgot I was writing a whole book. But it's okay it's okayyy. I can probably update again this week so stay in tune.

And have people seen Michael's gf in real life, she's gorgeous?
