Shamika sat on the side talking with Thomas while watching her friends dance.

"How's your little brother? Last I heard he was obsessed with Fortnite" Thomas asked.

"He still is, the little brat" Shamika said rolling her eyes making Thomas laugh. "I still love him, but what is so good about shorting other people with yo friends"

"Aye don't diss Fortnite" Thomas said.

"Oh you play Fortnite?" Mika gave him a look.

"Don't start judging me now" he argued. "I bet if I taught you how to play you'd like it"

"I doubt it"

"Come over again one time and I'll show you how to play" he suggested.

"What do you mean come over again? I've never been to your house before"

"You're here now"

"Stop playing. This is Khloe's house"

"She's my step-sister" Thomas rolled his eyes. "My mom and her dad are together."

"Wow. Do you guys get along?"

"I guess." Thomas shrugged. "So... do you wanna dance?"

Mika looked over to her friends and twitched slightly when she saw Jared. "I'm not feeling it"

"I promise to give you a good time"

"And what if you don't deliver?"

"I apologise" he grinned making Mika blush. He stood her hand out for her. "Come on, I know you want to"

Mika took his hand and they stood up to dance.

1:37 am

After a while, the party began to die down. Khloe has decided to let people in the pool since her closer friends were still there.

"We should go" Lola told Michael putting her hand on his chest.

He took her hands "Don't you wanna get in the pool"

"I'm getting a little tired" Lola said.

"You sure?" Michael asked wiping away mascara from her cheek. She nodded her head and they headed over to Haley to tell her they were leaving.

"Hey, you're not leaving are you?" Khloe asked.

"I'm a little tired" Lola said, her arm hooked with Michael's.

"I was gonna open up the jacuzzi"

"Girl why didn't you say that?" Lola laughed hooking arms with Khloe and skipping to the jacuzzi further back in the garden. Three stone walls surrounded it and it had a dark ceiling.

Khloe flicked the lights on and turned the jacuzzi on.

Michael walked over with Lula and Haley, behind them Lola could make out a few people following.

"Good thing this thing is massive" Lola stated.

Khloe began to strip down into her panties and bra and slid into the jacuzzi.

"Come on it's warm" she motioned for Lola to come over. Lola stripped down quickly since she was cold and sat next to Khloe.

"Oh this is good" Lola sighed laying her head back.

Eventually, Luke, Haley and Michael had gotten in.

Lola laid her head on Michael's shoulder and looked up at Thomas and Mika who had made their way over.

"You gonna get in?" Lola asked Shamika. "It's so warm"

"I'm not really feeling it"Mika said.

"Are you sure? I'll go in with you" Thomas said.

She shook her head and crossed her arms reluctantly. "I just don't wanna get in"

Haley and Lola shared a look, then they both began to get out.

"Where are you going?" Khloe asked.

"I really honk we should go" Lola said. "Sorry, it really isn't personal"

"Okay, let me walk you guys out then" Khloe hopped out and grabbed her dress. She slid it on over her head.

"Lola, this feels so good"
Michael said."I don't wanna go"

"We'll get an Uber" Lola said.

Michael grunted and stood up.

"Fine I'll take you home"

"Thanks" Lola giggled she slid her outfit back on and shivered. She felt Michael place his jacket over her back"

She turned and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"Let's go then, cos I'm freezing" Michael said heading into the house quickly.

"I'll see you guys" Luke mumbled, his eyes were shut and he relaxed.

They said goodbye and they all walked back into the house. They met Michael by the front door.

"Wait I left my bag" Lola said running back into the dining room.

When she got back they opened the door.

"Hey daddy" Khloe smiled at the elder white man that walked in. Michael slipped past him.

"Hii" the girls smiled.

"Did the party go well?" He asked.

"Yeah there's just some people in the back" Khloe said.

"There better not be anyone in the jacuzzi" he mumbled walking down the corridor.

"Well.." Khloe followed her dad.

"Damn.Her dad actually let her have a party" Haley said.

They walked out the house and down the steps. Another white guy approached the house after shutting the Mercedes parked in the front.

Lola looked over at him for a second and her heart skipped a beat. He kept walking into the house and Lola stopped.

"Lola" Mika looked back at her. "Why'd you stop?"

She started breathing heavily as memories of that night flickered through her brain. A tear ran down her cheek.

"Shit! It's him isn't it?"
Haley said. Lola sprinted towards Michael's car.

"Lola wait!" Haley ran after her, Lola made it to the car quickly and slid into the passenger seat.

"Let's go" Lola told Michael.

"Michael!!" Haley yelled. "He's here!!!"

Mika called the police.

"Michael just go" Lola cried.

He got out of the car. "What?!" He walked quickly towards Haley.

Haley was panting at this
Moment "The guy that did it"

Michael ran towards the house and Haley followed him.

Mika shut her phone off when he police told her they were on the way.

"The police are coming"
Shamika told Lola opening the car door. Lola had streaks in her makeup but she seemed to no longer be crying.

"I just don't wanna have to deal with this shit" Lola said staring ahead of her.

"There's a lot of tough shit people go through. But we gotta keep on pushing" Mika said.

Lola turned to face her and grinned slightly. "You sound so... different"

"I'm pregnant" Shamika blurted out.

"Wait-what-I- How?" Lola stuttered.

"Lola!" Haley yelled running back over to them . "Michaels gonna kill him!!"

"For goodness sake" Mika laughed.

"I'm being serious" Haley panted "he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and is looking for him.

"He's gonna go to prison if he stabs a white man" Mika said.

Lola stood up and sprinted into the house.

"How is she so quick?"
Haley panted.

"Don't worry" Mika rubbed her back "just walk back with me"

Lola looked into the living room and then the dining room. She heard people screaming in the back garden and ran towards the commotion

"Now young man, put the knife down" Khloe's dad said.

"Do you know what this sicko did?" Michael spat waving the knife about. Khloe's dad stood between the guy and Michael.

"No, what did he do?" Khloe's dad said in a calming tone.

Michael licked his bottom unconsciously. "He raped my girlfriend."

"What?" Khloe looked at her uncle in disgust. "Of course it was you"

Lola slipped through the crowd "Michael stop it" she said approaching him slowly. He looked so hurt and angry, his nose began to flare uncontrollably.

"Baby, he hurt you" Lola just slid her hands around his waist and held him close. Tears cascaded down her cheeks.

"Don't do anything or you'll get in trouble. I'd rather you didn't go to prison" she tried to joke.

"Lola-"

"The police are coming" she whispered.

The man, her uncle started heading back into the house.

"Where do you think you're going?" Khloe asked.

"I'm not gonna stand there and be accused of raping that girl there" he said. His eyes darted around, looking at the crowd, audience that where watching him.

"Daniel" Khloe's dad spoke. "Did you do it?" He turned to face his brother.

Daniel looked around, it was clear everyone was against him now. "She fucking asked for it" he stated.

"Oh no you didn't" Shamika shouted. "The fuck you mean she asked for it." She yelled. She had pushed past people and was putting her hands all up in his face.

"Move your ghetto hands away from my face." He said.

"Uh uh. Now you a racist too?" Shamika said.

"I'm not racist" he said.

"Sure you ain't mister" Shamika said looking him up and down.

He turned around to leave but his brother grabbed him.

"I should've listened to Maggie when she said you were touching on her. Now she's gone"

Khloe watched her dad drag her uncle into the house and reared up, she covered her mouth and ran off.

Lola held onto Michael tightly as he rubbed her back.

"Can we go?" She asked. "I wanna go"

"You gotta wait for the police" Haley said.

Luke approached them. "Big sis?" He held his arms open and Lola slipped out of Michael's grasp and hugged Luke.

"It's over now" he reassured her.

Michael and Lola wandered around until the police would show up.

"What do you think will happen now?" Lola asked.

Michael shrugged. "I just hope he doesn't get off so easily."

Lola inhaled deeply and felt Michael hold onto her hand. She turned to face him and bit onto her bottom lip hard.

"Now everyone's gonna know I got raped" she said on the verge of tears again.

Michael took her other hand when he noticed how her bottom lip began to quiver. He pecked her temple, then her forehead and kept placing quick kisses all over her face making her giggle.

"Michael stooop" Lola giggled.

She began to tilt backwards on one leg as she left and Michael held her from the back so she wouldn't fall.

"You good now?" He asked after she had stopped laughing.

"Mhmm" she nodded with a small smile on her face.

He kissed her on the lips sweetly until they heard sirens a few seconds later.

After questions were asked and Daniel was taken into custody, Michael took Lola home and Luke followed with Shamika and Haley in his car.

Luke dropped the girls off and drove home after saying his goodbyes.

"Do you want me to stay?" Michael asked. Lola stood on the steps leading to the door and hugged Michael around his neck with her eyes shut. She was beginning to adore his scent and really didn't want to let go.

"My dad wouldn't be too happy seeing you in the morning" Lola said.

"Don't stress Lola" he said pulling away from her to stare at her face. "I don't want you to cry" he wiped the tears she had she's from underneath her eyes.

"I can't promise that" she laughed nervously.

"You gotta promise you won't cry" he said sticking his pinky out. She hooked her pinky in his.

"I promise then" she rolled her eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me" he exclaimed tickling her waist a little.

"I didn't do anything" she smiled kissing his cheek. "I'll see you" she walked into her house.

"I'll come by later"

He waved goodbye and drove off in his mum's car.

Lola went straight up to her room and saw that Shamika had changed and Haley was taking her pyjamas out.

"Are you okay?" Mika asked.

Lola just nodded and began changing too.

"Forreal forreal?" Haley asked.

"Imma be okay guys" Lola said sitting sliding her shorts on. "Anyway." She began "I'm not the one whose pregnant."

"She finally told you" Haley sighed as if she'd been holding her breath for a long time.

"You told Haley but you didn't tell me!?" Lola raised her eyebrows.

SUNDAY

Cecilia sat opposite the girl she met at the party in a cafe. She didn't know why she agreed to meet up. She was now sure Michael never liked her but there she was, plotting against Lola, who she had found out is her cousin too.

"You look tired" the girl laughed.

"Well thanks" Cecilia said not knowing what to say. She sat there not knowing what to say. "How'd you know Michael?"

"We've been friends forever." She smiled. "I was a proper tomboy so we were like bros. That's why he calls me Jay" Jasmine said.

"Cute" Cecilia said.

"When we got to like 15, I started crushing on him. When we got to 16 he started getting  a bit more sexual with girls in general. He'd tell me about all his conquests or whatever and how he'd never cuff the hoes at school"

"Great" Cecilia sighed.

Jasmine laughed. "Don't take it personally."

"So did you guys ever hook up?"

"Once But it was at a party and  I don't think no he remembers. We were both drunk. And I was high so it might not have even happened to be honest. But I remember us going into a bedroom."

Cecilia raised her eyebrows at her. "Are you guys still friends?"

"Barely. We were supposed to hook up but that stupid Lola girl had an emergency or some shit"

"That happens often" Cecilia laughed. "You know she's my cousin"

"What!" Jasmine exclaimed. "That could help us you know"

"How?"

"Wait, Do you even like her?"

"No. She thinks she's alla that and then some" Cecilia rolled her eyes.

"Your gonna have to pretend you like her for a while" Jasmine said taking her phone out.

In the morning Lucas left the girls at home to go to church. The police had contacted him in the morning about what had happened although Lola had told him when they had gotten home.

"I'm sorry I can't get you being pregnant off my mind" Lola squealed. They sat in the kitchen and Haley was making them breakfast and Lola was making herself a hot chocolate since the others didn't want any.

"I know right" Haley smiled widely.

"When are you gonna tell your dad?" Lola asked.

"I don't know" Mika shrugged.

"As co-godmother, I think I should get to name the baby" Lola stated.

"No way" Mika laughed. "If Imma be a single mother imma choose the baby name."

"You know we're here for you Mika?" Haley said.

"This baby basically has 3 mothers" Lola said.

"Y'all are gonna make me cry" she laughed pretending to cry.

"How's Thomas?" Lola asked.

Shamika stayed mute.

"Does he know about..." Haley rubbed her stomach as a sign.

"Noo. It's just the way I said no to getting into the jacuzzi"

"Would you ever tell him what Jared did?" Lola asked.

"I told you I fell" Shamika said.

"Cut the bullshit" Lola said.

"He just happened to be there too." She shrugged.

"And the rest of the bruises?" Haley asked.

"They May have been him but-"

"But what?! You can't give him excuses for hitting on you!" Lola said.

"Well I'm sorry. It's happened now. What do you want me to do? It's not like we're still together."

"But your carrying his child now. He may not wanna be here now but he'll come around eventually. And then what are you gonna do?" Haley asked.

"Guys. He said he doesn't want the kid. So he won't. The baby is all mine" Mika said.

"Fine" Lola said. She could see it was getting tense in the room and didn't like it. "What did Thomas say after then?"

"Not much. Which is annoying because before that we were having a good time."

Haley placed their plates in front of them and sat down.

"It doesn't matter though because I'm not gonna date again. This baby is my priority right now." Mika said.
