Sam

I clung onto Charlie's neck with all of my strength, just realising now just how much I missed him. I remembered the attic with that creepy foster father, the museum trips, the hours he worked just so we could go. He gave up everything for me. Even his childhood. 

"Are you alright?", He whispered in my ear, obviously weirded out by the sudden affection. I just nodded my head into the crook of his neck. After a few more minutes, I let go gently as I turned to look at him with a tear filled face. He laughed at me quietly as he patted my head and ruffled my hair.

"Is this the same Sam I remember?", He said in a joking voice as I playfully punched his shoulder, nodding my head as Ebony and James came forward. 

James ran quickly into Charlies arms as Ebony stood there awkwardly with no one to hug herself. Charlie gave her a small nod as she gave him a huge smile, as though she was expecting him to completely ignore her. 

"And you are?", He asked her as her shoulders dropped slightly. 

"Um, I'm your cousin, Ebony", She said with a small smile as he nodded, clicking his fingers.

"Yeah sorry, of course, it's been a very long day", He said with a grin though I could tell he was lying for her benefit from the look on his face.

"What the hell happened?", Jules asked out of nowhere, running quickly towards Charlie and helping him up onto his feet as he looked at her in confusion. She gave Charlie a small nod towards James. Charlie sighed at glared at her for a moment.

I stared at him, expecting him to lie to me yet he said nothing and gripped onto his arm in pain, going back towards Raymond who was sat there with a cross look on his face, reconnecting wires into his arm. 

"James, I think we need to sit down and talk", Jules said to him, kneeling down to his height as he stared at her in confusion before Adam led them into a separate room so they could have privacy. 

"What happened with the Spanish?", I asked Charlie as he looked at Adam for approval. As Adam nodded his head, I quickly sat down with my legs crossed, Ebony beside me.

"Hey Ebony, we have a cool movie in the cinema room that you can go watch with the others", He said to her as she crossed her arms over her chest in a defiant matter.

"I know you guys are the Italian mafia and evidently you guys have had a long feud with the Spanish", She said coldly as all the cousins, brothers, grandfather and uncles look quickly in her direction for a moment with a shocked look on their face before looking back towards each other, their eyebrows raised with a deep sigh. 

"Alright fine, but do not tell your other cousins about it", Adam said firmly as she nodded her head. 

"I haven't told them for ages, why would I start now?", She said in a sassy tone as Adam gave her a sharp look, causing her to look at the floor trying not to make eye contact. She then sat down next to me with her legs crossed, her arm on my shoulder as I tried with every morsel of my body not to throw her hand off me.  

-----------20 minutes later-----------

"So Jules and James are related to the Spanish Mafia?", Ebony asked with widened eyes as she looked at me, expecting my own surprise as I stared at her with a straight face. 

"Why didn't you tell me in the car on the way here", She asked me with a hurt look on her face, moving her arm from my shoulder which didn't bother me in the slightest.

"James didn't know and it wasn't my information to tell. If I was going to tell someone, I would of told him first and even then, I would never of unless it was a life or death situation", I said confidently as Adam and Leo gave me a look of pride.  I had no clue where Aiden, Max and Chris had disappeared off to and I'm actually happy they aren't here. 

I didn't want to answer the millions of questions that they had about Jules and James. Ebony nodded her head in agreement before turning back towards Charlie as Raymond applied cream to his face, being extremely careful with him. 

"Did they hurt you in anyway?", Ray asked me slowly as both Adam and Leo stared at me in anticipation.  I shook my head as they all let out a breathe in relief. 

"What did they do then?", He asked as I shrugged my shoulder.

"They put me in a room and covered my up in blankets and made sure I was warm and left me to it", I said quickly, tucking my knees up to my chest, uncomfortable with all the eyes watching me. They nodded their heads to each other before their phones all rang at once.

"What do you mean they got away?", Adam yelled quietly into the phone as Leo was asking the exact same thing to someone else. 

"Well find them and make it very clear the rules we set are to be followed", Adam hissed into the phone as Scar face walked off towards the exit after a very sharp look from Adam and Leo. 

"Is everything alright?", Charlie asked in a strained voice, trying hard to deal with the pain in his left arm as Raymond quickly grabbed his arm gently and applied more cream. 

"So, why did you let them go? The Spanish?", Ebony asked as Adam turned to her. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair, obviously stressed now that they were wandering about. 

"They had information needed about accounts, shipments, suppliers, everything involved in their business that we could take control off, however they ran and escaped before they told us everything", He said in a harsh tone though we knew not to take it personally.

I sat for a moment before remembering the hundreds of documents and accounts I went through, with thousands of names and numbers.

"Would they of been in the office?", I asked him as he turned to me in confusion with a nod. 

"I saw them", I said quietly as my family quickly looked at me sharply. I sucked in my breathe due to the amount of attention they were all giving me. 

"Do you remember anything?", Adam asked me, knelt down to my level with a smile on his face, trying to make me feel relaxed as he must of noticed how uncomfortable I was. I nodded slowly with a matching smile.

"I remember everything", I said as they all looked at each other in excitement. They quickly gave me paper and asked me to write down any key names and how they were relevant to the Spanish. I wrote down hundreds of names with as much detail about who they are and why the Spanish used them. 

After an hour or so of constant writing, we heard yelling from the same room Jules and James were in. A few seconds later, things were being thrown around the room in anger as James ran out the room, pacing down the dark hallway. Ebony and I quickly rushed after him as I wrote down the final name. 

"Be safe", Adam yelled out to us as Charlie watched us quickly follow James down the hallway and into a seemingly empty room. We entered slowly and closed the door behind us. We were in a large empty office space with thirty or so cubicles with computers and desks parted perfectly from each other. 

We heard a quiet sobbing noise as we slowly crept around the office space, trying to find James. We got all the way to the corner one to see James tucked under the desk, his head in his hands as he cried softly to himself.

"James?", I said quietly as he looked up with tears streaming down his face. We both sat next to him as we shuffled up closely, Ebony putting an arm around him as he cried into the nook of my neck.

"My father is dead", He said in a muffled voice as he was speaking into my skin. I looked at Ebony as she nodded her head as she played with James's hair, calming him down as he sniffled.

"I need to tell you something", He said in a croaky voice as we both nodded.

"My family is the Spanish mafia and my mother is the donna", He said slowly, expecting a huge reaction from us as we both sighed, nodding our heads. 

"We know", Ebony said quietly as James quickly turned to her, a confused look on his face. 

"How?!", He asked loudly, still crying. 

"Charlie told us", Ebony said quickly.

"And Jules told Charlie", I said straight after. Telling him right now that our family is the reason why his family is dead is not the right thing to say, especially since he is in this state. He nodded as he put his head back onto my shoulder.
