Sam

Adam was pacing the living room as Raymond looked at my leg, he was into his third year of Med school at university which is why he is never around the house, always studying. He might be one of my favourites just because he's smart. Though right now I was uncomfortable with him touching me, I could bare it, as I knew he was just trying to help. Even Charlie seemed to be chill with it, however whenever he moved he would groan yet he would keep making sure that I was alright.

Max, Aiden and Chris was sat in front of Leo and Adam as Leo just glared into Max's soul and Adam paced from the fireplace and back, I was now wrapped in blankets, about 5, with a hot chocolate yet I couldn't drink it yet as Raymond checked my foot, he called it a reward for staying still, which is stupid because I would just stay still anyway.

Though Chris and Max looked like they were about to cry, Aiden looked annoyed more than anything, glaring at Raymond. Was it Raymond's fault he wants to be a doctor? That he actually has ambition in his life rather than just wanting to be Ass all the time?

I've never really thought of what I want to be in the future, it never really occurred to me to want to do something specific, I would rather do many things at different times of my life,  maybe an engineer, a writer in my spare time, maybe start my own insurance company, become a professor when I'm much older.

And I would do it on my own. A boyfriend isn't something I would like. Ever. They are work, more work that doing any sort of homework, they are like emotional rollercoasters in movies, where they always break the girls heart yet returns when she forgives him, which is the most annoying part of movies, who needs someone when you have yourself.

That's what Charlie has always taught me, as if someday he won't be here anymore and I would have to take care of myself. Which I will!

"Ouch", I said abruptly, reaching down to my ankle as Raymond moved it around, Charlie put his arm around me to try and calm me down, it worked.

"Careful", Max said quietly as he didn't look me in the eyes, though Adam gave him a death stare.

"If you hadn't scared her so much then Raymond wouldn't have to watch it", Adam shouted as I cuddled into Charlie, I've always hated loud noises, it seemed to be much louder for me than anyone else as the others didn't react to it, rather they watched me hug Charlie.

They looked at us with full on jealousy, the only emotion I'm good at telling, even Adam, as if he would thought he would be a favourite brother just because he was the eldest. Leo smiled though, as if liked his youngest siblings getting along like this. He sighed deeply, some in annoyance, some in thought.

"Adam, you can't pace all night. We need to give them a punishment, Charlie, who was actually involved and who did what?", Leo said to Charlie, a serious look on his face as if daring Charlie to lie. Charlie never lies, ever.

He paused for a moment, debating whether to tell the truth or not, he kind of had no choice as he groaned in more pain as they looked at him with worry, though they tried to hide it. He just sat back into the sofa as he tucked his arms around me, maybe he thinks I'm going to run away or something because of Raymond.

"Chris wasn't involved. He tried to tell them to leave us be yet they just ignored him", Charlie stated loudly as Chris gave him a small smile, in which Leo nodded, as he already thought that Chris wasn't involved. Max and Aiden just nodded as well, proving to Adam that they were all telling the truth.

"Alright, and what about these two dipshits", Adam asked, pointing at Max and Aiden as they just sat there is quiet, Max sometimes glaring at Raymond whenever I would move in pain from my ankle. He looked rather worried though, like how he looked when I was climbing down the drainpipe.

"Aiden slammed me into the marble whenever I would try and help Sam", He said quietly as Aiden shook his head slowly as Adam raised his eyebrows.

"Would you disagree Aiden?", Adam asked as he stayed quiet, not daring to answer him despite his clear annoyance on his face.

"How is this fair?", He asked Adam and Leo as they just glared at him, standing up and glaring down at them, as if daring him to go against the both of them.  Aiden seemed to back down as he sat properly in his seat and Max just kept his eye on Raymond, in which Raymond paid no attention to Max, rather just ignored him, I have a feeling that they don't get along very well.

"Explain to me how this is unfair", He asked Aiden as he looked at me and Charlie. He waved his hand at us.

"We just wanted to have a chat with them, get to know our little sister more yet they just ignored us, I was trying to know what she is all about, I mean there is something wrong with her!", He yelled at Adam. Adam grabbed him by the collar and glared at him, Leo quickly stood up and pulled Adam away, setting Aiden back onto the seat.

"Shut the fuck up bro", Charlie yelled at Aiden as the others looked at him, then at me as I covered my ears. Charlie never yelled. Ever. Charlie realised this as he gave me a smile though it turned back to a face of disgust as he turned back to the others.

"There is nothing wrong with her whatsoever. She's a little different to us sure, maybe a bit weird to you, but to her your the weird ones, yet she still accepts you as you are, it's such a dick move to not do the same thing back. She's ten for gods sake! If she doesn't like you, maybe she's not the problem?", He said back, his voice getting higher as he shouted. I grabbed his hand with my own trying to calm him down.

I nodded at them as Max looked down to the floor, though Aiden looked me dead in the eyes, I didn't back down though, we just stared at each other as Leo looked at us back and forth.

"Alright. New rule set. If Sam says she does a certain thing her way, we accept that and do it the way she likes, alright? No questions unless you disagree and it might be dangerous for her. Understood?", Adam asked them all as they all nodded, saying yes in union with eachother.

I also nodded which made them all smile, shaking their heads and I looked up the Charlie. I pulled him down and whispered in his ear.

"I'm hungry", I whispered to him as the others just watched, there smiles now gone. Charlie just nodded as Raymond went out of the room, telling us he was just grabbing something.

"I'm sorry Sam", Max said out of nowhere, finally looking me in the eyes, I could see the sincerity, the regret on his face for what he did. I stared at him for a moment. Should I forgive him?

It would be the mature thing to do. Though I did want to punish him slightly as we stayed sat in silence, though he was waiting for my response as Charlie raised his eyebrows at me.

"Okay, but I want something in return", I said quietly as he grinned at me, showing of his perfect teeth, they all had perfect teeth, the bonus of being rich. Charlie just shook his head at me, already knowing what I was about to say.

"Ice-cream. For a month. Mint choc chip. Whenever I want ice-cream, you take me.", I said with a small smile as he nodded quickly, laughing slightly as Adam and Leo smiled, though I could tell it wouldn't be the only punishment.

"Fine. As long as it's not too much to the point where you feel sick. Your still a kid so it's alright by me", Adam stated as he tried hard not to smile, though I could tell he was happy that we were finally getting along.

Life is too short for grudges.

"Your both grounded for a month, no girls nor parties, and I was the keys to your cars. You will still be punished no matter how kind Sam is about forgiving you. Also, Aiden please apologise to Charlie", Leo stated at Aiden and Max just nodded, not even bothering to argue. They were adults yet still acted like children, I guess that's what having no mother means to a kid, they mature slowly.

"I'm sorry Charlie, if you need ice-cream, I'm happy to supply it", He said with a small smirk as Charlie shook his head. Though I could tell Charlie didn't actually forgive him, I wouldn't either to be honest but Max looked so upset.

"Whatever man, as long as Sam's foot is alright", He asked Raymond, who had now returned with a small bandage for my foot, nodding along.

"She should be fine, she sprained it pretty badly so I'm gonna have to bandage it all up, should be on for a few weeks, in that case, I'm sure Charlie will be happy to carry her about if she needs anything, and the maids will be happy to provide anything she needs when your at school", Raymond said happily, bandaging and cleaning my foot quickly and efficiently, though he was gently and kind about it.

"Alright, lets forget it for now. Who wants pizza and a movie?", Leo asked, clapping his hands together, it was 11 at night, I would never eat at this time, yet I was starving.

Everyone put their hands up, including me.
