"Do you wanna ride?" I blurt out. Dean's smile fades,

"W-what?" He asks.

"Do you wanna ride?" I ask.

"What if I fall off?" He asks.

I pull myself into the saddle, and offer Dean my hand.

"Well ... You'd better hang on then," I say giving back the smirk he gave me earlier.

Dean chuckles, which makes my heart flutter. He accepts my hand, and gets himself situated behind me.

"Now what?" He asks.

"I'd put your arms around my waist if I was you," I say.

"No," Dean says flatly.

My heart sinks a little. I look down at my outfit, did I look bad? I mean, I am wearing a black tank top, ripped jean, and my boots, and my hair was French braided.

"Fine your choice," I say trying not to show my disappointment,"But your gonna regret it."

"Wha ...?" He says, but doesn't get to finish, because I kick Moe, and he takes off.

I turn around, and see Dean laying on the ground. I turn Moe, and begin laughing at Dean, who's trying to pick himself up off the ground.

"How'd that ground taste?" I ask.

Dean just scoffs, and climbs back up behind me, but this time, he puts his hands tightly around my stomach, not my waist. I kick Moe, and instantly feel Dean tighten his grip. Rounding the last barrel, I let go of the reins, throw my hands over my head as if I'm on a rollercoaster, and laugh. I can feel Dean smile, as he puts his face in the crook of my neck, making me blush. Grabbing the reins again I slow Moe down, and turn him to walk out of the arena. I motion for Dean to hop off, and he does. I go to get off as well, but my foot gets caught in the stirrup, and fall. I close my eyes, and wait for the impact of my body to the ground, but ... Don't. When I open my eyes I'm not face to face with Dean, but my ex-boyfriend Ty.

To me Ty wasn't more attractive than Dean. Ty had blue eyes, dirty blonde surfer hair, but his plumps lips were begging to be kissed, and he stood a good 6 foot. Ty was wearing his casual wear, jeans, a graphic t-shirt, and his boots.

"Zee, are you okay?" Ty asks as he sets me on my feet.

"Yeah I'm fine," I say quickly turning around. Deans still standing beside Moe.

"Where you been? Its been over two years, you haven't returned my texts, my calls, my snaps on Snapchat," Ty adds smirking.

"Ty, I've been at boot camp for the past two years," I say flatly taking off Moe's saddle, and loading it up into the trailer.

"Boot camp? Well sweetness what did you do that was so bad?" He asks pushing a strand of hair out if my face.

I look over at Dean for help. Dean clears his throat, and Ty sends him a glare,

"Who's he?" Ty asks.

"His name is Dean, and if you excuse me Ty, I have to take Moe to the round pen." Ty steps in front of me,

"Why was he riding with you?"

"Cause I wanted him too, okay? And so what if he did? Were not dating anymore Ty, I broke up with you ... Remember?" Ty's eyes looked like daggers getting ready for the kill,

"What's wrong with you Zee? Are you really gonna leave me for a guy like him? An uptight, no good, downright stuck up, city slicker?!" Ty steps toward me, but I don't move.

"I'm not dating him you idiot, I'm single!" I shout at him, and push him back out of my personal space.

Ty smacks me across the face. I glare at him, and punch him square in the jaw, making him stumble. I turn, and go to walk away, but Ty grabs me, and turns me to face him.

"Let me go!" I yell.

"No," Ty says, and tries to kisses me.

I head butt him, grab his arm, flip him over my head, and pin him to the ground with my knee in his back.

"Leave me alone Ty," I say through me teeth, "Cause next time I won't be so generous." I let Ty go, and walk to Moe, and begin taking his bridle off.

Deans standing next to Moe, mouth wide open. I take my finger, and push his mouth closed.

"You're gonna catch flies with your mouth open like that," I say.

"Sorry," Dean says, "Its just I've never seen a girl fight like that before."

I blush, and begin to lead Moe to the round pen. Dean follows me, but I don't mind. I unclip Moe's halter, and tie it to the round pen.

"Your pretty independent aren't you?" Dean asks.

"Well when your alone for most of your life because you don't know your dad, your mother sides with step father, and all you have is the fascination of the supernatural ... So yeah, I'm pretty lonely," I reply.

"You believe in the supernatural?" Dean asks.

I nod, and pull out my anti possession bracelet. Dean chuckles, and holds out his wrist. On it is a leather band, which holds, an anti possession symbol hanging from it.

"I also have this," I say pulling out my switchblade. One side was silver, and the other side was Iron. Dean whistles,

"Its a beaut, and I'm not just saying that cause your cute."

"You think I'm cute?" I ask him.

"No," he says.

My heart feels like it just jumped off a 10 story building, and hit the concrete, but didn't he just say ... Damn stupid emotions. I wanna cry, but Dean takes my hand, and holds my face up to where I look into his eyes.

"I think your beautiful," he says.

I can feel the heat spread across my cheeks. Dean chuckles, lacing his fingers through my own. I smile, and we begin to walk through the booths. For the rest of the day, Dean, and I walked through the grounds hand in hand. He would ask about boot camp, which I didn't mind, but I was a little sad because I may never see Lela again. Its getting late, so Dean, and I go to say goodnight, and goodbye to each other.

"So ... I guess I'll see you at school?" Dean asks.

School? Oh yeah ... I totally forgot.

"Yeah, but its gonna be weird ... I haven't seen anybody for awhile," I say shyly.

"I'll introduce you to my friends," Dean says grabbing my hand again,

"You won't be alone ... I promise." I smile at him,

"Well I'll see you tomorrow then."

"Good Bye Zee," Dean says.

"Bye Dean," I answer, and run off to load up Moe.

My mom, and Russell are waiting in the truck for me.

"Where were you?!" Russell exclaims.

"Honey I thought we weren't gonna do this," my mom pleads, but Russell ignored her.

"We've been sitting here for thirty minutes, waiting for you! Where were you?!"

"None of your business! The only one that has a say over me, or what I do is my mother!" I scream at him.

Russell's slap to the face hurts worse than the one Ty gave me. I grab my cheek, and glare at him, and refuse to cry in front of him.

"You think that's gonna make me listen to you?" I ask him.

Soon Russell's out of the truck, my mother doesn't move she sits there in her sear frozen in fear, just as Russell yanks me out of the truck.

"You disobedient little bitch!" He growls at me, "I'm gonna do what your mom should've done to you years ago."

And with those words, he punches, and kicks me, while my mother is frozen unable to move as she watches her daughter get beaten. The pain hurts so bad, I can't move without almost crying in pain. I hear Russell's door slam, the truck revving, and the trailer being pulled behind. I hear hooves near my head, and then I feel Moe's nose against my cheek. Moe lays down beside me, and I snuggle against him for warmth. Into his coat I cry, I let my tears pour down my face. I feel myself losing consciousness, when someone shouts my name. I can hear Moe snort, as a warning not to come closer. I can't see anything now, my eyes are swelled shut from how many times Russell hit me.

"Zee!" I hear Dean's voice, and a wave of relief washes over me.

That's all I hear, before Dean pulls my body against his, and I black out.
