I pinch myself again, just to make sure everything that happened yesterday wasn't a dream. Cal left a note saying that he had gone on a run and not to go anywhere so we could share the news with everyone at breakfast. I stand up and make my way over to the closet, but before I can even walk inside, there is a knock at the door. It's probably just Cal. When I pull the door open, it's Evangeline standing in the doorway.
"Where's your fiancé?" She asks.
"H.. how did you know?" I stammer
"Please, you think I couldn't sense that ring in his pocket."
"Don't worry I haven't told anyone."
"Now give us a look," Eve says.

I give her my hand and she examines the shimmering ring. Cal steps into the room and raises an eyebrow at the sight of Evangeline looking at my ring.
"Well it's not my fault you picked a metal ring!" I say.
"Fair enough," Cal laughs. "Don't feel to special Eve, your not the first to know."

Now it's my turn to raise an eyebrow.

"Well I asked for your dad's permission," he explains. "And your brothers, and Kilorn's."
I just laugh.
Cal leans over and kisses me on the lips.

"Ew you guys are lovesick," Eve complains.
"And you're not?" I ask.
"Good point," Eve mumbles as she walks through the door.

Once I finished my breakfast I decided that now was the time.
I stand up and say "I just wanna make a date claimer, you better not be doing anything in October."
"Why?" Gisa says.
"Because you'll miss my wedding," I reply.
The room erupts into chatter and at once everyone's standing up and congratulating Cal and I. My mother plants a kiss on my cheek and squeezes my hand.
"Congratulations," she says, trying not cry. It doesn't work.
I pull Julian into a hug. Then Gisa, then Kilorn.
Lastly I pull Cal into a hug and kiss his cheek.
