~3rd POV~

The group heads into the arcade, the sound of children's joyous laughter and teenagers' shouts can be heard. Music plays throughout the whole floor, its up-beat pace making people bob their heads along as they walk. Most of the games in the arcade are older, giving the place a nostalgic vibe. Employees walk around the area, making sure everything works and nobody's stealing. A man behind the prize counter looks like he needs a cup of coffee, only to put a giant-and-over dramatic smile on his face when kids walk by.

"We're here!" Travis yelled in a sing-song voice.

"I got dressed up fancy for this?" Lucinda asked, slightly disappointed and crossed her arms.

"Uh... hey! This is just the beginning! After we've had some fun here, I got us reservations at this new fancy joint in town." Travis announced, proudly.

"Can't play hard in heels, Lucinda?" Katelyn challenged, a smirk playing on her lips.

"At least I CAN play in heels, Katelyn." Lucinda shot back.

Aphmau and (Y/N) laughed. "She's got you there, Katelyn." They said in sync.

"Uh you're ones to talk, Misses I-wear-wedged-shoes-all-the-time-because-I'm-short-potatoes." Katelyn said.

This only made Aphmau and (Y/N)'s smirks bigger.

"You're just jealous because my and Aphmau's height allows people to mistake us for kids, meaning we get the best discounts." (Y/N) said, proudly.

"Okay Katelyn, calm down." Nicole soothed Katelyn, who was getting annoyed by the second.

"Is she okay?" Travis asked, slightly worried.

"She's fine, Travis. She just... gets irritated easily on dates." Nicole said, making Katelyn snap her head up.

"NICOLE!" Katelyn yelled.

"What, it's true. Every date you've been on, you get so nervous and THIS happens." Nicole said, crossing her arms.

"She's nervous around me?" Travis asked, slowly.

Katelyn's face turns bright red. "WHAT!? NO, IT'S NOT THAT! IT'S JUST- DUH, I'M SO FRUSTRATED!" She yelled angrily.

"Do you need a bathroom break?" Lucinda asked with a smirk on her face.

"Did someone say bathroom?" Cadenza asked with a smile.

"She said it!" Kawaii~Chan said, jumping up and down.

"Yeah, I could totally go to the bathroom right about now." Michi agreed.

"Katelyn, bathroom?" Nicole asked.

Katelyn groaned. "Ugh... fine." She grumbled, her face still beet red.

The group of girls walk into the bathroom, cheering.

"Whoop whoop! We're about to get crunk up in the bathroom!" Lucinda shouted.

"Okay Lucinda, calm down. It's just a bathroom." Cadenza said.

The group of guys, plus Aphmau and (Y/N), all stare in disbelief.

"Um... what just happened?" Travis asked.

"I'm not sure... but I think they're going to plot to kill us." Dante responded.

"Um, shouldn't you be going to the bathroom party?" Aaron asked Aphmau.

Aphmau lets out a laugh. "No. (Y/N) and I know EXACTLY what happens in there. In any case, I'm gonna go grab something to drink. Want to join me?" She said.

Aaron nods, and the two walk away.

"So did you not go with them for the same reason as Aphmau?" Garroth asked (Y/N).

"Yeah. I know EXACTLY what happens in there, that's why I didn't go with them." (Y/N) said.

"Well (Y/N) and gentlemen, should we head off to the arcade to wait for our dates?" Travis asked.

"We're not going to stick together, are we? I kind of want some alone time with Nicole." Dante said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Relax, we're just going to gather there and then we head off and do our own thing until dinner." Travis said.

Garroth laughed. "Are you sure you can keep Katelyn away from Nicole, Travis?" He asked, smirking.

"Those two are like... best, BEST friends." Laurance said, agreeing.

"Are you kidding me? Psch, Katelyn can't keep her hands off me." Travis said, dreamily.

"You mean she can't keep her fists from your face?" (Y/N) asked, smirking.

"Same thing." Travis said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Aww, I'm not going to get a moment alone with Nicole, am I?" Dante groaned.

~Meanwhile, in the bathroom...~

Lucinda peeks her head out the doorway. She sighed. "Darn it, I was hoping Aphmau and (Y/N) would follow us!" She said.

"They're not stupid. Aphmau and (Y/N) know you guys were gonna question them if they came in with us." Katelyn said.

"I can't help it! I really want to know if Aphmau's going out with Aaron! I also really want to know if (Y/N)'s going out with Garroth!" Lucinda whined.

"This would be a first for them since... High School? Aphmau and (Y/N) haven't really fallen for a guy since then." Cadenza said.

"Do you think this date makes things awkward for them?" Lucinda asked.

"I don't think anyone feels awkward. We're adults Lucinda, jeez." Cadenza said.

"True... sorry. Being in this bathroom talking like this just brings back memories." Lucinda said.

"Why are you guys so interested in Aphmau and Aaron's relationship anyway? None of us on this date are actually dating." Katelyn stated.

"Except for you and Travis~" Nicole smirked.

Katelyn groaned. "Ugh... Don't remind me." She said.

"Katelyn~Sama... Aphmau~Senpai and (Y/N)~Senpai being interested in a guy is a HUGE deal!" Kawaii~Chan exclaimed.

"It really is. Speaking of which... if Aphmau does like Aaron and he doesn't like her... Well, I brought a few potions along to help~" Lucinda said, pulling out a glass bottle with a pink bubbling liquid inside.

"Oooh!" Kawaii~Chan exclaimed.

"I'm not saying Aphmau will need them. She's a pure doll and I'm sure Aaron has already fallen for her by now. However, I brought it along in case... anyone needed it." Lucinda said, her eyes lingering on Katelyn.

"Lucinda, if you interfere with Aphmau, I swear I'll-!" Katelyn shouted.

"This old rivalry, huh? C'mon, you know I have the best interest in mind." Lucinda said.

"Just put that away and leave your potions out of this." Katelyn said, sighing afterwards.

"Fiineee. But I'm just saying if anyone needs it, come see me." Lucinda said, putting away the potion.

"Hmm, we'll see." Nicole said.

"NICOLE!" Katelyn shouted.

Nicole giggled. "Just kidding! I mean, I don't know how Dante feels about me just yet. But in any case, let's get back out before the guys think one of us fell in the toilet." She said.

Once all the girls leave, Michi comes out of the stall. "Nya~ Perfect! If Michi's pure charm doesn't work on Aaron, then at least she has a backup plan! Nyah ha ha ha!" She monologues.

~Time Skip~

Katelyn and Nicole verse each other in Skee Ball while Dante and Travis watch from behind.

"I thought you said you could get Katelyn away from Nicole?!" Dante asked Travis, annoyed.

"Hey, it's not my fault they're pretty much attached at the hip!" Travis replied back, also annoyed. "Although, if you don't want Nicole, I don't mind having both of them~" He purred with a smirk.

Katelyn suddenly spins around to face them. "You guys better not be checking us out!" She yelled.

"Oh, come on Katelyn! You can't assume every guy's like that, right Dante?" Nicole said, giving Dante a hopeful.

"O-Oh, r-right! Yeah, sure!" Dante answered, his face turning a light pink. "She is such an angel!" Dante thinks to himself.

"An angel with a BOO-TAY!" Travis responded in thought.

"Travis! Wait... What are you doing in my thoughts?" Dante said in thought.

"I don't know, but let's talk about how fine those girls be looking." Travis replied back in thought, smirking.

"Ew! No, they're NOT 'fine' looking! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Dante shouted aloud.

"What did you say?" Nicole asked, her eye twitching.

A dark aura can be sensed forming around Katelyn.

"Ohh.... shoot." Dante exclaimed, looking down.

Meanwhile, (Y/N) and Garroth are at the claw machine.

"You almost got it, Garroth! Keep going!" (Y/N) cheered as Garroth concentrated on the game.

"Argh... Ahhhh!" Garroth lets out a girly scream. "I got it!" He yelled, victoriously.

"Now all it has to do is make it to the- AHHH!" (Y/N) cheered as the two prizes drop into the hole.

"EEEKKK!" Garroth lets out another girly scream. "IT'S MINE!" He exclaimed, grabbing the two plushies and pulls them out.

One plushie was a purple cat while the other was a (F/C) cat.

"Wait... purple... cat... a (F/C) cat... I... I..." Garroth stuttered as his face crumpled up.

"Oh no." (Y/N) whispered.

Cadenza, who heard Garroth about to start crying, walks over to them. "Garroth, are you okay? You look like you just recalled the memory of long lost beloved pets that found their way into your heart on a cold winter day." Cadenza said.

"I HAVE SO MANY EMOTIONS RIGHT NOW!" Garroth yelled.

 A few rows down, Lucinda clicks her tongue as Laurance lets out a sad chuckle.

"Aww, still hung up over (Y/N)?" Lucinda asked.

"Yeah. I mean, she's doing this to help Travis, so I'm not too worried about her and Garroth. Still, I'd rather just enjoy hanging out with everyone today, so I'm not too hung up over it." Laurance responded.

"Oh, how about we go get some ice cream?" Lucinda asked, giving him a small smile.

"Sounds good." Laurance responded, following Lucinda.

At the entrance of the arcade, Kawaii~Chan and Reese ran up to the prize counter. "COTTON CANDY!" They said in sync. Kawaii~Chan and Reese turn to face each other in surprise. "Huh?"

"You like sweets too?" Reese asked Kawaii~Chan.

"Oh, Kawaii~Chan sure does! She bakes them every single day!" Kawaii~Chan responded.

"Fascinating! What kind of sugar do you use?" Reese said, his British accent making Kawaii~Chan swoon slightly.

"When she can, Kawaii~Chan uses powdered sugar in almost everything!" Kawaii~Chan said, a smile never leaving her face.

"Really? Me too!" Reese said, a smile starting to form on his face.

"You bake?" Kawaii~Chan asked.

"All the time! I enjoy cooking, but baking sweets is my specialty." Reese said, turning to look at the cotton candy machine.

Kawaii~Chan squealed. "He's so dreamy!!" She said.

In the back of the arcade, Aphmau and Aaron get off of the Racing Simulation game.

"Ugh, it's not fair!" Aphmau complained.

"Hey, don't get salty all over it. Third place ain't that bad." Aaron said.

Aphmau turned to him. "YOU PURPOSELY RAN ME OFF THE ROAD!" She shouted.

"What? No I didn't. My hand... slipped, heh." Aaron said, starting to chuckle.

"I SEE YOU LAUGHING THERE! That's it! Let's race again. This time, I won't go easy on you." Aphmau said.

"You call THAT going easy?" Aaron asked, smirking at Aphmau's annoyed state.

"JUST... SHUT UP AND RACE ME!" Aphmau yelled.

"Bring it." Aaron said, a smirk still plastered on his face.

"Hey guys! What's going on here?" (Y/N) said, walking over to them.

"Aaron's cheating!" Aphmau yelled, pointing her finger at Aaron.

"She thinks I purposely ran her off the road." Aaron explained.

(Y/N) laughed. "I do that all the time to Aphmau whenever we play Mario Kart." She said.

Aphmau gasped, looking at (Y/N). "I KNEW IT! YOU DIRTY CHEATERS!" She yelled.

Aaron and (Y/N) high fived each other.

Zane walked up to them. "Already fighting?" He asked, smirking.

"Aphmau's getting virtual road rage." (Y/N) said.

"ARGH... YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ROAD RAGE YET!" Aphmau yelled.

Zane laughed. "Glad to see you two getting along." He said.

Aphmau finally calmed down.

"Zane, where's Michi?" (Y/N) asked, noticing that Michi wasn't with him.

"She went to go get a snack." Zane said.

"Speaking of which, do you want something?" Aaron asked, looking at Aphmau.

"Sure!" Aphmau said.

"Awesome. I'll be right back." Aaron said, walking off.

"Where's Garroth?" Aphmau asked, looking at (Y/N).

"He went to the bathroom." (Y/N) said.

"So, I see things are going well with you two." Zane said, walking over to Aphmau.

"Things are going great! They'll be even better ONCE I KICK HIS BUTT AT THIS RACING GAME!" Aphmau yelled.

"Competitive, eh?" Zane taunted.

"She always gets competitive whenever we play video games together." (Y/N) said.

"OH YOU TWO WANNA GO?!" Aphmau shouted, sassily.

At the prize stand, Aaron is talking to the man.

Michi watches from around the corner. "Haha! Time to see if this potion I nabbed from Lucinda works!" She said, throwing the potion down and it creates a smoke cloud. When the cloud disappears, Michi now looks like Aphmau. "Eh!? What the- This isn't... Wait... I'm Aphmau? Hmm... this actually might work. Let's see if I can do her voice. Ahem." Michi said, clearing her throat. "Aaron! Aaron?" She said, voice too high. "Hmm... Aaron. Hahaha... Perfect." She said, hitting the right tone and laughing. As Aaron walks away with the food, Michi pops from around the corner. "Aaron! Fancy seeing you here!" She said, imitating Aphmau.

"Weren't you just over there?" Aaron asked, pointing over at the Racing Simulation game.

"I was! But I decided to come to the bathroom. I'm just a really fast runner... especially when it comes to chasing down hunks like you." Michi said, winking.

"Umm..." Aaron said, surprised and lost for words.

Garroth and Laurance walk out of the bathroom, then stop when they see 'Aphmau' and Aaron alone.

"Laurance!" Garroth growled, backing up.

"What?! Why are they-" Laurance starts to walk up to them.

"Laurance, don't interfere. Remember, we're taking it easy on this date." Garroth said, pulling Laurance back.

"Oh, Aaron! I'm so glad you brought me on this date! You have NO idea how much I've longed for you to kiss me!" Michi said, getting closer and closer to Aaron.

Aaron tilted his head. "But, we already-" He started, but was cut off by Michi.

"Don't you want to kiss me here?" Michi asked.

"Of course I do. This just isn't like you." Aaron said.

Michi looks away dramatically. "Oh, well then... I guess I'm not worthy enough-" Michi is cut off by Aaron grabbing her and kisses her.

"What... What the...?" Laurance started to shout.

"LAURANCE!" Garroth shouted.

Then... the potion that Michi splashed on herself wore off and she turned back into herself right as Aphmau walks around the corner.

"...Aaron...?" Aphmau whispered in a shaky breath as tears formed in her eyes.

Aaron instantly pulled away. "WHAT!? This ISN'T what it looks like!" He said, shocked.

"It's EXACTLY what it looks like! He was trying to make out with me!" Michi said.

"No, no! That's not-" Aaron yelled.

Just then, (Y/N) came around the corner.

"Aaron... how could you?" Aphmau said, tears threatening to spill.

(Y/N)'s eyes go wide as she rushed to Aphmau and hugged her.

"What does this mean?" Laurance whispered to Garroth.

"Laurance, we have to do the right thing. She's hurt." Garroth said.

Laurance lets out a sigh. "You're right." He said.

Then, Garroth and Laurance come out from around the corner.

"Aphmau, we saw the whole thing. Aaron was tricked." Garroth said.

(Y/N) lets go of Aphmau and turned around to look at Garroth and Laurance. "What?" She asked, confused.

"Huh?" Aphmau asked, confused.

"They didn't do anything. Michi used a potion to make her look exactly like you and well, you happened to walk in and it wore off." Laurance explained.

"Is this true?" Aphmau asked, looking at Aaron.

"Why would I do something like this to you? You're the only one I have feelings for." Aaron confessed.

"Aaron." Aphmau said, a smile spreading across her face.

"ARGH! YOU GUYS ARE SUCH WET BLANKETS! YOU COULDN'T LET MICHI HAVE HER FUN, COULDN'T YOU?!" Michi yelled, annoyed.

"I thought you said Aaron wasn't your type anyway?" Laurance asked.

"IT DOESN'T MATTER! MICHI WANTS WHAT SHE WANTS!" Michi yelled.

Zane's face goes dark. "You should be leaving now, Michi." He said, darkly.

"Nya?" Michi yelped in surprise.

"If I EVER catch you doing something like that again, ESPECIALLY TO APHMAU, you and I are going to have some problems." Zane threatened.

"What's this? Heh, some excuse for a mischief maker you are. Can't have any fun?" Michi taunted, swishing her tail.

"Leave!" Zane yelled.

"Fine! I didn't want to come to this stupid date anyway!" Michi said, walking off.

Aphmau walked up to Aaron. "I'm so sorry. I should've known better." She said, apologetically to Aaron.

"It's fine. Your heart was breaking and your emotions were everywhere. I understand." Aaron said, kindly.

"Garroth, Laurance, thank you both so much." Aphmau said, smiling at them.

Garroth and Laurance smiled.

"It's alright." Garroth said.

"Yeah, no biggie." Laurance said.

"That was really nice of you." (Y/N) said as she walked over to Garroth and Laurance.

"Don't mention it. Though, if you want to give us a kiss as a thank you, we won't stop you." Laurance said in a flirty tone, smirking.

"WHAT?! IS TRAVIS RUBBING OFF ON YOU, LAURANCE?!" Garroth shouted.

After a while, Travis brought everyone together and took them to the fancy restaurant he told them about. Like he said, it was fancy. The place was packed. They were lucky that Travis made reservations.

~Time Skip~

Aaron walks Aphmau to her doorstep. The lights from inside the house illuminate the steps.

"I had a wonderful time." Aphmau said, tucking her hair behind her ear.

"I'm sorry about-" Aaron started, but he was cut off by Aphmau.

"No. I... really should've known better." Aphmau said.

"Yeah, but I just..." Aaron trailed off.

"Aaron?" Aphmau asked.

Suddenly, Aaron grabbed Aphmau and pulled her in for a loving kiss.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT HER CURFEW?!" Zane shouted, opening the door. He wore a black mustache and suspenders, pretending to be Aphmau and (Y/N)'s dad.

"Geez, you scared me for a second. Wait, ZANE?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?!" Aphmau said.

"THAT'S NONE OF YOUR CONCERN, MISSY! I HAD TO GROUND YOUR SISTER BEFORE COMING OUT HERE! NOW COME INSIDE, I SAW WHAT YOU TWO DID, AND YOU'RE GROUNDED AS WELL!" Zane shouted.

"Stop ruining my life, dad. GOD!" Aphmau said, playing along and sounding like stereotypical teenager. She laughs. "I'll see you tomorrow then?" She said, looking at Aaron.

"Absolutely. Good luck with... your dad." Aaron said, nodding to Zane and walks off.

As soon as Aphmau steps into the house, her and Zane started to shout at each other.

"YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME! SOMETIMES I WISH I'D NEVER BEEN BORN! WHY DO YOU KEEP INTERFERING WITH THIS!? THIS IS LIKE THE SEVENTH GUY! YOU KNOW, I'M GOING TO MY ROOM ANYWAY! I'M OUT OF HERE! I DON'T WANNA DEAL WITH THIS!" Aphmau shouted.

"COME BACK HERE! YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO TALK TO BOYS UNTIL... WAIT, WHERE ARE YOU GOING? COME HERE! I'M TAKING YOUR PHONE AWAY AS WELL! I'M ALSO CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD TO THE WIFI!" Zane shouted.

Aphmau slams her door in Zane's face.

"APHMAU! YOUNG LADY! DO NOT MAKE ME OPEN THIS DOOR! DO NOT LOCK THAT DOO... DON'T MAKE COUNT TO THREE! I AM GOING TO COUNT TO THREE AND THEN I'M COMING IN THERE! ONE... TWO... TWO AND A HALF..." Zane shouted, trailing off.
