~3rd POV ~

*Ding Dong*

The doorbell rang.

Katelyn sighs. "I'll get it, I'll get it." She makes her way to the door and opens it to find an old lady wearing a cat sweater, with nine cats surrounding her.

"Oh hello there, Kawaii~Chan! I am so glad you're watching my kitties for me." The Crazy Cat Lady said.

"Uh... do I look like Kawaii~Chan?" Katelyn asked.

"I don't have time to play your silly games, Kawaii~Chan. Now, listen up. The kitties I'm about to give you are very special. Just be good to them and they're easy to take care of. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to attend my vet appointment for my 52 other cats. Thanks again, Kawaii~Chan." The Crazy Cat Lady said and walks away.

"BUT I'M NOT KAWAII~CHAN! COME BACK HERE YOU CRAZY OLD LADY BEFORE I END YOU-" Katelyn yelled and started to walk out the door, not noticing all the cats running into the house. When Katelyn steps outside, the Crazy Cat Lady was gone. "Huh? Where did she go?" She asked herself. Katelyn groans and walks back into the house. "KAWAII~CHAN, COME DOWN HERE AND GET YOUR CATS! KAWAII~CHAN!" Katelyn yells through the house.

Aphmau and (Y/N) come down the stairs, rubbing their eyes.

"Why are you yelling?" (Y/N) asked.

"Kawaii~Chan isn't here, she's working the noon shift remember-" Aphmau cut herself off in the middle of her sentence.

"KITTIES!" Aphmau and (Y/N) squealed and ran towards the cats.

"Are you serious? That Crazy Cat Lady from down the street left these nine cats here for her to babysit!" Katelyn raged.

"You mean cat sit?" Aphmau and (Y/N) said together.

"Whatever. My point is they're Kawaii~Chan's responsibility and I want NOTHING to do with this." Katelyn continues.

"Hey, YOU let the crazy old lady bring them in here, so they're YOUR responsibility until Kawaii~Chan gets back ." Aphmau said.

Katelyn groaned.

"Huh? Um, Katelyn... you said there were nine cats, and I'm only counting eight..." I said.

"Are you serious!? One is missing!? It was right here just a second ago!" Katelyn said, looking around.

"Are you sitting on it?" I asked.

"What kind of question is that!? I'M NOT EVEN SITTING!" Katelyn yelled.

I giggle. "I mean... we're cat sitting, right?" I continue, a smirk appearing on my face.

A drum and cymbal crash could be heard in the distance.

"(Y/N), just... no. Now we need to find that cat. I don't want it looking for a place to pee in the house." Katelyn said.

"I hope it pees on your stuff." Aphmau mumbled to herself.

"WHAT!?" Katelyn shouted angrily.

Aphmau laughs. "Oh nothing." She said while gigging to herself.

~(Y/N)'s POV~

"Where do we even begin looking to find cats?" Katelyn asked.

"Well, cats like places where they can hide.  Really, the cat could be anywhere in the house... Boxes, under beds, couches, in the bookshelves between the books that aren't there. I mean, he's wearing a little sweater so... he probably is gonna be in a place with a cooler climate somewhere around the house. At least I would hope so." I said.

"What about these other cats? What are we going to do with them?" Katelyn asked, pointing to the other cats.

"I mean they haven't run off and try to hide so, we can probably just leave them all here, I guess. I mean, there's a chance that they might scratch up the new couches, but I mean..." Aphmau said.

"Ugh... put them all in your rooms." Katelyn said to Aphmau and I.

"Our rooms!? Why not your room? You're responsible for them!" Aphmau and I said in sync.

"Your rooms are bigger, the cats would probably like it there better." Katelyn said.

"Okay, first off Katelyn." I point at Aphmau. "Celestia is in Aphmau's room right now and she's not or has never been a bigger fan of cats, okay? Second of all, I have stuff in my room that I DON'T want to get ruined by little cat paw prints. Plus, we don't have any Kitty Litter, what if they need to pee?" I continued. 

"Then they can pee on your (insert anime Senpai) poster. Let's just get looking for that cat." Katelyn said and walks away.

Aphmau sighs. "Katelyn, what are (Y/N) and I going to do with you? Anyway... Okay kitties, hi. We know that Katelyn didn't say anything to you guys... but you're all good kitties, right? You can take care of yourselves." She said.

"Meow~" 

Aphmau gets a meow in response.

I giggle. "You'll all be good cats and stay right here, right? All of you?" I asked.

"Meow~"

Y/N gets a meow in response. "Aww. Aphmau and I knew we could count on you guys to be good. Plus, we just have to say... Let us be the first to say cause we know KATELYN didn't say anything... but your sweaters are absolutely adorable and you're all good kitties for keeping them."

"Thank you~" One of the cats said.

"Oh, well you're welcome! Aww, I guess we gotta start looking for that ninth cat. We don't even know what he looks like, so we don't know how he's gonna-" I suddenly stopped dead in my tracks. "WAIT." 

Aphmau and I suddenly spin around and look at the cat.

"Did that cat just talked to us? Uh..." Aphmau said, staring at the cat.

"Meow~" The cat said in response.

"Okay... We must be imagining things. Okay that was weird. Let's see. it seems like Katelyn's got the bottom floor covered... so we should start searching the top floor. Aphmau and I are on it." I, along with Aphmau, run up the stairs. "Ok let's see, where to start? We can start in your room first, Aphmau." I opened Aphmau's door and walked in, with Aphmau following behind me. "Okay, let's see... It doesn't look like there's any kitties here. Aww Celestia! Oh look at you, you're so cute.You're so adorab- Wait a minute. Hey, didn't we I have a talk about you jumping on my bed or Aphmau's bed? You were just.... Celestia." I said, scolding Celestia.

Celestia whimpers.

Aphmau sighed. "Okay you cutie, you can stay on the bed. But we're gonna cuddle later, okay? All right?" She said and gets a bark in return.

"We love you so much." Aphmau and I said in sync and walked out of the room.

"All right, there's no kitty in my room. Let's go check your room." Aphmau said.

Aphmau and I walked into my room.

I checked under my bed, but there was no cat. "Hmm, let's see... no kitty under my bed. There's no cat in the closet or on my dresser. Let's check in Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan's room." I said.

Aphmau and I walked out of my room and went to Katelyn's room. We looked around, but there was no cats anywhere.

I decided to check the closet. I opened the closet and snickered when I saw the One Direction poster. "Oh Katelyn, Katelyn, Katelyn." I shut the closet doors. "I swear if you try to pawn off the responsibility of the cats on me and Aphmau, we're telling everyone your secret about what you got in your closet." I said.

Aphmau and I walked out of Katelyn's room and shut the door. We walked towards Kawaii~Chan's door.

"All right Kawaii~Chan's room." Aphmau opens Kawaii~Chan's door. "I'm a little afraid to go in here. I feel like we're gonna find something we shouldn't.No cats here." She said and walked into the room.

I followed right behind Aphmau and looked around for any sign of the cats. "Okay. Nothing... too out of the ordinary. No cats here... No cats under her bed... on her desk." I opened the closet, but there was nothing in them. "Okay good." I closed the closet doors back. "All right, there's no kitty in here." I said, walking out of the room.

"It's time to go downstairs." Aphmau said, walking out of the room and shuts the door.

Aphmau and I were halfway down the stairs when they heard Katelyn scream.

"APHMAU! (Y/N)! WHERE ARE ALL THE OTHER CATS!?" Katelyn screamed.

Aphmau and (Y/N) gasps when they saw that the rest of the cats were now gone. "We trusted them! Oh my god! What?"

"ALL THE CATS ARE MISSING AND WE STILL HAVEN'T FOUND THE LAST CAT!" Katelyn yelled.

"Katelyn, have you checked the basement?" Aphmau asked Katelyn.

"Not yet, darn it! I don't want to watch stupid cats, but I don't want them to get hurt either... Fine, you two go and check the basement and I'll go check the garage." Katelyn said and started to walk off.

"Wait wait wait wait!" Aphmau and I laugh nervously.

"Why don't you go check the basement? The garage is really cold and uh..." I said nervously.

"...because I've seen what's in there ." Katelyn replied.

"Katelyn, please. (Y/N) and I don't wanna go in there. Please, Katelyn? I don't wanna go in there." Aphmau whined.

"Nope. That's your doing, you have to deal with it. Again, you LET HER ship you with Aaron... and (Y/N), you LET HER ship you with Garroth and Laurence. Good luck you two!" Katelyn said.

"Katelyn! Please, please, please... Aphmau and I don't want to go in there." I pleaded.

"Nope. Aphmau, have fun seeing you kiss Aaron... And (Y/N), have fun seeing you kiss Garroth and Laurence." Katelyn said, slowly walking sideways into the garage.

"Katelyn, we hate you." Aphmau and I cried.

Katelyn didn't care if Aphmau and I whined about it. She just walked into the garage and shuts the door.

"Fine, we'll do it." Aphmau and I said in sync.

Aphmau opened the basement door and walks down the stairs.

I followed right behind her, shutting the door in the process as I walk down the stairs into the basement. "We're not gonna like it one bit though. "Here kitty kitty kitty kitty!" I start calling out to the cats. "Be somewhere where I can like find you... and not on the other side. I'm not gonna go on the other side as much as I want to. Here kitty kitty kitty kitty!" I sighed. "I'm gonna regret this." I said, turning around so that my back was facing towards the other side of the basement.

Aphmau turns around as well. "There doesn't seem to be any cats on this side of the basement, so that leaves the other side. Okay, (Y/N) and I are gonna turn around and hold our breath and just go."

Aphmau and I turned around and started calling out to the cats. "Here kitty kitty kitties." We said, nervously as we walk right past the shipping shrine.

I noticed that there was a little bit of a change on the shrine. "What is she doing with... Oh my gosh."

The figurines of Aaron and Aphmau were kissing while standing next to a little miniature house. The figures of Garroth and Laurance were each kissing a cheek of the figurine of me as they were standing next to a miniature house.

"Kawaii~Chan... (Y/N) and I have half a mind to rip down this shrine or..." Aphmau suddenly gasped and got an idea. "Maybe we'll put bugs all over it." She said.

Aphmau and I manically laughed at the idea. Even though I hate bugs, I think it's a good idea to put bugs all over that creepy shipping shrine.

"Kawaii~Chan hates bugs." I sighed. "Well that's every place in the house. Where the heck could all of those cats have gone to?" I said.

Aphmau and I went around the corner and walked up the stairs.

"Agh, I swear that there's so many of them..." Aphmau opened the door and walked out.

I followed behind Aphmau and walked out of the basement.

"We should have seen them by now." Aphmau said, shutting the basement door.

Aphmau and I hear Celestia barking.

"Celestia! Celestia!" Aphmau called.

Aphmau and I run upstairs.

"Celestia girl, are you okay?!" I called out as well.

Aphmau and I open Aphmau's door and walked in to see the cats surrounding Celestia on Aphmau's bed.

"What's... What's this?" Aphmau asked.

"This house is home to a dog!" One cat said.

"Are these cats talking?" I asked.

"The dog smells!" A second cat said.

"These people are dog lovers!" A third cat said.

"Uh..." I said, nervously in shock that the cats were talking.

"This is a catastrophe!" A fourth cat said.

"There is a dog!" A fifth cat said.

"We must teach them the way of loving cats!" A sixth cat said.

"I like potatoes!" A seventh cat said.

Aphmau and I tried to get around the cats, but the cats won't let them through. We spun around to find the last cat staring at them.

"Good day to you humans." The cat said.

"You guys can talk. WHAT IS GOING ON!?" Aphmau and I screamed.

"Do not be startled. Though I know it's highly improbable for you not to be, seeing and hearing a talking cat, but allow me to introduce myself and my comrades in sweaters. *Ahem* We are the nine very special cats of the Crazy Cat Lady. Behind you are my comrades, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen." The cat said.

I laugh. "Let me guess, is your name Rudolph?" I said.

"No. My name is Randy." He said.

I fell silent.

"Oh, uh... (Y/N) and I weren't expected that. What do you want from us?" Aphmau said.

"Well at first we were going to just be normal cats in sweaters, but now that we see you have a dog and lack cats in the house, we must show you both the ways of the cats." Randy said.

"First off, cat... We do have a cat in the house... kind of. She's like a half human half cat uh thing." I protest.

"A meif'wa? She doesn't count, she's more human than cat. No, you must experience what it's like to BE a cat, and now... POOF!" Randy said.

In an instant, Aphmau and I are turned into cats. Aphmau is white, black and purple while I was white, (H/C) and (F/C).

"What did you do to us!?" Aphmau and I freaked out.

Don't worry humans, you will turn back to normal in due time. When you both learn to spread Catmas Cheer only then will you turn back to normal." Randy explained.

"Why the heck is Aphmau purple and why am I (F/C)?" I asked.

"It makes you stand out more, plus I attuned to your favorite color. Humans won't look at you as a normal cat and be instantly attracted to you. Then'll you know how it feels to be petted relentlessly, have your desires tempted with laser pointers, as well as be memes on the internet." Randy said.

"This HAS to be a dream." Aphmau said, looking at her small cat paws.

"Then you'll be a cat forever. Trust me this is very much real. Our agenda is to simply make people appreciate their pets more. Not just cats. We just don't like your dog there, because she took the spot on the bed. We wanted that spot. Now, once you two bring Catmas Cheer to someone, you will instantly turn back into humans. Good luck, it's never easy on the first try for most humans." Randy said.

"What? Aphmau's feline eyes go wide and she runs up to Celestial. "Celestia! Celestia! I need help!" She pleads.

"Master!? You're a cat!? HOLY SMOKES THAT MEANS YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME!" Celestia said.

I hop past the cats and join Aphmau and Celestia on the bed. "Are Aphmau and I dreaming?" I asked.

"I don't think so... if you're dreaming does that mean I'm dreaming? OKAY THEN I WANT THESE CATS TO TURN INTO SQUIRRELS NOW!" Celestia yells. Nothing happens. ".....Hm, I guess this isn't a dream after all." She said, disappointed.

"Oh my Irene and Bella..." Aphmau and I said in sync.

"Irene and Bella? Who are they? Are those kinds of food? OH! While I can talk to you, for Christmas can I get a tennis ball? Those look like fun. Also... can you get these cats away from me? I'm scared of cats... they're bigger than me..." Celestia said.

Aphmau and I laugh.

"Aww. Don't worry Celestia, you will be fine. You're be perfectly fine. It's just that... you'll grow big, trust me... and they'll be scared of you someday." Aphmau reassured her.

Aphmau and I leave the room and head down the stairs.

"We got to get out of here sis. If we gotta spread Catmas Cheer to someone-" (Y/N) gasps when she sees Katelyn. "Katelyn! Hey, meow~" I said and run up to her with Aphmau right behind me.

Katelyn turns around and her eyes go wide. "GAH! WHAT!? A PURPLE AND (F/C) CATS?!?!" She screamed.

"Katelyn, thank goodness you're here! Aphmau and I need you to make you happy right now and we have no idea how to do that. So, can you pretend to be happy for a little bit?" I said.

"OUT! OUT! SHOO! I HAVE ENOUGH ISSUES WITH THE OTHER CATS!" Katelyn yelled while taking out her weapon claws.

My and Aphmau's eyes go wide and we start to run away. "NO! LEAVE US ALONE! KATELYN, WE'RE GOOD CATS... WE SWEAR! WE PROMISE!" We pleaded, but Katelyn doesn't speak cat.

We run circles around the house and eventually run out the house.

Katelyn slams the door shut.

"This isn't a dream because it hurt when she hit us. Ow!" Aphmau and I cried. "At least it was a light tap. She was helpful."

"Okay... we have to bring joy to- ah my paws are cold! Okay... we have to bring joy to one person as cats." Aphmau thinks aloud.

I suddenly gasp and look across the street. "We're so dumb! Pfft! Garroth, Laurence and Dante! All we have to do is go over and do some cute things!" I continue and giggled.

Aphmau and I squealed and run across the street. "We got this! This is gonna be easy! Okay. All right, cute things... Think cute thoughts, cute things and we should be good." We run up to the front door and hit the doorbell.

"Come on. Come on... Answer the door, answer the door, answer the door." Aphmau pleaded.

Garroth opens the door.

"Hi! Uh..." I said.

"Huh? Did someone just ring the doorbell and run off?" Garroth asked himself.

"Hello! Down here!" I shouted.

Garroth looks down and jumps in surprise.

"Hi! Garroth, so... meow meow. Uh..." Aphmau and I said in sync.

"...a purple and (F/C) cats?" Garroth questioned and squats down.

"Yes. Shocking, we know. Let me be cute!" I said, angrily.

Aphmau and I start to meow and purr while rubbing against Garroth's feet.

Garroth takes a few steps back and the two cats walk in.

"How cruel some people can be to dye cats like this. Come on in little guys, I'll get you two cleaned up." Garroth said while shutting the door.

"What? What? Wait WHAT!? Huh?" I asked, a little shock.

"NO! NO, PUT US DOWN!" Aphmau and I cried as we were carried towards the bath.

~Timeskip | 3rd POV~

Aphmau and (Y/N) sit next to each other while Garroth talks to Laurance and Dante.

"It's actual purple and (F/C) cats. I bathed them both. The furs are legit purple and (F/C)." Garroth said.

"Maybe they're genetic mutations." Dante suggested.

"Did they come with those little sweaters too? That's kind of cute! Are we going to keep them?" Laurance said.

"I was thinking they might have an owner because of the sweaters. There's no collars... so after the bath, I put them back on so that if the owner passes by, she'll recognize them. Maybe we should give them to the Crazy Cat Lady down the street." Garroth said.

"We are not giving them to that Crazy Cat Lady down the street! She has too many cats and she doesn't care for them properly!" Dante argued.

"Why don't we see if Aphmau and (Y/N) want the cats. They like cats and the colors match what they like." Laurance suggested.

"Aphmau's got a puppy already and (Y/N) considers it as hers as well." Garroth said.

"Right. Well, I guess we can keep the cats." Dante said.

"We have to get them spayed though. I don't think we can deal with kittens." Laurance said.

"Right, I'll set up an appointment with the vet." Garroth turns to the cats. "Hey Sprinkles, Cupcake! We're going to keep you girls- Uh, where did they go?" He said, seeing that the cats were gone.

"You named the cats Sprinkles and Cupcake?" Laurance laughed.

"What? It's the perfect names for cats." Garroth said.

"I like Muffin and Cookie better." Dante said.

"Well I think Serenity and Angel are beautiful names for cats." Laurance argued.

"Sprinkles and Cupcake!" Garroth yelled.

"Muffin and Cookie!" Dante argued back.

"Now I'm just hungry..." Laurance said.

As the boys continue to argue, the girls who are currently in Dante's room head to the window. They break it and jump through to get outside and make a run for it.

"Oh my gosh. Those guys didn't even give us a chance to be cute! They were gonna take us to the vet... and we know exactly what happens there. Bad things... and we can't yell at people not to do those things, because apparently we just... meow!" Aphmau said.

Suddenly, a deep voice is heard behind them. "A purple and (F/C) cats?"

Aphmau and (Y/N) turned around to see Zane. "Z-Zane!?"

"What are you two doing out in the snow alone?" Zane asked.

"Well I could ask you the same thing, but I don't really care." Aphmau said.

"If you want, you guys can follow me. There's warm milk at my place." Zane said.

"Huh? Is he being nice?" (Y/N) asked, surprised.

"We don't have any other options. Katelyn kicked us out of the house and if we go back to those guys, well... I don't want to think about it. What's the worse that could happen?" Aphmau said.

Aphmau and (Y/N) follow Zane to his house. They sit on Zane's black couch, keeping warm from the fire.

"They're finding out now that no Christmas is coming! They're just waking up! I know just what they'll do! Their mouths will hang open a minute or two, then the Whos down in Whoville..." Zane's TV had 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' playing on it.

"Feel better?" Zane asked.

(Y/N) nods her head. "Yeah! I mean, meow." She said.

"I'll take that as a 'yes'. You know, an animal has never followed me home like that way before. I was honestly joking with you at first but... well, yeah." Zane said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh, so it was a joke and you really weren't being nice to us. I see how it is." Aphmau said.

"You know, I was never allowed to have a pet before. Animals usually don't like me." Zane said.

"Oh my Irene and Bella, I can already tell what's gonna happen. He's gonna keep us and then get us neutered and..." (Y/N) shudders. "I knew this was too good to be true."

"Well, the door is that way." Zane said, pointing to the door.

"What?" Aphmau and (Y/N) said, shocked.

"I'm sure you have an owner somewhere who's worried about you two, go on." Zane said.

"He's letting us go? Zane... you've been really nice lately. I wish there was something Aphmau and I could do to show him our gratitude, aside from meowing. Wait... there is! These dumb sweaters!" (Y/N) said.

Aphmau and (Y/N) take off their sweaters and give them to Zane.

"Huh? How did you get those things off? You're giving them... to me?" Zane asked, surprised.

"No, these cats are actually asking you to wash the sweaters. Of course... yes, duh. It's yours." (Y/N) said.

"I've never gotten a gift from someone who wasn't family. But... I guess you guys don't count as a someone, right cats?" Zane said with a small laugh.

"Huh? Is he actually tearing up?" Aphmau asked, shocked.

Zane wipes away some tears. "Thanks..." He said.

"Your welcome Zane." Aphmau said.

Suddenly, a light appears, and the girls are turned back to normal.

Zane's eyes widen and he stares at the two girls. YOU TWO!? WHAT THE? IS THIS SOME KIND OF PRANK!?" He yells.

"Uh..." (Y/N) laughs nervously. "Gotta go! Bye!" She breaks the window and jumps out.

Aphmau follows suit. "See ya!" She said, going through the broken window.

 "MY WINDOWS! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Zane screamed, wearing the sweater that (Y/N) had given him.

Aphmau and (Y/N) didn't look back and kept running.
