↠ two weeks later; sunday midday ↞

my passport has been organised and i've been packing for the trip. our flight is later tonight, it'll be a 10 hours 30 minutes long so we'll arrive at seoul tomorrow morning.

*phone rings ; emily is calling*

"hello?"

"hey vanessa, what are you up to?"

"i just finished packing, how about you?"

"yeah same, hopefully i didn't overpack haha"

"haha, i know right"

"can we video call? i'll add leanne"

"yeah sure, i'll just set up my laptop"

"cool, chat soon" emily said then ended the call

i set up my laptop and video called emily and leanne

"hey guys!" i greeted them and waved

"hey, who's excited for tonight?"

"us of course!"

"have you finished packing, leanne?"

"not yet...oops"

"aw it's okay, there's still time"

"guys, let's cheers virtually"

"okay sure!"

we all got our cups of beverage

"cheers to us!"

↠ a few hours later ↞

i've been spending time with my family for the past few hours before i leave to go to the airport tonight. my parents said it's best to go to the airport at least 2 hours before boarding time so i'll get to the airport around 7pm to meet with the others.

i'm super excited but kind of nervous for the airplane flight because it'll be my first time on a plane travelling overseas, especially without my family. the trip will be 2 weeks long which lowkey sounds long but i know it'll go by quickly. i'm so happy that i'll be experiencing this with my best friends and korean teacher.

for the past few days, i've been loving bts even more and have been hoping that they would be the kpop boy group we'll be performing with. i've never met or interacted with celebrities before, especially kpop idols but i'm very keen to find out who we'll be collaborating with!

↠ 6:30PM ↞

i made sure that i've packed everything i needed before i left the house, then my family and i made our way to the airport.

↠ 7PM ↞

we just arrived at the airport. i saw emily and leanne waiting for me at the entrance, i ran towards them and hugged them.

"hey, have you eaten dinner yet?" i asked

"nope"

"no, should we eat dinner together before we board on the plane?"

"sure but let's check in first" i said

"okay~" they both agreed

our families waited for us to check in then we all ate dinner together.

↠ an hour an a half later ↞

we finished eating dinner and saw mr an sitting at the waiting area. we greeted him and sat down.

for the last 20 minutes, we were all chatting, taking videos and photos together. then it was time to bid our farewells to our families and board the plane.

"have a safe flight, remember to keep in touch with us" my mum said while hugging me

"don't worry, i will" i said then hugged my parents and siblings. i waved at them and walked towards the gate to board.

after going through security and sat on our seats in the plane, we settled down.

"i can't believe this is happening!" i said in excitement

"i know right! this is crazy" emily said

"we're so lucky" leanne said

turbulence wasn't bad, it lowkey reminded me of an amusement park ride lmao

we were all doing our own thing, i was mostly on my ipad watching kdrama and did some vlogging from time to time. i would also do some digital bullet journalling to write about how my feelings and thoughts. majority of the plane ride, we were all just sleeping. i couldn't stop thinking about who the mystery kpop boy group could be for our special live performance, i guess we'll find out soon...
