"boo!" jungkook said from behind and had his hands on my shoulders

he failed to scare me since i didn't flinch. i put my phone away and i turned around.

jungkook was pretty much wearing all black except for his white t-shirt and he honestly looked so attractive. he also wore a black leather jacket, black beanie and a face mask incase people could recognise him.

"you don't get scared easily?" he asked

"nope haha" i said and laughed

"you're so brave haha, ready to sing?" he asked

"always" i said and smiled

jungkook shyly offered to take my hand, without hesitation, i held his hand and we walked into the karaoke place. the lady at the desk recognised jungkook since he always came to this karaoke place to sing. she insisted that we could stay there as long as we want, free of charge which was so sweet of her. we thanked the lady, took the microphones and walked into one of the karaoke rooms.

i sat down in the middle of the couch and jungkook sat next to me but there was a little gap in-between us. i was looking through the song book, jungkook knew what song he wanted to sing first so he searched for the song and played it.

*beautiful by crush started playing*

"do you know this song?" he asked while looking at me

"yes, i love this song!" i said and looked up at him

"feel free to sing with me" he said and smiled

"okay~" i said and smiled back

as soon as he started singing, i was captivated by his sweet voice and couldn't stop looking at him. he caught me staring at him, he smiled and continued to sing. i quickly added some songs to reserve and continued to watch jungkook sing. when it was the second verse, i picked up the microphone and he let me sing. i could feel his eyes staring at me as i sang but it didn't bother me. when the chorus came, jungkook moved closer to me. i looked at him and he held my hand, we intertwined fingers while singing together and he was even harmonising with me. once the song finished, we waited for our score and we got 100.

"we did so good!" he said and gave me a high-five

"i know i already told you this but i really love your voice" i said and blushed

"i really love your voice too" he said and i thanked him

from time to time we would record us singing together. we sang many upbeat songs while dancing around, we also sang sad songs and love songs. there was not even a time where it would get awkward between us, he would be playing around and making me laugh. we were being our authentic selves just having a good time.

↠ 7:30pm ↞

we finished karaoke, gave the microphones back to the lady at the desk, thanked her and left the karaoke place.

"are you hungry?" jungkook asked

"kinda, how about you?"

"same. have you tried the korean street foods here before?"

"no i haven't"

"let's go eat some korean street food~" he said and smiled

"okay, let's go~" i said and smiled back

we walked around and found some food stalls, jungkook insisted on buying dinner for me. we tried many korean street foods and every time i took a bite of the different foods, jungkook would take a video of me eating it to get my reaction.

"thanks for buying dinner for me" i said and held his hand

"it's okay~" he said and smiled at me

"what should we do now?"

"hm...let's check out the busking performances"

"okay~"

"wait-" he said and stopped walking then let go of my hand

"w-what's wrong?" i asked and watched jungkook take off his jacket

"here wear this, it's getting cold" he said and helped me put his jacket on me

"oh- thank you" i said and blushed

"no worries" he said then we held hands again while walking

we watched many people doing busking performances, there was a group of boys doing kpop dance covers and everyone was surrounding them. they were pretty good and we were cheering for them. there was another busking performance at the other side of the street, we decided to check it out and saw a guy singing. we admired his singing and cheered for him. suddenly, the guy asked if anyone wanted to sing and i looked at jungkook.

"you should sing" i said

"how about you?" he asked

"let's play scissors, paper, rock and whoever loses gets to sing"

"okay, deal"

we played one round and i lost the game.

"hwaiting~" he said and smiled

i pouted at jungkook and volunteered myself to sing. the guy was very happy that i volunteered and he handed me the microphone.

"hi everyone, i'm vanessa from australia. i'll be singing d (half moon) by dean" i said and the crowd cheered for me. the guy played the instrumental version of the song and i started singing.

i noticed that jungkook was recording me while smiling and the crowd grew bigger. i didn't feel nervous because i was used to performing for events so i was really enjoying it. there was a couple of people who were also recording me and were waving their hands to the song, it made me happy and feel good. once i finished singing, everyone cheered for me. i smiled and bowed, gave the microphone back to the guy and thanked him. i walked back to jungkook and he gave me a big warm hug.

"you did amazing, i'm proud of you" he said while hugging me

"thank you, oppa" i said while hugging him back

i wasn't expecting him to hug me. his body heat was so warm and i could hear his heartbeat going fast, same with mine. i felt safe in his arms, i didn't want this hug to end but we had to brake the hug. then we continued to walk around hongdae.

↠ 8:30pm ↞

i checked the time on my phone and there was half an hour before 9pm. jungkook asked his manager sejin if they could give me a ride to my hotel, he said yes and we waited for him to pick us up.

"the hyungs and i are available after dance practice tomorrow, do you and the girls want to come over to our dorm for lunch and to hangout?" jungkook asked

"that sounds fun, i'll have to check with mr an first then i'll let you know" i said and smiled, he smiled back.

manager sejin arrived, jungkook opened the backseat door for me, i thanked him and got inside the car. manager sejin and i quickly introduced ourselves and i told him the name of the hotel i was staying at. while he searched for the address, jungkook helped put my seatbelt on for me and he sat next to me.

"thanks oppa" i whispered

"anytime" he whispered back and i blushed

"are we ready?" manager sejin asked

"yes, hyung" jungkook said and manager sejin started driving

i was looking outside the window then i felt jungkook's hand on top of mine. i looked at our hands then at him, he was blushing. i held jungkook's hand and he intertwined my fingers with his and we smiled at each other. i leaned on his shoulder and he leaned his head on top of mine. the car ride was chill and wasn't for that long.

when we arrived, we were parked across from the hotel. i thanked manager sejin and got out of the car then jungkook walked with me to the front of the entrance of the hotel.

"thank you so much for tonight. i had the best time with you, oppa"

"thanks for joining me, i had the best time with you too. we should go out again sometime"

"i would love to. oh here, thanks again for letting me borrow your jacket" i said and gave him back his jacket

"it's okay, the leather jacket looked good with your outfit" he said while putting his jacket on

"thanks haha, i'll see you tomorrow" i said and hugged him

"see you tomorrow" he said and hugged back

we waved at each other, he waited for me to walk inside the hotel then he went back in the car.

once i got to the front of my hotel room door, mr an came out of his room and asked how my night was, i told him it was good and i had a lot of fun. we said 'goodnight' to each other and went into our hotel rooms.

i was getting ready for bed then i quickly called my parents to keep them updated and hear how they were going. after the call, i decided to text jungkook.

me: i hope you and your manager-hyung got home safely~

jungkook: we did, thank you (／≧ω＼)

jungkook: oh yeah, let's send each other the photos and videos we took tonight~

me: sure!

me: *sends photos and videos*

jungkook: *sends photos and videos*

me: thank you!

jungkook: thank you too!

me: i'm going to sleep now, goodnight. see you tomorrow~

jungkook: sleep well, goodnight~

after texting jungkook, i set my alarm, put my phone away, turned the lamp off, wrapped myself under the blankets and closed my eyes while thinking about jungkook then eventually i fell asleep.
