vanessa's pov ♡  ࿐ྂ ࿔ ;

it's 6AM and i just woke up from the loud sounds of emily banging on my hotel room door while shouting my name.

"RISE AND SHINE"

"YAH VANESSA WAKE UP"

i groaned and covered my whole body and face under the blankets but she continued to knock and shout.

"I WON'T STOP UNTIL YOU OPEN THE DOOR"

"FINE, I'M COMING" i shouted and stumbled my way to open the door to see emily smiling brightly in her pyjamas

"good morning, sunshine!" emily said and hugged me

"morning" i said while yawning

"it's time to get ready then we'll eat breakfast and make our way to the dance studio"

"okay~"

emily ran back to her hotel room and i quickly got myself ready. leanne and mr an were already waiting at the cafeteria. after 10 minutes or so, i met the others at the cafeteria, ate breakfast and we made our way to the dance studio.

once we entered the dance studio, we put our belongings away and started stretching.

"guys, i'm getting really nervous..." i said and took a sip from my water bottle

"it's going to be okay vanessa, don't worry" emily said while hugging me

"guys i think i can heard them, they're coming now!" leanne said excitedly

we all lined up in the middle of the room, facing the door. leanne was on my right side, i was in the middle and emily was on my left side.

we saw a male manager opening the door, i recognised him and it was bts' manager, sejin. my eyes widened and i held onto emily and leanne's hands. all the members of bts walked in, looked at us and started bowing and greeting us. we bowed and greeted them back. after they put their belongings away, they lined up in-front of us. coincidentally, jungkook and i were wearing the same outfits; black oversized hoodie, black sweatpants and black sneakers.

"omg, you and jungkook are literally wearing couple outfits" emily whispered and nudged me

i looked at my outfit then at jungkook's, emily was right, we were wearing the exact outfit. i was flustered and contemplated if i should take my hoody off but i saw jungkook already taking off his hoodie and he had a white t-shirt on underneath.

jungkook's pov ♡ ࿐ྂ ࿔ ;

the hyungs and i were on our way to meet the winners of the kpop contest. we heard that they came from sydney australia, were a girl group of 3 members and we were going to perform together next week at music bank. i was nervous but excited to meet and work with them all.

once we walked into the dance studio, we saw 3 girls lined up holding hands. we bowed and greeted them and they did the same. they were so polite and i could tell that the girl in the middle was more nervous and surprised. she was short, had a cute appearance, had her wavy black medium hair out and was wearing the same outfit as me. after her friend whispered at her, she looked at her outfit then at mine. she started looking flustered so i took my hoodie off to not make her uncomfortable.

vanessa's pov ♡ ࿐ྂ ࿔ ;

"we'll introduce ourselves first" namjoon said and smiled, we nodded and smiled back.

i let go of emily and leanne's hands and was trying to keep calm. i was so surprised that bts was right in-front of us, we were not expecting to meet them and i couldn't stop admiring them.

"2, 3 bang~tan! hello, we're BTS" they said, bowed and smiled at us.

"hello, we're LVE" we said, bowed back then made our fingers do the letters "L", "V" and "E" and smiled at them.

"that was cute" the members said and did the "L", "V" and "E" with their fingers.

i giggled at their actions and kept blushing, then we all introduced each other individually.

"hi, i'm leanne. i'm 18 years old from sydney. it's an honour to meet you all"

"hey, i'm emily! i'm also 18 years old from sydney. it's so nice to meet ya'll"

"hello, i'm vanessa. i'm 17 years old also from sydney. it's really a pleasure to meet you all"

BTS didn't have to introduce themselves individually since we already knew them all but they did it anyways, then we shook hands with them. my hands were shaking, my heart was about to pop out of my chest and i couldn't stop gazing into jungkook's eyes. i pulled myself together and tried to stay calm and focused.

jungkook's pov ♡ ࿐ྂ ࿔ ;

after we introduced ourselves, we shook their hands. once my eyes met vanessa's and i shook her hands, i couldn't stop looking at her. i could feel her hand shaking, i rubbed my thumb against the back of her hand to comfort her then we stepped back.

"she's the maknae (youngest member) of the group too"  i thought to myself

there was something special about vanessa. the energy she has was positive, she was so polite and was just adorable. i was curious to know more about her and wanted to befriend her as well as the other members of lve.

vanessa's pov ♡ ࿐ྂ ࿔ ;

"have you all stretched yet?" namjoon asked

"yes we have but we can do some more stretching" leanne said

namjoon nodded and told the members that we were going to stretch for a bit. we all spread out around the room while facing the mirror. i was at the back behind emily near the wall and there was an empty space on my right side and i saw jungkook shyly walking to that space. i looked at him and he gave me a warm smile and i smiled back.

we've been stretching for about 5 minutes. i felt awkward every time i looked at the mirror so i tried to avoid eye-contact with everyone and just focused on myself.

after stretching, bts showed us the 'i need u' choreography. emily, leanne and i were amazed and couldn't believe that we were seeing them dance in front of us. i would focus on everyone individually, making sure i observe and memorise their dance moves. i'm a quick learner so i didn't think it would be too difficult to learn the choreography. i loved this song and the choreography but i was wondering how we were going to collaborate with all 10 of us.

*after bts showed us the dance*

we all cheered and clapped once they finished dancing.

"that was incredible!" i said and smiled

"thank you!" bts all said and bowed

"so how are we going to do this?" emily asked

"firstly, we're going to teach you all the choreography then we will figure out positions later" hoseok said and smiled

"okay, sounds good" leanne said

we all spread out around the room again, this time jungkook and i were at the front with hoseok. hoseok was teaching leanne, emily and i while the others joined in to help out.

↠ 15 minutes later ↞

"vanessa, emily and leanne, choose any bts member to be your dance partner" hoseok said

i looked around and saw jungkook looking down then i walked closer to him

"jungkook?" i said and tapped his shoulder

"oh- yes?" he said and looked up at me

"do you want to be my dance partner?" i asked shyly

"of course" he said and smiled

i blushed and smiled back then we were standing next to each other. we were so shy that we couldn't look or say anything to each other. we waited for the others to choose their dance partner. leanne chose jimin and emily chose taehyung.

"okay, who wants to go first? you just have to dance to the chorus" hoseok said

jungkook and i looked at each other

"should we?" he asked and i nodded

"we'll go first, hyung" jungkook said and put his hand up

everyone was cheering for us while we waited for the music to start. once it started, we started dancing in sync and everyone was hyping us.

"wow, vanessa can really dance!" seokjin said surprised

"vanessa dances better than you, jungkook-ah" yoongi jokingly said

"you both look good together" jimin said and smirked

"best duet partners~" taehyung said and clapped

"vanessa, you're a quick learner. very nice!" hoseok said gave me a gentle pat on the back

"great job, vanessa" jungkook said and gave me a high-five

"thank you, you did great too" i said while looking into his eyes and smiled

we sat down next to each other and watched the others dance. when they were done, we cheered for them and continued to learn the dance together.

↠ an hour later ↞

"everyone did a great job today! you have a week and two days of dance practice before you all perform on music bank. this dance studio will always be available for dance practice" mr an said

"ne!" (yes) everyone said

i walked over to emily and leanne

"what time do you guys wanna practice tomorrow?"

"hm, i don't wanna wake up super early again" leanne said and yawned

"yeah same, maybe we'll practice around 10AM?" emily said

"i was thinking of practicing around 8AM" i said and drank from my water bottle

"but you'll be practicing here alone until we arrive" emily and leanne said a bit too loud that the boys heard and walked over to us

"vanessa is going to practice alone?" yoongi asked

"she wants to practice at 8AM while we want to practice at 10AM" leanne said and scratched the back of her head

"that's not a problem! does anyone wanna join vanessa for dance practice tomorrow at 8AM?" seokjin looked over and asked the boys

"i will.." jungkook spoke up while putting his hands in his pockets

everyone looked at him and jimin pushed jungkook towards me and we smiled at each other.

"very good, jungkook-ah" jin said and patted jungkook's back

"jungkook-ah, you should ask vanessa for her phone number" taehyung said and wiggled his eyesbrows

jungkook's face started turning red from embarrassment and he covered his ears. seeing him embarrassed and shy made me feel so soft omg my heart. while the members were teasing jungkook, i looked through my bag, ripped a small piece of paper and wrote my phone number down.

"here's my phone number, text me when you're free" i said and shyly handed the paper to jungkook

"thank you" he said while blushing and took the paper. i felt his hand touching mine for a few seconds when he took the paper, then he quickly put his hands back in his pockets.

everyone was looking at us and it went silent for a bit.

"let's take a group photo!" namjoon said excitedly

"i'll take photos of everyone" mr an insisted then pulled out his phone camera

yoongi stood next to me on my left side and jungkook was on my right side.

"everyone squish in together, don't be shy" mr an said

everyone moved in together and i moved closer towards jungkook. he looked at me, smiled then he put his left arm around my shoulder and did a 'peace/v sign'. i looked up at him, did the same "peace/v sign' and smiled for the camera.

for the rest of the day, bts had a busy schedule and mr an showed us around some korean attractions. we took many photos, videos and bought some souvenirs to take home.

after dinner emily, leanne and i were chilling in my hotel room. we were chatting about our thoughts of meeting bts today and how excited we were to be working with them.

it was already 9:30PM, emily and leanne went back to their hotel rooms while i got ready for bed. i was texting my family and friends about my day then i suddenly received a text message from an unknown phone number.

unknown phone number: hi vanessa, it's jungkook (/ω＼)

unknown phone number: sorry for texting you late...

*created new contact ~> jungkook *

me: hey jungkook, no worries~

me: btw thanks for texting me >//<

jungkook: it's okay~

jungkook: you're still awake?

me: yeah haha but i'm going to sleep soon though

jungkook: me too

jungkook: i'll see you tomorrow morning (〃^~^〃)

me: goodnight, see you then (๑'•.̫ • '๑)

after texting jungkook, i couldn't stop blushing and my heart was racing. i set my alarm for tomorrow morning, turned the lamp off, went under the blankets and sighed. every time i closed my eyes, i could see jungkook when i gazed into his eyes and shook his hands. eventually, i fell asleep.
